bashr8: hahahhahahha stop trying to console yourself.I should be consoling you because you're illusioned and dumb. I actually lost interest in responding to you the moment you posted TRADING SECTOR. Shows you can't be believed, trusted or respected on any subject that smacks of intelligence |
ichidodo: ALLIES KO,ALLIES NI, WE GAT EKO GBASIGBE. IGBOS ROCK!You lose and we will soon smoke your criminal asses out one after the other. Be patient, we will get to you shortly |
FreeGlobe: Bunch of crap. Igbos own and live in 80% of houses in the VI's, VGC's banana islands etc while the yorobbers are being pushed each day to their enclave in the surulele's, abeokuta, ota and ibadan. Thats the reality.I live in Ikoyi and have friends all over VI, Banana Island, Lekki and VGC and over 60% belong to Yorubas. Some Hausas and people from the South South own some. Igbos I must say are a handful |
ichidodo: YERIBAS ARE COWARDS! TAKE THAT TO URE IPERU BUSH VILLAGE. URE ROYAL LINEAGE MY A55.We are NIgeria's bravest and most war tested. The bravest Igbo man ever was Ojukwu who ran away. As a soldier, he can't match the bravery or Gani Fawehinmi, Soyinka, Falana, Gani Adams, HID Awolowo, Abraham Adesanya, Fela and Femi Kuti and even me |
ichidodo: RUN TO URE BUSH VILLAGE AND LEAVE THE IGBOS TO OWN LAGOS. COWARDS.Too bad you can't own Lagos and of all places to concentrate your investments, you guys have chosen Festac and Satellite towns which are in one corner of Yoruba land bordered by our allies in Benin Republic and the Atlantic. I feel so sorry for you |
bashr8: keep consoling yourself, better tell yourself the truth , its never too late to come back and hursle like a man.I bet this guy has applied for and has been denied visas to the UK and USA severally. Very soon, you'll need a visa to visit O'dua Republic and I'll see to it that the closest you can get to experiencing what the western world feels like is denied you |
bashr8: a lot of them are owned by igbo lets not forget plus those owned by foreigners unlike the south east where almost all the factories are owned by igbos . we keep our money and take some of yoursAnd you talked about inteligence? If you're half as intelligent as I was when I was in nursery school, you would not say 'a lot of them....' without mentioning at least ten |
bashr8: is that all? your mates are in nigeria building houses and employing people while your in u.k begging for crumbs from oyibo man.All the Yoruba friends and family folks I have in the UK do decent jobs and own the houses they live in and most of them also have built houses here in nigeria without using any of your so-called fake building materials. |
bashr8: maufacturing and trading, yes its actually intelligent. maybe you should try doing it.maybe all those yoruba agberos, almajiros and alayes will eventually have a jobWell the factories here in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo that produce things from paints to confectioneries to cars are not owned by you or your relatives |
truelove.com:I can feed a whole LG in your state. Where is the money? If money grew on trees there why do you guys come here to rob, kidnap and do fraud. |
Zeus I: O boy! In all Nigerian history, tell me a single full blooded yoruba that have challenged an Igbo and won? I will give you the benefit of starting from your sucidal sage 'Awo'(who was rottening in jail for challenging the power of 'The Great ZIK' and was spared; thus: released by Ojukwu). Abiola? The man whom 'Arthur Nzeribe' manipulated to imprisonement where he died bleeding. Akintola? Who died begging with bullet buried all over his body, and the bullet came from 'Nzeogwu boys'. Anything yoruba that dares an Igbo don't die a naturall death, are we to talk of Bola Ige? OBJ lived because we sensed he possesses Igbo blood by virtue of 'Obi Of Onisha', which has not been practically proven otherwise, and for his being the first Nigerian leader to employ the highest rate of Igbos, or he would be dead by now. Igbos residing in yoruba land are fully capable of cleaning them off the face of the earth, and you sits in London spewing nonsense, show your face and you join your sucidal sages. Niggar, we hit'em up!From now on I will only reply comments that contain less than 3 bullets. |
bashr8: from now on i will only reply intelligent comments. And you who posted TRADING SECTOR should be considered intelligent abi? |
bashr8: that why your called international thief theif. when igbos think international they dont think of going to become slaves to the white man , we manufacture and export. as for lagos its a shit hole but i see nothing wrong in eating the fattest cake there.List just 2 things you manufacture and export outside kidnapping, fraud, crime and ritual killing. Your tribe is responsible for the bad name Nigeria has today |
bashr8: does kidnapping for rituals also mean earning money with brain? typical yoruba when you loose an argument you start clutching on straws. All the SW ritual stories isn't a quarter of the 'turnover of corpses' harvested at the Okija shrine. Ritualists |
