This is the most important message of all: [size=14pt]Consequently, focusing indignation on Western media and not at Aso Rock and those in Abuja who continually demean and degrade Nigerian lives is naïve and does great disservice to the victims of Baga. Because unless we collectively and continuously focus our just and righteous rage at Abuja and root our analysis and critique against the Nigerian government who have allowed the spread of this scourge, the killings and massacres will only continue with impunity." |
theV0ice:I wonder OOOOOhh !!!!!! The PDP has failed to correctly read a very basic aspect of human behaviour which may have helped the Party to reach Nigerians better. When you wrong or disappoint people who risked a lot to place their faith and lives in your hand then you must humbly show regret and contrition, backed with a sincere will to make amends, if you are to ever win the approval or trust of those people. The PDP has let Nigerians down badly. Instead of the leaders of the Party to show humility and a readiness to accept what they did wrong and show they see what must be corrected, the very evil and unrepentant PDP has exclusively focused on arrogantly attacking GMB and running a campaign of calumny and character assassination of a candidate (GMB) and his Party (APC) that has zilch to do with the serious problems Nigeria is facing today. If it is not a silly certificate distraction that disgraces Nigeria universally, given that Buhari is a decorated soldier that has contested the Presidential election thrice, they are lying wickedly that Buhari is unwell. Disgusting. This is behavioral human psychology 101 and I am shocked the PDP does not have leaders bright enough to fathom this concept and how much it can hurt the chances of the Party at the polls !!! The arrogant and unrepentant PDP has now killed itself by not recognising that even the most prodigal of sons can be forgiven if he shows genuine remorse for his actions. What has turned Nigerians off is how a Party that has caused so much deaths, poverty and pain remains so arrogantly disinterested in respecting the people. PDP leaders, because looting our treasury is all they are after, still do not understand that they must deploy an approach centred around placating the ordinary men and women they failed. The approach of making Buhari appear unelectable has backfired horribly . More Nigerians now feel the arrogant PDP is an evil, callous and unrepentant Party with nothing to offer. Buhari has profited massively from this wicked and evil approach of a ruling Party that has failed the people and has no business showing nothing other than complete humility before the Nigerian people. |

ilugunboy:Don't let these small-minded charlatans get to you. No blackmail will make Nigerians vote for the continuation of GEJ's rule which has been nothing other than a terrible nightmare for most Nigerians especially those who voted for him in 2011. |
Wow !!!! Even the most die-hard GEJ fan will admit, at this stage, that Jonathan and the PDP may face annihilation at the polls. As at when I visited the site and voted a few minutes ago the results were GMB 44, 643 and GEJ 4,891. It is not a misprint people . Buhari is leading GEJ by almost 40.000 votes. Even I did not expect this stupendously large margin which probably confirms that the negative and vicious campaign of the PDP, when the PArty had asked for "issue-based campaign from APC, has turned many Nigerians off GEJ and the PDP completely. |
Dbboy:Even indulging you for a minute, do you now suggest GEJ is the 'Robin Hood' of the SS who is completely allowed to rob the rich elite , i.e the North in your opinion, and bestow the stolen wealth on the poor /downtrodden i.e the SS according to you? Everything GEJ is doing is fair and justified because of your claim against the North which, in reality, is accusation affecting a small number of self-serving folks whose action does not speak for or represent the North? Thank you for confirming that you see the Presidency as a tool of ethnic vengeance and a tool for 'settling scores'. With the way you guys are talking and with all that has transpired, can you make a legitimate argument for producing the President of Nigeria now or in the future given that you think it is justifiable for the masses (the real victim of the theft and corruption of GEJ) to suffer just so the SS can get even with some elite from the North who did what they did for themselves alone? Now that GEJ is 'settling scores' for you guys, are you and ordinary folks of the SS personally better off or is it exactly the usual elite-driven aggrandizement of a small number of people same as obtained with