Kindly see the attached picture for the error codes from my car. The car is Toyota Camry 2007 xle.

Based on my mecho recommendation, i recently put catalyst in the car, so i expect that i shouldn't be having p0420 again.

About the other code (p0172), please i need guidance on it, there is no money and as such i can't afford my mechanic to be second guessing and treating what's not.

Good day Gazzuzz,

I just bought a 2007 Hyundai Elantra (Naija used). When I did the test drive, it was in the morning and I think I did about 5 miles, the gear selected well, no check engine light, total milage in the car is 129k

I collected the car on Tuesday, drove from Agege to Yaba. On my way back in the evening, the car limped on motion and the check engine light came up. I was able to drive it back home to Agege. I noticed that whenever I'm at a stop and want to move, the car responds sluggishly but after 10 seconds it gains speed again.

Wednesday morning, the drive from Agege was okay again (no check engine) but it limped around Jibowu and the sluggishness started and check engine came up again.

I diagnosed with my Oga's OBD2 and got the PO700 code. Please what would you advise I do?

I don't mind bringing the car to your workshop for a comprehensive diagnosis, repair or replacement.

This is my first car and I don't want just any Kabiru to use me dey chop.

I look forward to your feedback sir.

My cousin bought a car in Lagos and paid for it to be driven to Benin but before he got to Benin, the engine failed.

According to mechanic report, the oil pump got bad and it was still being driven.

Right now, he needs to replace the engine.

The car is in Benin. A 2003 Toyota corolla.

Please any experienced expert in the house?

What's the cost of fixing it?

Please don't ever let another officer to start searching from the other side where your eyes are not reaching..
Just plead with him earnestly to stop his own search and allow only the officer in front of you to do the whole searching.

Price of diesel de go up with dollar, while petrol is subsidised. I'm not as happy as I used to be I started at 180 now at 285.

I only travel with this beast, local runs not so economical .
