You are on point! Depression is one sickness people don't pay attention to. Lots of people are depressed because of the economic hardship and other factors. This is an indication of the status of the country.

Everyone has a threshold beyond which they break.

Some it's as "little" as a lover cheating on them...others failing JAMB.

These might sound ridiculous or petty but it's hard to wear their shoes.

Lets just offer our sympathies and move on.

Is funbactA bad for newborn?

It's very bad. During antenatal, Dr will advise that you shouldn't use it more than recommended days... It's a drug for the skin. Using it more than advised days, becomes overdose

But come to think of it, if there's no God, why are there MORALS. Why is it that it is bad to kill, to steal, to lie, to cheat. If there was no supreme being (God), then there's no penalty for doing evil. People shouldn't av morals

So on this basis, I think this is a simple reason to see that there is truly a God there.

Religion is a system of government used to enforce law and orderliness at home and in the society

I have the same doubt as well... I always ask myself a question." What would be the greatest disappointment to human race?" What usually come to mind is if there is no God, judgment day, heaven or hell. However, the way people preach about this God may be different as you said. I've personally embarked on morality and loving my fellow men because we may never see after death.

Marriage is like a dark room and wedding is the key to the room. If you are lucky enough you'll see light and if you're unlucky, the light bulb will not come on. courting for 20 years is not guaranteed that you will have a successful marriage. I knew my wife for 7yrs, dated and courted for 3yrs, yet our marriage nearly crashed in 2 weeks to the extent that she passed out on new year eve because of pressure.
However, my advice for op is that, the couple will come back after this tragedy and they'll value each other better. Wish them luck.

I graduated from Unilorin 2007. The harassment seem more now. I know one badoo for computer science( Babatunde), he chop more than 10 babes(different classes) in my set alone. I also heard of some bad lecturers in microbiology and Biochemistry. Government really need to protect students from the bad lecturers. The only carry over I had was as a result of the wickedness of some people in mathematics dept. I passed exam, dem say I too pass am... So dey made me carry it. God dey!

Swissheart:
I understand how you feel l and I must say you are a great teacher. I have handled some kids like that in the past though at secondary level. Firstly you have to introduce motivation for any normal good performance which ordinarily you wouldn't appreciate. Like whenever he packs his things home well...... .. Praise him in the presence of his mates " Class clap for Daniel, he copied all his notes and arranged it properly in his bag...... Weldone my boy". He will always love to impress you and gradually you will get the best outta him.
Challenge him to work......... Mofe if you copy this note I am about to write in time.... I'll give you erm erm erm something blah blah.
Talk to his parents..... They should involve him at home, they get him educative toys, charts and boards. A private teacher won't be a bad idea

Finally Love him, pamper him and dont get tired of trying. Pls pray for him too.

Nice suggestion! Please you can ask him to join a drama group and that will help him a lot. You can also advise the parent to help him socialize by dancing in a party and involve him in sporting activities.