the corrupt and self-serving actions of the Northerners you condemn? Are Tompolo, Asari-Dokubo, Allison-Madueke, General Boyloaf, Orubebe etal sharing their 'loot' with you? Have you even gotten a single small and well-equipped health care centre out of any of them? What of the NDDC (Niger Delta Development Commission) that chose to loot your wealth instead of using it to develop the SS as directed? What has the unpatriotic actions of those "sons of the soil" who lead the NDDC got to do with the North? You are willing to support this injustice against your own people and the underdevelopment of your region because of your perception GEJ is looting what "belongs to the SS" tat others should be deprived of? Continue letting vainglorious desire for vengeance you do not benefit from poison your heart and blind you to the obvious which is that Nigeria just needs a President, wherever he is from, who will passionately work for and be on the side of all Nigerians wherever they may come from. |

Sentiments aside, we all know Jonathan is the biggest enabler of theft and monumental corruption in the petroleum sector. He hands over pipeline protection contract to militants who are nothing but glorified oil thieves and then completely binned the Ribadu petroleum task force report which gave solid and urgent recommendation aimed at stemming the theft, income loss and corruption in the petroleum sector. Jonathan also directly handed marketers licence to scammers with no capacity or expertise to engage in oil importation. This was what led to the over-invoicing scam which gave rise to the biggest fuel subsidy fraud in the history of Nigeria !!! Under GEJ, the NNPC which was always corrupt is now probably best described as an organisation of brazen armed robbers making billions of dollars disappear like the best 'abracadabra' trick. Tinubu is being conservative in his accusation against GEJ. The truth, supported by many direct evidence, is that GEJ is brazen corruption and irresponsible theft personified. Nigeria will see a world of difference once this terrible and accidental leader is voted out. |
Princewill1:You and others who think like you are just fooling yourselves and other gullible folks. Every Nigerian has the fundamental right to vote and be voted for. If Buhari wins he will be President and it is as simple as that. Many did not want Fayose to lead Ekiti but upright and fair folks conceded democratically that he is the choice of the people. Fayose is now Governor of Ekiti in a tacit illustration of the beauty of democracy. Fair-minded and genuinely democratic men and women know that democracy is not something you subscribe to partially, in support of a personal interest, only to then reject when you dislike a candidate unreasonably. Same way you hate Buhari and speak based on your own personal bias is how many are vehement he must be President. This is why we must all go to the polls, cast our votes and submit ourselves to the electoral will of the majority. |
masterpower:Can't you ethnocentric cretins do without mentioning "Yoruba" for a second? What has the Yoruba ethnic group got to do with this topic? |
Seeing this brings to my mind the saying "the only thing constant in life is change". Only four years ago Nollywood big names were all behind behind GEJ unanimously. Buhari was totally shunned back then by Nollywood and our musicians. Today the reality is very different. I believe our entertainers, like most Nigerians, are no longer interested in GEJ because their lives have gone backwards under him. This is the truth and reality TANdroids cannot spin with their bogus tales of "achievements" no one can see or feel. Nigerians from all sectors, including many who had campaigned for GEJ in 2011, are now coming out to fight for Febuhari change because their lives has been filled with pain, disappointment, death, deprivation and suffering for the past four years. Security na pafuka. Electricity = privatisation 419. Nigerians now dying like chickens with the world totally disinterested. Corruption is now 'lord and master' competing for territory with Boklo Haram. In short it is "Nigeria jaga jaga" under GEJ. It is normal to seek a change of such a horrid status quo. |
olapluto:I agree with you. All this because Nigeria is cursed to have so many 'enemies within' who would do anything to glorify their oppresors and prolong their own suffering. Very sad. Goodness always win in the end and GMB will win to reposition NIgeria and place her on the path of greatness. |
shizzle11:Are they not fine girls? The GEJ ship is sinking. When are you joining team GMB on the train of destiny with final stop Aso Rock ? |
