Have you now woken from your delusional dream to accept reality? Yeye dreamer. GMB all the way to Aso rock !!!!! |
BRAV0O:Buhari has a date with destiny just like America's Abraham Lincoln and Ghana's Atta-Mills |
soroptimist:Bro, I am dedicating this 'modified' Idris tune, which really riled OBJ, to those haters and vile enemies of Nigeria's progress. Buhari is here to 'scatter scatter' the cabals and private-jet criminal army GEJ has helped to grow. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=316q477BSR4 Nigeria Jagajaga Poor man dey Gbosa,gbosa ![]() |
Mr.Man, stop spamming the forum with your Buhari lamentation threads. Buhari has won fairly to emerge as the choice of APC delegates who are the pertinent stakeholders in this case. If you are unhappy then go and d.. abeg. |
Iroh88:Well, you make your bed and you lie in it. Rather than face the business of Governing Ekiti, Fayose is always to be found acting as the campaign manager for GEJ. It is ludicrous and Nigerians, whatever Party they support, should condemn this behaviour because we all live in States that need effective leadership and not in Aso Rock. Fayose should face the affairs of Ekiti squarely if indeed he has anything to offer the good folks of the State. |
onatisi:What political position is OBJ seeking which will warrant his defection? At his age and for what he has achieved I think it is easier for OBJ to operate in the background of partisan politics without anyone knowing where his allegiance lies. Fayose is trying too hard to impress GEJ with his senseless 'Rambo' style which does nothing but get him and his affiliates into trouble sooner or later. |
barcanista:Not only Lagos my brother. Of all SW Governors Tinubu helped to power, it is only Aregbesola that can perhaps be viewed as a sagacious political player. Fashola, Ajimobi, Fayemi and Amosun are all entirely about administrative governance. |
barcanista:Indeed. I think Fashola and Tinubu will always be fine because both are motivated by different things that are not mutually exclusive or damaging to their relationship. Tinubu was a competent and visionary Governor whose administrative talent was stifled by the vengeful OBJ Presidency yet it is as a political Godfather and kingmaker that Tinubu came into his own fully. Fashola, on the other end, is entirely about administrative focus and efficiency. Fashola does not have the guile or brawn to be a politician Nigerian-style. To that extent their relationship works as a mutually respectful one. As with every relationship there may be rifts and misunderstandings now and then but these get resolved in the end because the two men involved are relatively intelligent, pragmatic and reasonable. |
This Ayo Fayose is so unrefined and uncouth. Always has been and always will be. Jonathan is desperately seeking to build bridges to aid his 2015 ambition, via sending peace emissaries to OBJ, and Fayose is foolishly destroying everything with his uncouth and bellicose 'motor-mouth'. Good for the APC that the SW PDP is full of uncontrollable, politically unintelligent and impulsive thugs like 'Korobucci', George, Fayose et al. Fayose is beginning to 'pay back' GEJ for the trust the naive President reposed in this ultra-divisive and destructive character to be his 2015 SW 'garrison commander'. |
OrlandoOwoh:Unfortunately, the tag of cowardice will stick to Lamido same as an animal who is always in the mud with Pigs will be called a Pig also. Do we forget 2010 so soon when Lamido was a vociferous opponent to GEJ's Presidential ambition only to then turn champion campaigner for Jonathan because of how selfish personal ambition made him believe supporting GEJ, against his innate conviction and original posture, means he would have a clear path to 2015? Lamido swallowed the "I will do one term" promise of GEJ and based all his actions on this insincere pledge GEJ had no intention of abiding with. GEJ has now blatantly let Lamido and others down but we continue to see the lack of spine Lamido operates with because something else (corruption exposure against him and his family) is now holding him hostage today when he contradicted himself in 2011 and let many down because of personal ambition. It is obvious to many that there will always be one thing or the other to use in whipping Lamido in line as is always the case for unprincipled characters and charlatans. Laughable that Lamido now wants to portray himself a man who act in the interest of the greater good of Nigeria when intelligent political analysts will know his actions and capitulation shows an unprincipled character willing to follow the direction of the wind so long as that aids the pursuit of his personal agenda. |
FastShipping:Indeed. Unfortunately for Lamido, things have changed immensely to leave his self-serving calculations in tatters. Lamido is now viewed with cynicism by many of his peers. He appears to lack conviction and ,like Governor Aliyu, is another 'turncoat' character always playing to the gallery by saying what people want to hear yet perpetually lacking the character to 'walk the walk'. Politically, Lamido is now caught between a rock and a very hard place. |
PentiumPro:Just ignore posters like that. Many come here to say what they wish to see and not what reality indicates is likely to happen. |
