Also to tahnk other forumites for your wonderful contributions to this success story of mine. I want you guys to know that you are very important and beleive that when God is involved in a thing he will always create an avenue to ensure that that thing comes out successful especially when we rely absolutely on Him and not our own strenght. I had so many quetions in my mind after receiving ma 2NL, but didn't know how to get answers until someone introduced me to this new family i never knew i will have, that is you(Nairaland Forum), yes you that is reading this message. akshow77: Thanks to contributing and non-contributing members of this great thread.my day starts and end with this thread and have come to realize the only thing needed for success in life is when everybody lend a helping hand like is been done here.I set out around 5am this morning for the embassy but was 10minutes into the the journey before discovering my x-ray was missing, had to return to pick to it up.finally got to the embassy by 6am.After been ushered into the the embassy around 7am,payment made and and documents collected, the immigrant visa interview started around 8.30am.The white co at window14 was the 1st to start the interview.sooner enough she was joined by the black co at window 13.strange enough the first denial of the day was by the black American lady.Thereafter every other person came out smiling.I discovered that the white co at window 16 is very detailed and she had just a lady throughout the duration of my stay. The window 15guy is also detailed but not as rigourous as that of 16.I was finally called to window13 around 9.28am.congrats bro... the lord that did urs will surely do mine also, once again congrats to everyone of ya'll that have had successful interview and goodluck to all of us that are awaiting interview. may the good lord continue to grant our heart desire.. testimonies at the tip of our and we shall definitely rejoice with eachoda..oluwa is involved it is well..insha Allah |
bobshina: Thank God. I finally landed in America with my family yesterday & d xperience was so wonderful. We don't hav much problem at port of enty- JFK airport NY, we join d queue for immigrant and we are 2nd on d queue. I gave d Immig Officer our PP & d Yellow envelopes. She checked to see if we've tried to open d envelopes. Thereafter, she opened the envelopes one after the other. took our finger prints and snap us. she then inputs some info into the system and finally stamped our PP.She then took us into the main room where she led us to a man. she gave our forms(contents of d yellow envelopes) to d man and d man gave us a form to put our fingerprint on it and signed it. Everytin took us less than 15 minutes in d airport.congratulations and welcome 2 the God's Own Country..bro, I can't wait to feel the way u are feeling ryt now, am so happy 4 u God bless u and ur family...as for me, I 'm still awaiting to be current, thereafter my 2NL and then my interview and finally land yankee, seems like a long tym process tho, but to me its coming soon ...I wish myself success in all my endeavour and so shall it be ...AMIN |

hello house, wanna ask a question plz National Diploma being the highest level of education, would i still need to provide my GCE original Result certificate or i am good to go with the printout from the computer or all i need is just the ND Certificate since it is the highest level of education ?.... |
THANKS EVERYONE THAT CONTRIBUTED TO MY ABOVE QUESTION.BUT I STILL HAVENT GOTTEN ANY GOOD ANSWER AS TO WHY THE BULLETIN DOES CARRY ABOVE 50,000.THANK YOU |
hello NL there are thing that i still dont understand and it actually baffles me. 1)kcc stated that 100,000 selectees are selected around the world and ever since i have been following the dv lottery process i have not seen anybody with case number higher than 50 thousand, even the visa bulletin doesnt carry current case numbers above 50,000.is it that 2 or more pple share the same case number from different region or country. |

I emailed the lagos U.S embassy to get some information concerning birth certificate, police report, level of education required etc. Apparently it is compulsory to have 5 credits in ur ssce.and this was the response i got. Thank you for your email. You will need to be able to show the officer that you are educationally qualified at the time of the interview. WAEC, NECO, GCE, or SSCE with 5 credits of “6” or better; OND; HND; or University Degree. Medical and police report are also required at the time of interview. We now only accept medical examinations from these two medical facilities in Nigeria: the Q-Life family Clinic, Plot 155A Prince Ade Odedina Street, Off Ajose Adeogun, Victoria Island, Lagos 01-804-2000 or 01-726-2840 Cell: 0702-770-4055 or the Children’s Practice Ltd., 25 Raymond Njoku, Ikoyi, Lagos; 01-893-0723. Please contact these clinics to schedule your medical examination. Medical packets are available at the clinic or at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html. You would not be allowed in for the interview without a medical report from either clinic. Each visa applicant aged 16 or over is required to submit a police certificate. This certificate must be obtained from Police Headquarters at Alagbon. We also advise you come in with whatever birth certificate is available to you. You will be advised at the time of interview. Regards, Correspondence Unit US CONSULATE GENERAL LAGOS, NIGERIA Hope this will enlighten a bit for those who need infos concerning any of the above field |
