I have dis issue with Camry 2004 forgot to cover the radiator well and the gasket got burnt and something happen to the engine some how and my mechanic said I will have to buy another engine plz good pple help check and advice on what I need to do

With the pics you attached,I opened the bonnet and was able to identify the parts, infact I had to loose it myself to take a closer look at it. Is it possible for me to get the parts from you sir @ Oga Gazzuzz?,I can fix it myself over here. Thank you.

Dear Auto Gurus,

I drive a Toyota Camry 2001 model 4cyl. The car has no problem whatsoever,however, I have observed that anytime I refill the fuel tank, the car will refuse to start right there at the petrol station.

I usually refill the fuel tank once in a week and have noticed this trend more than 6 times.
In each occasion, I had to constantly press on the throttle pedal while cranking the engine.After few trials, the engine will start and runs normal as if nothing happened until next time I would want to refill,same repeats itself.

Please help with suggestions and way forward.

Hello guys.Hope you are all having a great day.Am gonna need your help on this.
I changed my alternator today after I noticed the ba3 light was on and was hearing a very bad noise when I start the car and when I switch off the engine.the noise is gone now but noticed the check engine light started flashing intermittently while driving with noticeable loss of power occasionally.Prior to the alternator issue,the engine cranks for several seconds b4 starting when the engine is hot but starts almost immediately in the morning. I have changed the fuel pump,the spark plugs and the cold start sensor but problem still persists.
Will appreciate the advise of our car gurus in the house.

I drive a 2004 toyota rav4.last serviced on Sep. 2016 wt Mobil1. I observed recently that the oil pressure indicator flickers whenever engine is driven for abt 2-3hrs during breaking. I have changed the oil switch & oil filter as advised by mechanic but to no avail. I'm so worried now. Experts in the house pls come to my aid!!!

I have never really liked cold water. I prefer cold drinks (of course) but my water must be tepid or room temperature before I can drink it.

Recently, when I changed location I began guzzling cold water and to my chagrin, something weird has started happening to my body.

My ankle joints swell each time I take cold water and the pain that comes with it is not funny. For more than a month I didn't make the connection until I complained to my mum and she told me to stop taking anything cold.

I haven't taken cold water in about 5 days now and I can see the difference. My feet doesn't hurt so badly and the swelling has gone down, although the pain comes and goes without warning.

I have been applying Diclomol and Upheat Plus for the pain but the relief is usually temporary, however it is SLOWLY easing.

My question to the doctors and health practitioners is this: why on earth does cold water cause joint pains? I have been hearing of this for a long time and I never believed I will one day be experiencing it.

Are there remedies that will allow me take my beloved cold water without the attendant side effects?

My ac for my crv stopped working I filled the gas and after 2weeks it Stopped Cooling again. What could be the problem, My mechanic said it's the compressor seal that is leaking and needs to be replaced how true is this.any advice on possible cause and solutions will be greatly appreciated. Tnx

You are boiling your ATF . . if u were able to check the dipstick after it stopped responding to the gas pedal, you
would have seen steam coming out of the dipstick.
Hoping you have not damaged it yet, just do a drain and refill; and you should be fine.

Good morning Bro, I just got a 2009 corolla ( made in south Africa) from a friend. I've been feeling frustrated with the following issues:
1. The car throttles smoothly at rest, but acceleration comes sometimes with slight jerking or sluggish. Sometimes it just picks up and runs smoothly. Once I load the AC it looks like a death sentence on the engine, I have to turn I off to be able to move tho not still very smooth. I forgot to add that it's a manual gear with 1zz engine.
2. The speedometer doesn't work, it writes check abs on the dashboard. I ve changed the speed sensors on the right and left legs, but there is confussion bw my electrician and mechanic as to whether the front shaft is suppose to come wit a abs ring or not. Mine doesn't have.
3. In the mornings my engine makes funny sound like as if oil is not pumping for about a second and stops. Before now, There was one time it lasted for up to 5 seconds and I ve to throttle the car for it to stop, it indicated low oil pressure but stops when the sound stop. I took it to my mechanic and he opened the bottom plate, cleaned the oil pump host that collects oil. He also noticed the metals had injured the crank shaft a little and was not tightly fitted in its casing. I had to buy new metals. Now it doesn't write low oil pressure, the noise has stop, only comes up some mornings for just a second and stops on its on without me throttling the car. This only happens in the mornings, but during the day it doesn't.
I'm contemplating buying a new engine because of number 1 and 3 reasons state above. I live in uyo, akwa ibom state thanks so much

I am using Peugeot 406 and pple have been advising me to always use coolant for my radiator. Pls advise on type of radiator coolant to use or is anyone is ok to buy?

Electrical resistance changes with temperature especially if there are some frail wire that is already losing connectivity ,so electrical issue cannot be rule out cos i have got similar experience before .Also t is easier for the op to start checking the wiring first before start opening the engine up to rule out that possibilities .
But the op can also confirm if there is any rattling noice at start up.
