Observer007: Hello auto gurus in the house, which is the correct tyre pressure guide to follow: what's written on the tyres or what's pasted on the driver's side of the car? Or the usual 40/45 psi that most vulcanizers are wont to administer?
On my saloon car (ES), the tyre pressure indicated is 29 psi (cold pressure), while on the tyres it's recommended at 44psi. All so confusing!
Personally, I've always insisted on 35 psi on all four tyres. But now I'm afraid I might be under-inflating the tyres which can lead to quicker wear.
okenikpoto: A Nigerian man, Chief Ugochukwu Okoro, who is an Igbo Community leader staged a one man protest at MSC office in Toronto, Canada over his containers that were been held by the shipping company.
During the protest which he streamed live, he accused MSC of exploiting Nigerians doing business with them.
Okoro, who stormed the MSC office in Toronto said he had been coming to the office to complain for the past two months but has always been told that the issue will be resolved which never happened.
His decision to go live during his protest got the attention of senior managers in the company . Okoro accused the shipping company of exploiting Nigerian shippers by making them pay bribes and other unknown bills before releasing their containers. He said that MSC office in Nigeria are exploiting loopholes in government non supervisory role in ports to exploit Nigerian shippers.
Management of the MSC contacted Toronto Police who later had a discussion with the protester.
The live streaming of the protest has gone viral with so many commentators sharing what Nigerian shippers go through in the hands of MSC.

Two possible issues.
Engine mounts (especially the right side near the belt. ) And low RPM. (Clean throttle body)

After two years usage the staff sold it off to one of his nephew.
So I want to buy from the nephew, but my confusion is the guy said South African model doesn't have custom duty, it only has receipt of purchase from SA.
How true is it pla, he said that custom never bothered him about it.

arcbaba: Sorry for jumping on this thread sir!, I have always had this P0031 on my Toyota Corolla 2005 and I tot the code was related to lack of catalyst in the car. That's y I have never bothered to replace that sensor. So if I replace the bank 1 sensor that particular codes will disappear
Yes you will stop having the p0031 code, you will also get much better fuel economy

Also my car keeps throwing up the P0171 code and I am thinking of changing the fuel filter (the engine one), because it often loses power and goes off when it stays long in the traffic and the oil light keeps blinking. First code P0031 TOYOTA Oxygen Sensor Heater Control Circuit Low Bank 1 Sensor 1
Your O2 sensor bank1 sensor 1 us bad. You will need to replace the one at the top. It will contribute to higher than expected fuel economy .
Inability to start on first crank , check fuel pump assy for inability to hold fuel pressure .
Rpm values seem almost normal , 900 is rather high, a history of manual adjustments to throttle body or throttle pedal could cause abnormal readings like this , also air intake leaks could cause same.
Finally the big one.
P0500, I was really hoping it was an abs related code but it is not.
What you have is a slipping transmission. Start be draining your transmission oil and outing fresh oil (Toyota TIV) and hope for the best.
Piyke: I should be switching accommodation and plan to get a small toolshed in the backyard. Between 3.5 - 5sqm should be good and it has to be a portable unit or at least not made of brick and motar.
I already got some discouraging quotes from those guys that fabricate container homes... 1.4M for the tiny size I described.

There are 3 brake indicators on your vehicle , left right and center(rear windshield) they all cannot be bad at same time. Pls seek a 2nd opinion .
My suggestion is a brake switch, but I might be wrong since your vehicle is able to shift from park to drive (might have been bypassed)

We checked the coils 4 of them all good . Changed new plugs all good .
Still speed up a tiny hill from 0MPH IT will rise to 40MPH and then be still den steady at 40 and start increasing when am off to level ground.
Even if am at 50MPH and above immediately I entered an inclined express way it will be dropping gradually and be steady at 40MPH .

Trial and error will end up destroying your vehicle . Last time I checked , 2003-2007 corolla goes for ₦2.4m - 2.7m buy a scanner and ship it to your self where ever you are, scan the car, post the results, you can even become the local scanner guy in your area and makeup for the cost of the cost of the scanner in a short time.
