Is a true believer a regular church goer or someone who believes and follows the teachings of CHRIST. I know I have read the bible over and over again particularly the teachings of JESUS CHRIST, but I have never seen a place where JESUS mentioned the necessity of going to a particular place, church/mountain/synagogue, in fact when CHRIST met the Samaritan woman by the well, he told her that the day is coming where true worshipers will neither go to Jerusalem or the mountains or Samaria, but will worship GOD in Spirit and truth.
From the teachings of JESUS, worshiping in Truth means LOVE (Love GOD with all your heart and soul, love your neighbour/humanity as yourself). Off course GOD is Spirit and the same GOD dwells in all of us, whether you are a Christian/Moslem/Hindu. So to worship in spirit means withdrawing from self and ego to search inwards and know the indwelling GOD. The GOD In whom we live, move and have our being.
Nevertheless, if you going to church daily makes you express love for all beings and love for GOD and also makes you feel good and happy, by all means go to church, but don't condemn those who have grown those who don't see any reason to go to church in order to love GOD or humanity, they will rather do it the way in the way they deem fit, they may have attained a higher knowledge.

I really appreciate your post...but, if any true believer discovered any truth in the bible and the truth he discovered make him forsake the gathering of Christians he is just deceiving himself....whatever the truth he discovered is meant for the development of the church not in going against the church.... though wee know many churches are of the synagogue of Satan, that's where a. real believer we truly show that kind of church that greater is in me than he that is in the world. you all claimed Jesus did not ask us to go to church, first go and do much study on temple, did Christ forsake the temple because he knows the truth? then do much study on the meaning of the Kingdom of God Christ prayed for.…..then do ur study on the earth, and world, and why the devil is called prince of this world....many truth to know.....and meanwhile I didn't condemn anybody with my post..read again and search for the meaning of condemnation.

No. 2, many people go to church and think they are real believers but fact is they are not. I don't know who you are but if I should guess I think even you are not real believer. Why?? I will advice the sleeping virgin Christians to awake and happily go to Church to add oil to their lamps. Be like David that goes to the house of God with gladness....I pray that we will not miss that glorious kingdom of Christ (amen).

I have read many comments of the so called Christians that are fed up with Church, if you are among them, you should know that you get fed up because you don't define your purpose of going to Church. The truth is when you read the scripture and you discovered the truth, you may be tempted never to go to Church again, because you will see where your pastor or leaders in church are not perfect but when you know and understand that you are not following any man of God or any Apostle, you will overlook their imperfections, .....when you really know that you follow Christ only the Faith of Him that is perfect. you don't follow Paul neither do you follow Apollo, the method Apollo can plant may be different from the perspective of Paul in planting but they both sha plant..you follow Christ as a Christian, you are Christ-like not Paul-like or Peter-like but of Jesus-like. you don't really have excuse.

there are many ways, especially to those that have study the scripture deeply....we should understand that non of the characters in the Bible are perfect at the beginning except Jesus Christ and Christ himself still denied people calling him a good teacher....

we learnt from each character because many of them at a time made many mistakes, we read about them to really detect their mistake not to make the same mistake again. but now a days many so call spiritual Christian or those that went to school of pastors are so full of themselves, forgetting the place and essence of Holy Spirit, they relied on what they were taught rather than the deep revelation that goes inline with the scripture...if we study Paul very well, Gal1. he taught base on the revelation he received not on what his teacher taught him....we should never forget the place of Holy spirit but when we are full of ourselves, Holy spirit cannot operate.....

then we should always examined our attitude and respond to the gospel....I'm I really working towards bringing unity to the body of Christ or causing more disunity......we shouldn't be eaten up with the issue of denominational doctrine.

then checking ourselves with the fruit of the spirit, if I'm claiming to be spiritual, I'm I really exhibiting the fruit of the spirit? the one we notice we have not be functioning in it, how are we working towards it in prayer?