philips70: No more 'browsing allowance' for TANdroids after May 2015. This is a warning to all TANdroids. Let those who have ears listen and listen very well. |
Prophessor: ![]() Do you actually believe what you wrote above or you are just consoling yourself with some good old self-deceit? The North is for Buhari and even the most rabid fan of GEJ know and accept this. This is the reason TANdroids have now focused on the SW, with their scaremongering and lying propaganda, in the belief they may get some 'change' from the region since they know majority of the North is a Buhari no-go-area for the PDP. Good to dream sha but you will have to wake up sooner or later and return to earth from la la land. |
PassingShot:Nigga is in serious pain. I actually feel sorry for him. So many people with only pain and negativity in their lives. Very obvious with how they rant frustratedly even when there is no need for such. See awon 'omo ele' and yet all some frustrated hacks can do is bark like rabid dogs. |
obowunmi:My friend, your mind can be the greatest 'prison' impeding your development if you choose to 'malnourish' it with ignorance and unobjective bitterness always. Your mind can also be a fantastic enabling tool that will allow you to become like Ajimobi if you develop, educate and nourish it. Google is your friend. There is no excuse for ignorance in this day and age. Go and look into the history of Ajimobi to see he is not a man who would ever struggle to send his children to the finest schools available. If you can come here to ungraciously and ignorantly castigate a self-made leader like Ajimobi , given his outstanding history as a very successful and top level technocrats, then who exactly should join Nigerian politics according to you? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiola_Ajimobi Abiola Ajimobi. |
omenka:Bruv, don't let it get to you too much. Most of these guys are wretched losers in real life. They are frustrated and in pain. They must blame someone for their failures and inadequacies rather than look at themselves honestly and brainstorm progressively about how to make themselves better human beings who can win at the game of life. Most of these riff-raffs, as the picture expose thingy revealed, are not fit to lace your shoes and you probably would not even employ them as your houseboy. Best to remember that cheap broadband and mobile browsing now unites successful and happy people with frustrated, koboless and hateful losers. |
shizzle11:These children of pain and anger sha. Do you guys ever take a break from hating something or someone? This is not a topic for your hateful slurs. At least have the decency to try and wait for an appropriate topic to spew the hateful venom that is always dying to come out of your frustrated and vengeful mouth. @Topic. Beautiful girls. Ajimobi is blessed and on course to break the Oyo Gubernatorial 'second term curse'. ![]() |
wheredemdey:You should respect yourself and , most importantly, others to then refrain from two-faced deceit. Why not act like a man and stand behind your utterances and come out openly to represent your corner at all times? You claim in the post above "I believe we are all here to learn regardless o0f our political affiliations" yet are you not the same poster that conclusively damned the APC as "elitist"? When you made the post below did you sound like an objective 'neutral' who is here "to learn irrespective of political affiliation" or did you sound like someone with a bias against the APC? I don't know how some of you expect others to respect you when you cannot even stand behind your conviction and must begin acting in a two-faced manner once challenged. It is okay to be against a Political Party and to make that known to the world. This 'neutral' bullcrap you guys pull out when confronted is shameful. wheredemdey: |
oduastates:Indeed. They are not even ashamed. From London to Ghana through Lagos, the APC is teaching a so-called ruling Party the fundamentals of effective and issue-based campaigning while the PDP focuses on mudslinging, market gossip and ameboism. This alone is enough to show objective and progressive Nigerians the Party with the superior intellect, talent and personnel to take Nigeria to the next level and beyond. |
icebeatz:Please don't mind them. They have sworn to sink with the incompetent and ultra-corrupt GEJ. To that end they can never see anything good in whatever the APC does to connect with Nigerians and sell their plans to the electorate. It is the likes of the poster you responded to, now claiming APC is "elitist", who accused Osinbajo of "Insincerity" when the APC VP candidate boarded BRT buses to engage ordinary Nigerians. Abeg ignore them. It sucks to be an enemy of progress and a backward element given to resisting positive change. |
