Good afternoon all, I am using a 2009 Toyota Corolla, it started showing maintenance required sign a few weeks back along with the indicator in the picture attached, also noticed that the mpg keeps decreasing by single digits whenever I drive it, I can leave the house with 19.8mpg and return with 19.7mpg, i don't know if anybody has experienced something similar, thank you.

Hello @ Gazzuzz, i just stumble at your great work on this thread and it comes handy for me.

Pls i am considering to ring my camry 2009 engine. Pls where can i get quality ring and top gasket and at what prices pls? And do you think ringing will be effective? The car is shorting oil and i top it with 1litr weekly.

Secondly, i usually notice a fog-like covering on my windscreen from within whenever i park the car for extended period of time say 9 to 5pm even when it did not rain and in this dry season period. Pls what could be the cause and what shld i do? I acquired the car tokunbo march this year and has not done any work on the AC system, not even top up of gas.

Pls help.

Hello Gazzuzz, please I am getting the following errors on my Hyundai Accent:
P0077 (Intake Valve Control Solenoid Circuit High Bank 1)
P0626 (Generator Field / F Terminal Circuit High)
P0326 (Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Range/Performance Bank 1 or Single Sensor)
My car sometimes jerks, shakes and drags in its movement.
Please, how do I resolve these issues completely as I have tried one or two mechanics without success?

Dear Gazzuz pls can the dashboard speedometer get bad? Sometimes Mine has been flickering on and off when in motion but it will be steady when the car is not moving.

I went to 2 rewires they check my alternator and they said the alternator is good, my battery is good too, to prove to me they change like 3 different batteries but is still flickering when moving. They check all the fuses and they are okay.

They said I need to replace the speedometer which is 20k for the South African corrolla type.



I don't know whether you have encountered such a problem before

IS CAR NOT REVVING IN NEUTRAL A BIG PROBLE. Because my FX35 whether in gear D,1,2,3,4 or 5, drives fine, gears P,R,N works fine. But the issue is that i cant revv the engine in neutral. But once i engage the gear in drive, the car moves smoothly. What do i do please?

and the water in my radiator plastic reserve tank practically boils when the car is on for a period of 20min. Is that normal?, because i dont think so.
Help me please. Thanks.

Gazzuz... The AC on my 2009 corolla will only blow cold air when the engine is revved to above 3000 RPM and trips off on lower RPM. Please help me to solve this problem, Thanks

Please kindly advise. My 1999 toyota camry displays check engine light. The speedometer reading suddenly went blank while driving and the gear selection changed somehow. I took it for scanning and scanned result points to speed sensor. We have replaced with 2 speed sensors, the speedometer displayed and read again but after driving for sometimes, the speedometer will just go blank again and the gear selection will be affected again.
I consulted another technician, he said the instrument cluster is the culprit and will have to be replaced. I dont know how true about this assertion cos the scanned result points to speed sensor.
Kindly advise on what may actually be the issue. Is it that the speed sensor bought are of low quality or the instrument cluster will have to be replaced.
