Hello Gazzuzz, pls I have a Highlander I bought Tokunboh 5 months ago. I used it a while before servicing cos d manual stated d vehicle will indicate when it's due for service. Truly, after a while it indicated maintenance required on d dash board. But after d servicing, dat indication refused to go off. Also d tire pressure indicator refused to go off as well. Pls wat do I do? Thanks

Good to finally find someone who has been certified by so many people. So I have this 2011 accord which seems to be dragging on acceleration. Som
e times it drags and sometimes it frees up. Also the fuel consumption seems to be high. from my calculations it consumes 3.5 litres for every 12 miles. What would you recommend I get fixed? Thank you.

I get it. I don't wash my engine that often, maybe once or twice a year depending on its condition. I've never had problems, maybe because the car wash I use know their onions very well. I can't just take my car to some random person to wash the engine.

What are you washing there when plastic has covered everything for you

Well for 1, feel it's an overpriced brand, with too many modules (over 40 in 1 vehicle), I feel you can Get better Value for your money In a Lexus or a Toyota. I also feel the parts are pricey. It is also a vehicle that cannot be worked on by Just any technician, which makes repairs expensive. I remember Driving to Govt house Akure Ondo state a year ago because the front right air suspension of a range went flat and wouldn't come up. (scan revealed a harness on a valve joint was out of place, 5mins later I was done). It also does not look very official to suite your person.

I do not like sensitive vehicles that require constant attention (reason I hate peugeot) simple rugged cars that can accept abuse with minimal consequences are more my kind of thing.

Finally I do not Currently provide support for the Range series, so I Might be biased in my assertions concerning this particular brand.

Mr Gazuzz my baby boy v6 engine suddenly turned off on its own while driving on a highway. (No sign, no nothing, just went off)All dash board lights still come on thou when i on ignition even ac still blows but car wont start(as if there is no fuel) rewire checked he couldnt find anything wrong so i guess he just blamed ignition. i also had him check fuse that has to do with fuel supply and it was intact timing belt also is still intact. What do you think sir?

i did my alignment twice in two different places because the car was swerving to the right by itself.
The condition still persist and the second guy who did the alignment said he can't find a fault.
Please what might be the issue?

Good morning Gazzuzz, pls sometimes my car(baby boy) does hard starting, this could happen at anytime of the day, while one mechanic said it was the oxygen sensor, another said it was the throttle sensor & body, another Airflow meter & yet anoda the cool start. it refused starting this morning, on inspection of the plugs, I discovered 3 out of the 4 had little water in them, while the 4th one was black with carbon deposits. After sun drying the plugs, I put them back and the car started immediately though rough for d 1st 30secs to a minute after which it became smooth. I have also been noticing a short in the coolant level every morning(i use water).

Does the 2007 Avalon have provision for alignment at the back? My rear tires seem to have a wear patten on the inside on both rear tires

Rear

The rear suspension uses a strut with one trailing link and two lateral links. The bushings are the main area of wear, and worn bushings will change the camber and toe, which will produce uneven tire wear. Camber can be adjusted with aftermarket cam bolts. Even negative camber on both sides exceeding 2º can indicate worn springs.

Rear toe adjustments should be performed using both lateral links on each side. Toyota set a specification that says the links should be within 1.5 mm of each other. The toe angles on both sides should be close to equal. Unequal angles may cause unwanted bump steer from the rear wheels. One turn of each adjusting tube will alter toe-in by approximately 1.2°, 10.8 mm (0.425”).
