acidtalk: MOST DANGEROUS JOBS IN NIGERIAmy job is by far d most dangerous, i,m a telecoms engineer installing for virtually all gsm operators,oftentimes i work on a tower as high as 120m fixing very large radio microwaves as much as 3m,2.4m,1.2m and 1.8m microwaves dish,bros it,s no childsplay working at that height,payment in Nigeria is very poor compared to other countries, some chaps i,ve worked alongside with have fallen off from such height,some survived some are dead now, we are not even insured, my girlfriend once paid a visit to site,she saw me working at that height, she wept and kept asking if this is how i make my money?till date i refused to tell my mum d nature of my job, bros my job is a constant romance with death daily. 1 Like |

Yet they go about wrecking havoc. In the entire muslem world they are crying wolf over Israeli attack on Gaza, ignoring the obvious that hamas drew the first blood by firing rockets into Israeli, in Palestine we have both FATAH and HAMAS group, so how come moderate FATAH is able to live in peace with Israel? The plane crash involving the taraba state gov and aides is stale news, i wish him and his aides a speedy recovery, for those of u who dont know, it,s a short distance from jalingo the taraba state capital to yola the adamawa state capital by road, there is just one problem that impedes vehicular movement on that road,it,s d deplorable state of the road, believe me it,s not a very pleasurable trip, if u are used to potholes then be prepared for deep craters on that road, how much will it cost taraba/adamawa govt to fix dat road? If that road was motorable i guess the taraba state gov would not have flown thus landing in a bush, the ex vp owns one of d most expensive universities in the country situated in yola, atiku also owns savannah sugar factory located on gombe/yola road, this road is also in a mess, i,m wondering, what do our leaders do with all their loot? Can't they at least use a fraction of this loot to better the lives of the masses in their states? [color=#006600][/color] |

Those paying there tithes are building schools to help improve the standard of education, and buying jets to aid evangelical exploits while some jobless people spend all their time on Nairaland criticizing them. Those paying are not complaining and nobody forced you to pay.nice one, the federal universities in this country how many are well equipped and meet international standard? If lecturers decide to go on strike the govt is less perturbed cos their kids dont school in Nigeria, i commend oyedepo for his efforts to sanitise the educational sector, my only stress with these missionary universities springing up everywhere is the exorbitant fees, i know the cost of building materials has skyrocket, coupled with payment of lecturers and utilities, i pray they cut down the fees so it,s affordable to church members who are not so rich, since it,s a public institution other nigerians would also want their children to attend such schools, i thank all the pastors for their tireless efforts to clean the rot in our educational sector, pls covenant university,babcock university and redeemers university, reduce ur fees, i know it,s not easy to maintain a university but make it affordable |
