My opinion also. Good Nigerians must ask themselves what manner of President is GEJ when he is willing to destroy everything and everyone to get his way. The unity of Nigerians is gone to now be replaced by the sort of ethnic loathing we are told preceded the civil war. All Nigerian institutions are now private servants of the PDP exemplified by the DSS spokesperson ( Marilyn Ogar) who openly convicts the opposition of wrongdoing without any proof whatsoever. The police has become a joke under GEJ used to hound and teargas our number 4 citizen ,i.e Tambuwal, as if he is a criminal.

The Navy is now a glorified errand boy forced to take orders from the illiterate Tompolo. They have now turned on the army as part of a general plan to discredit Buhari. All this desperation is only infuriating Nigerians to make PDP fans and undecided neutrals to now pledge support for Buhari. PDP is showing it is a very evil and wicked entity not at all sorry for its misrule of 16 years. IBB, from all we have seen, was not behind Buhari initially. Now even 'Maradona' has had enough of the disgraceful 'shenanigans' of the PDP. Go figure.

The PDP should go to the poll and take their defeat gallantly. It is just reward for leading a people so horribly for almost 2 decades. It is the payback for creating a nauseating empire of greed and corruption where one President uses ten airplanes and eats N1 billion food annually while most Nigerians do not even have a bicycle and cannot eat one healthy meal per day !!!

Nigerians will resist any attempt to postpone the elections which will be interpreted as an attempt to perpetuate the heartless PDP in power and thus elongate the already unbearable suffering of the masses.

PDP should not even try this crap which is capable of destabilizing a Country already on the brink. The PDP should respect Nigerians and go peacefully rather than try any sit-tight mago-mago that will bring the 'Arab springs' to Nigeria. A word is enough for the wise.

The statement below, after all is said and done, is solid gold. What progress-loving and well-meaning Nigerians must ask themselves is whether we have not given the current government (5 years) and the PDP as a whole (16 years) more than enough time to "prove their worth". After all that time, and putting sentiments aside, do we have even the basics as obtains in all serious nations of the world?

We are still in darkness. We still cannot refine our crude oil endowment optimally to meet domestic use let alone profit as a nation from selling refined derivatives of crude as should befit our status as the 7th largest producer of crude oil in the world. We are still infrastructurally bankrupt. Insecurity is worsening and Nigeria is rapidly becoming Somalia while corruption now seems an untouchable monster. The common verdict for all decent Nigerians is that GEJ and the PDP have failed Nigeria horribly. This level of failure is not indulged for even one year in most nations of the world talk less of the 16 years Nigerians have had to put up with the PDP receiving billions and giving the masses nothing but misery in return. It is now not possible for any decent and balanced Nigerian to vote the PDP in good conscience.

You are totally right to mention tribalism as a core issue because Jonathan, a terrible example of a very sectional and tribalistic President, would not be so comfortable watching so many die in the North if he cares about every Nigerian life. "Chibok kidnapping is a scam" nailed the coffin of GEJ home and abroad. The world stood with France that lost under 20 individuals to terror yet ignored Nigeria that lost around 2000 to the same problem in the same week. The entire world carried #bringourgirlsback# placards for Nigeria but gave up on us when they realised that the Nigerian government does not even care about the Chibok girls and the situation in the North. How the world treated Nigeria over the Baga Boko Haram massacre speaks volumes to sensible Nigerians who must now see what our country has become under GEJ and understand what we must do to rescue our nation from failing totally.

Please act upright for once in your life and stop hiding behind childish mischief. You can support the PDP but that does not mean you must promote and endorse everything the Party does even when you know such is detrimental to the progress of Nigeria. The interest of over 170 million people is greater than the squabbles between two main political Parties.

What is best for Nigerians should take precedence in the mind and thoughts of all enlightened Nigerians. One of the World’s foremost economists, Professor George Ayittey has lashed out at the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GEJ), describing him as “a joke” and a mediocre President after his (GEJ’s) encounter with the media last night.
According to Professor Ayittey, Nigeria “deserves a better leader”, judging by GEJ’s poor, almost unfortunate responses to some of the questions posed to him by the Nigerian media last night.
The Professor indicated that GEJ’s refusal to declare his assets and his failure to tackle the Boko Haram crisis suggest that he is of an unsound mind.

He therefore called on Nigerians to rid themselves of GEJ as soon as possible.
He said: “Nigerians should not put up with such mediocrity and should mount a RECALL GEJ campaign. They should check Chapter VI of their Constitution. See Sections 143 and 144 about removing the President and Vice-President from office other than through elections”.
“137; 1c: “A person shall not be qualified for election to the office of President if under the law in any part of Nigeria, he is adjudged to be a lunatic or otherwise declared to be of unsound mind.”

Professor Ayittey, a Ghanaian economist, author, president of the Free Africa Foundation in Washington DC, professor at American University, and an associate scholar at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, made this known on twitter this morning.

Is this not confirmation of what some of us argued from when GMB squared up to face Kwankwaso, Atiku, Okorocha et al at the APC Primaries? The fact Okupe and other mercenaries do not want to accept is that Nigerians are a fairly simple people. They queued behind GEJ in 2011. You are so correct. Ayo Fayose, by virtue of his past, is someone who should be focused on guiding Ekiti to greater heights if he is a decent human being who has learnt from his mistakes and is now focused on rectifying them. Regrettably for Ekiti folks, it appears that Fayose only confirms the saying "a fool at 40 is a fool forever". We can even amend that saying , because of Fayose's conduct since he became a governor for the second time, to conclude that a thug at 40 is a thug forever.

The next move will be to demand his birth certificate since Buhari, according to the scared and desperate PDP, has now become a Cameroonian or Burkinabe overnight who must be disqualified from running to lead Nigeria.

Does this come from the APC? Let us get real. Whatever our issues in Nigeria, other Countries do not exist to pander to our APC-PDP beef.
