Hello everyone,
I received my TRV yesterday. To God be the glory. Here is d timeline and documents submitted;
After i was denied based on personal assets, low financial support and purpose of visit,on 10th december , 2015, i refired on feb 8 2016
I submitted,
1. The imm forms
2. Sworn affidavit of support by my sponsor (mother)
3. Sponsor's land docs (3), soa of 10mill and my land doc (1), soa 600k and vehicle particulars.
4. Sponsors CAC document
5. Letter of introduction for d sponsor.
6. My work id card, school receipt of CD4300 (half payment) , birth cert, upfront medicals, intl passport , tax clearance, pay slip for 3 months and employment letter.
7. Sop stating my purpose, reason for studying and funds available.
8. Prayer.....

Did biometrics feb 8
Medical passed update april 29th
Passport request may 5th and submitted may 6th
Collected my passport May 10th.
To God be the glory...

The difference between my two applications were just my soa, payslips, land and vehicle docs and a beta sponsor's soa.
@royat and all those who were denied based on similar reasons like mine, pls take note and be prayerful. Na Gods favour b koko.

Having collected my TRV, pls i want to ask if i must balance my school fees b4 travelling and how much should i hold with me? I am going for my masters in uni. of ottawa, hopefully june 6. Abeg, people should advice me ooo.

Halleluya, i'm also sharing d good news ooo. Just this afternoon i received a mail. Lo and behold, na passport request ooo. Apart from d passport and d letter, what else do i need to take along? Is there any fee involved? I did online oooo. Is the TRV sure?

I have submitted my application since 29 of January this year and did my biometrics the following week but up till now am yet to receive medical call or any other message. And by my calculation the application is now about 2 Months and 8 days ....Can anyone please shed more light for me on this as it is seriously disturbing me.

I applied for M.eng mechanical engineering, and i have 3 yrs work experience in mechanical engineering. Which was well detailed in my SOP

Its ok. U will b given admission. It take 8wks after dey have received all ur documents b4 u hear from dem. Just relax and put it in God's hand

Nawa ooo, submitted second online application with medicals since feb 8, did biometrics feb 9 and still nothing has changed. My biometric portion still reads " not needed at this time" and also my medicals. Should i be worried ?

Call the clinic and explain to them. They will send u an information sheet. While applying, among the question u will b asked is if u have had medicals with any cic approved clinic say yes and then in ur application page, a portion whr dat info sheet will b attached will b created. This is if u r applying online. I did d same

U don't need to worry. I applied for d same course and given admission. Just relax and submit. Since its course based, u don't need to look for supervisor. So just wait till deir final decision is taken. If u still doubt, u can call them. Hope dis helps. Take care

Hi, I am also applying to uottawa, M.Eng Mechanical, course based. I noticed that they'll require me to fill a preference form as one of the documents to be submitted. There's somewhere in the form where I need to select professors I want them to send my file to. However, since I'm applying for a courier based program, I didn't contact any supervisors. What program are u applying for? Can u b of help if you had the same challenge.

I will implore you to tackle the(3 reasons) for your previous denial ,get the necessary documents. Letter of explanation,is just ordinary letter. You will just need to explain all the new documents you missed in previous application,and you trying to add to this New application. You can itemize it and make it brief.
On medical, i think is off no use again... I stand to be corrected "House".

Hello house, i am planning on submitting my application by next week. I am a second applicant as i was denied the first time based on purpose of visit and personal asset/financial status.
Pls, i want to know if i need to write loe inaddition to my sop or just one of it. If loe, can u pls send me a copy so dat i can use d format in writing mine.
Also, i want to know how i can go about my medicals since my last application was just last year october.do i have to do a new one? And if no, hw do i go about it?
