I want to pay for a Honda Accord car ( Baby Boy) ,since it's Nigeria used, please does anyone here know how to verify a car to know if it was a stolen car, Though it's a friend and colleague that took me to his Auto Mechanic ,whom brought the seller, so in other to get my side covered as i don't want stories that touches . How can i verify if the car is person's car or stolen.

Good people of nl, i have been having issues with my car for some days now and i have tried all i can with my mechanic here but still no solution. My car goes off on motion often and once i start it up, it works immediately and also sometimes when moving, it wont rev well. I scanned it and got this codes P0100,P0325 and P1444. What can i do as this car is my day to day running car. Thanks

The codes point to a faulty Mass airflow meter. You can start by checking that. But since it is Nissan, just replace crank and cam sensors

Good morning sir, I wish I had found your thread earlier , I would have paid you a visit with my Honda accord 2007 4 plugs while in lagos. Anyway, I will sure visit once I return to lagos next month.

I am currently having excessive vibrations on the dash board. I guess that's engine seats right?

Secondly, I have never experienced overheat issues till few days back when a friend used the car to go out and called to tell me the car overheated and smoke was coming out of the bonnet. He checked the radiator after it cooled down and said the water was low. I was surprised about this as I always do routine checks on my fluid levels every weekend and the water was topped the previous weekend.
We took it to a mechanic (I never trust mechanics in Benin and always wait till I return to lagos to do maintenance and repair) he said the radiator has "expired" and we should change it to a double cell for 22k. I asked if I can come back this weekend, He advised I can manage it for the week by always filling the water level every morning.

But i noticed something yesterday, the car temperature remains constant without ac, but whenever you use ac during the hot sun it starts rising after about an hour or two ., switch off the ac and the temperature falls back to normal within 10-20mins. Also it remains constant with Ac in the morning and nights, no temperature rise.


What's your advise sir? Do we have to change the radiator or It just has to do with the ac or something

Replace ya radiator in in benin. Double cell will have no issues, ensure the thermistor at the base of the radiator is transferred from the old one to the new one.

I lost one of my number plates in July last year, 2016 in the flood of the bad section of the Umuahia to Ikot Ekpene high way ( around Ikwuano). I was advised to swear an affidavit and obtain a police report which I did. However few days ago, during a routine police stop and check, an officer asked that I should renew the documents since it's over 6 months. I replied him that I couldn't find any expiry date on any of the documents.

Thanks everyone.. One of my rear tyres was twisted or "wonble" as the vulcaniser called it.. I replaced it temporarily with one of the old tyres I changed..
But please what is the cause twisted tyre, is any defect on the car a factor? Or just defective tyre

a required repair of the engine block, the cylinder head, or a complete engine replacement could be required. When the engine was getting hot and temperature was rising, you shud ave stopped the machine. Coolant has mixed with oil.
You may actually have to buy a new engine.
If i were you, get a second opinion from another mechanic,.
If i were you, fix the vehicle and sell it off cos once you change a cars engine, you sill start battling with other issues.

why are you trying to spoil business for bois in 2017?

The engine she will get will be better than the one that came with the car insha Allah
