Please Gazzuzz, I have an issue with my Toyota RAV4 2004. I was going out some 9 days ago when it suddenly stopped. When you start it, it starts but will not raise well. The first mechanic I called said it was wiring problem, that may be one fuze must have cut. He worked on it without success. Later he said it might be fuel pump. We bought various type of pump, the same problem.

I later towed it from the place when they started dismantling it. The new place that was recommended to me, they checked, change nuzzle, this and that. The motor will start but will not raise well. Now, they claimed it has to be brain box issue, that I have to change it. However, I am doubting then, since it seems they are doing trial and error troubleshooting.

Someone now recommends you to me. Please, how can you be of assistance. The car is presently at Mechanic village, Agidingbi by Zenith Bank.

My budget is N800k and I would have preferred a Camry 2003 but at N800k, you may only get scrap except you are lucky to get from a direct owner.

So I am currently not in town but purchase period is September this year.

For someone with this budget considering that the user would be a first time user, what do you suggest?

Only while accelerating, I do feel some vibration from the front right side of my 2005 EOD.
I have listened carefully, there is no noise; but I feel the vibration from pedal area (not from steering).

Checked online. Suggestions are to check inner or outer CV joints.
Someone here suggested it's probably drive axle or brake disc.
Another suggests it's from shaft.
Mechanic says it's either engine rear seats or from transmission (saying mine does not use shaft). He said to change engine seats first.

Gurus in the house, please advise.

The big truth is that the Lucky individual out of all parties is the driver.. he doesn't have to wait 2years to start reaping TOO

Your ROI starts roughly 10months .. within that period u may have changed drivers twice, had a lay off period to rethink, had a downtime period of 1month or two etc.

Asset may b involved in total loss (insurance will cover to an extent).


The driver comes with basically nothing ... but he is able to take care of needs (defaults happen more because driver also has needs to be taken care of)


The basic truth is every partner goes into the bizness with different plans. Some plans don't look into ROI over long term, some take into consideration what need can I take care of putting my vehicle on e-hailing.


Till you understand what made you venture into e-hailing as an investment, then will you be able to accommodate how u profit/loss account.

Car drives well, in my reckoning nothing is wrong. I bought it Nigerian used. My mech. is relatively well trained parades an array of scanners etc., he says my fan runs directly and my engine has to be de-sludged because the previous owner uses Mobil XHP. He says because of the relatively advanced age of the car engine, he will be changing to Castro (or is it Castor) oil I think 10W-40 that it has some additives something something. He suggests the car cannot use the recommended oil again

I sha don't want the car to come back with any issues which weren't there.

Any advice?

Torque converter clutch is staying applied. Raise the two front tyres off the ground and see what happens. How did this start?

Gazzuzz do customers ever come in to change all hoses and belts as a preventative maintenance or they only come in when shyte goes tits up?

Estimated cost of tyres 50,000. ( new 15k and 5k for used tyres ).

How about Oil change ?

Renewal of Vehicle Papers and insurance?

Then the big monster called depreciation? Provision for wear and tear.

The lucky Partner actually did not make profit in 15months.
