garyaustin: Eleven people died and one, somehow, survived when a small aircraft belonging to a private parachute school crashed Saturday in Poland, state news reported.
Firefighters learned about the crash near Czestochowa, a city some 140 kilometers (85 miles) north of Krakow, around 4:20 p.m., Polish Press Agency (PAP) reported.
Czestochowa fire Capt. Pawel Liszaj told PAP that arriving firefighters found three people outside the aircraft, one of whom was still alive.
"Unfortunately, everything indicates that he is the only person who survived the crash," provincial police spokeswoman Joanna Lazar told CNN affiliate TVN.
Authorities later discovered nine bodies inside the plane's wreckage, according to Liszaj.
The survivor -- who was one of the three initially spotted outside the aircraft -- was flown by helicopter to a Czestochowa hospital, Robert Galazkowski, the head of the Polish Medical Air Rescue, told PAP.
The 40-year-old man was conscious from the time he was found, though he suffered many injuries, including to his pelvis, according to the report. He was in serious but stable condition Saturday evening, Galazkowski said.
The cause of the crash wasn't immediately known.

Update;Eleven people were killed and one was injured when a small plane carrying parachutists crashed and burst into flames shortly after takeoff in southern Poland on Saturday, firefighters said.

Experts said it was the worst passenger plane crash in Poland in many years.

Paweł Frątczak, national spokesman for the firefighters, said that 11 parachutists and a pilot were on board the twin engine aircraft when it took off for a training flight. A few minutes later it crashed and caught fire in an orchard in the village of Topolów, near Czestochowa. No one was hurt on the ground, he said.

Frątczak said that firefighters called to the site found two dead, and one injured person was taken to hospital. Paweł Liszaj, the firefighters' local spokesman, said that medical services at the site confirmed there were nine other bodies in the wreckage.

The plane was the property of a private parachuting school based at the small airport of Rudniki.

The cause of the crash is being investigated. Firefighters say that the Piper Navajo aircraft may have been overloaded.

garyaustin: Sahara Computers head office in Midrand has been robbed by five unidentified armed men in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

Armed men entered premises and held an employee at gunpoint, the men demanded keys to the safe.

"They asked me where are my keys? Where is my car and all stuff , I told them no I don’t have nothing, they said I must look down and if I look up they will shoot me dead,” a Sahara Computers employee held at gunpoint told ANN7 about the ordeal.

Crime Line has on Thursday issued a statement following the Sahara Computers robbery appealing to the public to come forward with information that can lead to the arrest of the gang.

“Someone, somewhere, somehow has some information that can lead to the arrest of the gang. SMS 32211 or call Crime Stop 08600 10111”. said Crime Line in a statement on Thursday.

Crime Line also touched on the continuous complaints of people about 10111tendances not responding urgently to crimes.

“We continue to receive scores of complaints about 10111. It is an on-going problem. We appeal to the police to urgently intervene and invest in improving this service, 10111 is an emergency line and the poor service is of serious concern. There needs to be immediate interventions.” crime Line added in a statement.

People are urged to report bad experiences with the police leadership and IPID.

SAPS Spokesperson, Lungelo Dlamini said “we are looking for two suspects who allegedly have information of the company.”

Police are looking for suspects who were involved in the robbery, A case of robbery has been opened and police are investigating the matter. No arrests have been made yet.

Hi, I recommend broadcasting for Voice over artists in Nigeria. Broadcasting industry in Nigeria is highly regulated and most of the practitioners, especially, news presenters are trained in auditory phonetics or mastery of the 49 speech sounds of English Language. 80% of highly successful Voice over artistes in Nigeria have Radio background. Pioneers of Nollywood and advertising are from broadcasting. If you are a Voice Over talent, by all means be on Radio and Television.