cjrane:This is how unbelievably unintelligent and village-like you ethnocentric and clannish Jonathanians are. Do Nigerians all wake up, pick up their mail and leave their homes at precisely the same time? Could the house across the road not have taken their own APC campaign leaflet earlier when the first person to leave or visit the house went out or came in respectively? Is it not best to just remain silent sometimes than contribute posts that reveals you are a grade A dullard who should be seeking further education rather than contributing here? |
patrickmuf:Buhari's approach to campaigning is even enough to show Nigerians he is better, by far, to lead Nigeria. While Buhari addresses the issues Nigerians are worried about GEJ is running around saying petty and inconsequential nonsense like his lame talk of "Buhari cannot remember his phone number". When some of us, at around half of Buhari's age or less, cannot remember our phone number what the hell is the petty and off-topic GEJ then yapping about? While Buhari talks about job creation and adequate welfare package for Nigerians the tout Fayose is busy scaremongering Nigerians with the inane suggestion that OBJ is "foisting" Buhari on us so that Osinbajo can take over. The behaviour of the PDP is silly, petty and disgraceful. Buhari and the APC should remain focused and concentrate on issues that relate to the progress and development of Nigeria. Let PDP remain in their gutter of mudslinging, market gossip, wild fabrications and personality-focused politics. |
seangy4konji:Of course. Nigeria has it as bad as possible and it is up to us to show the world that Nigerians are not mad as per the assertion of Einstein who stated that “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”. We have done things the PDP way for 16 years to the detriment of Nigeria. We owe it to ourselves, our children and generations unborn to give change a chance for even only 4 years. |
While those who have nothing to sell their candidate on prefer to talk about GMB daughter's handbags Buhari is forging ahead and winning support by revealing what he will do to uplift Nigeria. Time for 'change'. Time for GMB and the APC. http://www.punchng.com/news/buhari-pledges-to-revive-ajaokuta-steel-company/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Buhari pledges to revive Ajaokuta Steel Company |
Exactly as many of us argued while TANdroids and their oga countered that "stealing is not corruption". http://www.osundefender.org/?p=206070 What Soldier Said About Corruption In Nigerian Military – A MUST READ |

Change2015:You are absolutely correct. Many are supporting GEJ because they feel he represents the best chance for a continuation of the 'free for all' looting these enemies of progress are enjoying. These selfish folks will regret their choice once GEJ is deposed because it will be obvious they have gambled and lost everything. |
NRIPRIEST:You are only describing you and yours. Do you know the damage GEJ has done already that the Yorubas feel duty-bound to correct as a people who contributed to him becoming President with their votes in 2011? If you are a reasonable person why not just conclude that the Yorubas have given GEJ a chance and now have the right to opt for someone else because of the failure of GEJ and that alone? You guys are so unreasonable, hateful and bigoted you expect the rest of us to abide with the very dangerous and failed President you have chosen to sink with because of religious and ethnic hatred of others. The Yorubas are not the one putting Nigeria in danger. We are not the ones who are irresponsible . We are not the ones who do not care that many, many thousands of innocent Nigerians have died under this government with no justice for those lost souls till date. We are not the ones whose first reaction to the Chibok kidnapping was to jump blindly behind GEJ by shockingly proclaim to the world that "Chibok kidnapping is a scam". Your penchant for blatantly dishonest revisionism, where you cast others as villains and hold yourself to be pious and godly, is disgusting. The GEJ years did not happen 50 years ago like the civil war which came before many of us were born. We all witnessed events under GEJ to know precisely who did what. You are shameless trying to revise history that is only a few years old in your ethnocentric effort to cast Yorubas as villains. Kindly spare us your wholesale dishonesty, brazenly shameless revisionism, bigoted myopia, lies and insults against the Yoruba ethnic group. Simply go and vote for your GEJ and let others vote their choice. |