brownlord:So that is the Nigeria you want? A place where law-abiding citizens are locked up for calling a man the name he invited Nigerians to call him if a certain outcome does not come to pass? Bros, move along. This thread is not for you. Join us in calling Okupe a bastard, because that is the only option available, or clear off. Okupe the fatso put himself in this position. It must be the billion dollar food dropping from his Oga's table that has bamboozled his senses. Never forget the saying "act in haste repent at leisure". Okupe the charlatan now has to repent at leisure. It will even be worse for the fat "bastard" if GEJ is thrown out of Aso Rock next year. |
arewafederation:Their Oga has now himself turned into the joker-king of empty promises ![]() |
arewafederation:I know but I was going to follow it up with the article below which is pertinent to 2015 and the failure of the paymaster Okupe serves so diligent to the point of lying to Nigerians just to launder the image of his ultra-corrupt and equally deceptive boss. As we all know, 2014 is around 25 days from joining past calender world history. Can "stable electricity" then be achieved in the next 25 days or is lying "fat bastard" Okupe about to be disgraced again? Your guess is as good as mine. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/okupe-apc-will-crumble-and-disappear-by-2014/145805/ Okupe: APC will Crumble and Disappear by 2014 |
joseph1832: A Party that is almost 2 years old? Bro, are you from Jupiter or Mars? Perhaps there is another APC where you come from that is different to the APC below.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Progressives_Congress All Progressives Congress |
In OBJ's voice "we dey laff". APC has not only survived more than a year but the Party has got the PDP and its fans peeing themselves. I guess the new name Okupe himself asked us to call him is "bastard". Since he is a fatso, we might as well make it Doyin "fat bastard" Okupe. ![]() http://www.osundefender.org/?p=198319 “If APC survive One year, call me a bastard” – Doyin Okupe |
@OP. You are always working yourself up over nothing. Fashola is more a technocrat than a politician. Tinubu is not only one of the most brilliant political strategists in Nigeria but he is also a consummate political godfather and kingmaker. When you learn the difference between Tinubu and Fashola and are able to put issues in perspective then you will not come here ranting rabidly against Fashola. |
cocoduck:Please try and speak as if you are exposed and know what obtains beyond Nigeria. Harsh criticism of the ruling Party ,especially if it is failing the people seriously as is the case with Nigeria, is not unique to our nation. Yet people like you, unique to Nigeria, must always embrace sentiments to insinuate that justified and passionate criticism of an ultra-failed Presidency is a personalised attack against GEJ rather than a struggle to agitate always for what is in the best interest of 170 million Nigerians. |
This is very careless talk from Clark. It will only heat up an already very hot polity. No one is planning to assassinate a President Nigerians themselves are ready to take out with their vote. |
Now that it is officially confirmed, I heartily congratulate Ambode and wish him success in the main election. Congratulations to the APC for conducting a highly transparent , free and fair gubernatorial primaries. Hamzat put up a good showing and must be commended . Same for all others who took part. Alas there must be a winner and it is in this spirit all those who did not win should submit themselves to this commendably open and transparent development to get behind Ambode for the glory of Lagos and the APC. |
barcanista:I think the General has settled on Fashola and he may push forward with that choice if he wins which I am fairly sure will be the case. So far, Buhari has not been cowered or intimidated by the religious Hawks in the APC who are insisting it must not be a Muslim-Muslim ticket. The General wants Fashola to be his VP and is personally convinced that running with the Lagos Governor is his best chance of winning. |
My brother, this is why I said nada throughout yesterday when folks talked up their various choices for the APC ticket because I knew it would not even be close. I had already stated it here previously that Ambode would win and that he would win convincingly regardless of the strength of those facing him. One thing a lot of people do not know and never account for is that Tinubu is a master at what happens before an election i.e planning and negotiating to win. This is where the man is head and shoulders above everyone else. When his candidate then emerges the winner people will begin talking of "one man show" and "imposition" without giving Tinubu credit for his very difficult behind-the-scene work he always puts 150% into. The man is not a crude bully as many seem to think and he has a hand in majority of the positives the APC is witnessing including, as one example, the defection of Tambuwal and his eventual emergence as the APC gubernatorial candidate of Sokoto. What is not known or made public about Tinubu is far, far more than interesting and pleasantly surprising than what people think they know of the man. |

Marotzke:My friend, there is no one I use harsh word for on Nairaland who does not deserve it one way or the other. This place is full of cowardly e-agberos and bigots who insult others without provocation only to the begin whining when they get similar in return. If you never insult me then I will never insult you whatever party, religious faith or ethnic group you belong to. As simple as that. |
tjpoet: Come on dude. Listen to yourself and ask if you are making any sense at all. |
