Lol...LAGSG is treating these guys with kid gloves. We have a nuisance that is building up tempo and the solution is not road signs! There's already a law banning them but with zero enforcement. I want to use this medium to thank you and appreciate you for getting my Kia Sorento 04 back on the road . Finally , the engine runs fine and the Check engine light is off (First time since purchase).

However , there is one finally issue I observed . The transmission D light is off ( goes back on at times, and everything works fine) and this makes accelerating in low gears slow, but once it picks up, transmission works fine.

What do you suggest ?

The 04 to 05 was fitted with 3.3L while the 09 is fitted with 3.5L

The 3.5L is faster and more fuel efficient than the 3.3L but the Engine and transmission of the 09 cost more than the 3.3L

They are both solid but the 3.5 is an all aluminum block Engine, if it has a serious overheating problem replacement of the Engine is the only solution. But personally I would buy a 3.5 over 3.3 if I am not a novice in vehicles

07 avalon idle speed at 1000rpm when the ac is on but reduces to 800rpm if the ac is off. Any solution pls?

Also GAZZUZZ, please recommend a good brand of 5w30 engine oil. Pardon my many questions, it's my first car and I have little to no experience.

I have done engine tune up severally. If you start the vehicle in the morning, it run well on idle
But when the engine is very hot especially in the afternoon, it will start vibrating on idle while using AC.

Any other option Sir?

I have checked the oil gauge, and I think it's at an okay level, oil not dark nor greasy.

Do I ignore this notification or is there a fix?

If am being honest, I met a driver yesterday that still makes 70-100 k a week because I checked his account. But believe me when I say this guy is dying. Looking all dusty and alien. You can decipher immediately that his life span is being tempered with because his eyes are red and you can see weakness all over his body. He is almost looking like an animal. I can swear that this guy have not had a good sleep in months. How can somebody be on Uber 3% on monday already if not madness? Telling me he drives everyday from 5 am till 11 pm?

As am even talking, all my body is paining me. If I will advise anyone reading this; THIS THING IS NOT A JOB. IT IS A SLOW KILLER. Find a way and get out of this thing before it harms you.

Just ask yourself one question as an Uber driver.

Ever since you started driving, can you boast of solid 1 million saved from Uber or Bolt work? You see what I mean?

Can you eventually build a house in Ikorodu or Ayobo doing Uber work? I dont even want to mention ordinary Anthony not to talk of Lekki or VGC.

Most drivers I know can barely feed, pay rent and feed at same time not to talk of building house.

My Car vibrates at Idle when the AC is turned on. However when I'm driving it works just fine. Warm in idle state and the engine vibrates but cooler and running smoothly when moving.

I changed the compressor and the condenser. Everything was neatly installed.

At times, even when the AC is off but the engine is charged after speeding, I will experience a rough idle when I stop with the engine vibrating and jerking.

Please I need an advice.

Please i created this moniker to seek advise on this issue.

I got married to my wife in 2018 and there's already an issue that is threatening our young marriage.

We dated briefly 10 years ago before she travelled to the US for schooling. She stayed there for a while and then got into a relationship over there with a guy i know (I wasn't close friends with the guy). I had to move on with my life and got into a relationship of my own here in Nigeria.
Back then, i use to have this silly habit of creating anonymous facebook accounts where i would add people i know and comment on their posts and pictures without them ever knowing i was the one. I dropped many comments back then and one such incident happened to be a time i commented on her close friend's picture, telling her (the friend) she was pretty and how i wanted her. This was almost 10 years ago and i swear i never meant any of those words. It was just a silly joke and i had completely forgotten all that.
My wife returned Nigeria in 2016 and somehow we reconnected and got married in 2018.

Just last week, she stumbled on those posts i made in 2010-2011 and got really heartbroken and upset. Right now, even after pleading with her, she says she wants to quit the marriage. She packed a few of her stuff and travelled home to Abia state from our base in Lagos. So far, what she told her family in the east is that she just came back to visit them for a little while because she couldn't come back during xmas.
Now she's threatening that i won't see my 1 year old son anytime soon cos she's already making plans of relocating abroad for good.


Please my question is this; Do you think this issue is enough to cause this kind of disharmony in our home?

boss go for 05 Honda Crv....the car has many advantages over the 05 rav 4 that has 2Az engine notorious for burning oil. The transmission is not reliable.


The Crv is spacious and very strong and ready to haul loads.

the styling is more beautiful... the Crv can be pimped and it will look more beautiful, but the Rav 4, if pimped, will look stupid....


The Crv is very balanced and very good for traveling with excellent fuel economy, same cannot be said of the Rav4.

those calling second hand value this, second hand value that, please how much is the Toks of an 05 Crv and the 05 rav4. I say to you guys, you obviously not calculated.

the Crv has better ground clearance over the rav 4.

the engine and gear on the Crv will buy only Rav 4's 2az engine.