bashr8: lmfao anything yoruba starts and ends in yorubaland. When Yoruba people think international, they look at places like the UK, USA, Canada and China but when Igbos think international, they think Lagos. In Nnewi, if you say you're going to Lagos, it's like you're going to London. I think we need a border agency in Orej |
Real-Mccoy:How come its Nigeria's highest ranked site on google analytics. So illusioned |
bashr8: like i said yorubas are known to be terrible student of economics. all those sections you listed have a dominant igbo representation plus almost 100 percent of the trading sector , now use your common sense. i bet you dont know the worth of nigerian trading sector olodo.I give up on you. What exactly is TRADING SECTOR. And you are well schooled in economics huh? Dumbass And just in case you never knew, Hausas, led by Aliko Dangote, are Nigeria's biggest traders |
stine b: Lets stop acting or playing ignorance about the tribal trend in most Establishement and churches in Nigeria.A particular tribe dorminates Mobil,Chevron, Shell, Addax etc. Despite the non existence of oil in their land.Judge yourselfs. PHARISEESThere are oil and gas deposits in commercial quantities in Lagos, Ondo and Ogun. We're saving the best for last ![]() |
Real-Mccoy:Trading what exactly? The biggest taxes come from banks, telecoms, oil and gas marketers, insurance companies. If you can't reason, just go through the NSE listing and check the PBTs of listed companies and see how many traders make the list. Tax evading criminals claiming what they are not Besides trading is one task that requires no major skill and I understand the Igbos will always looks for the less mentally tasking way out anyway |
bashr8: has it ever occured to you that while igbos are occupying all the positions in the south east and igbo part of south south , you have to drag with them for positions in yorubaland , now use your common sense to understand what that means economically. its a win win situation for igbo and its a check make , you can either live with it or divide nigeria, either way igbo people will benefit. How dumb. I bet you never worked in a blue chip organization before and for your information I've been with six spanning all regions of Nigeria since graduating 12 years ago and I can count the Igbos that matter in all these organizations with my toes. |
Antivirus92: The wise men are really from the east. Yorrobber and awusa are the cause of nigeria poverty and problems today! So how come the SE region is the poorest after the NW and NE? |
Seriously if Yorubas tow the age long nepotistic attitude of the Igbos, there would be no jobs for Igbos in Corporate Nigeria. A lot of these loud mouthed ingrates enjoyed free education in Yourba land and also had their houses and rents handed back to them after the civil war. The tribalistic bigots still have the nerve to scream blue murder. We've tolerated their criminal violation of our serenity for too long |
Great move Aregbe. I've always thought of this idea. Perfect |
Hmmm. Could be. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this |
Sad |
Our house was robbed 4 times growing up and one of the times, I was on the only in the house as my family had travelled. The next morning, the cops made us realize that over 16 rounds of live ammunition was expended in the attacks and thank God I'm alive today. Also growing up, there was a day I walked right under our overhead tank and it came crashing just two steps after. Still growing up, there was a day I was coming from school and seated on he front seat with my mum's driver (back in the days when seat belts weren't compulsory) and as the car ade a U-turn, the door opened and I was falling out of the car on a busy expressway. I still don't know what kept me in the car that day. I was also involved in a ghastly accident and I came out the only survivor with no injuries. Not even a scratch. I also thank God that He gave me the job of my dreams and has been with me all the way, making new things happen in my life and giving me more than I have ever hoped for. A beautiful home and kids, a house, cars and every great thing of life. I also believe tha every challenge anyone of us is going through here wil be a thing of the past soon and very soon in Jesus name. Amen E ba mi yin Oluwa logo. |
I see this statistics being brandished all over Nairaland by a few illusioned people. The Lagos State Government is a very transparent one and you can check through the records at the Lands Bureau. To even say they own or control 20% of Lagos will be a generous overstatement. I want to ask where the Igbos were when the Western region with Ibadan as its capital was Nigeria's most progressive region. Even today, Yorubas still control the economy of Lagos. If you are objective enough, you can look through records at the Inland Revenue Service and decipher for yourself which companies pay the most taxes to the LASG and which people control them. If truly you're as industrious as you claim, how come the SE is a poorly developed region? How come the GDP of Oyo State is higher than that of any south eastern state? I will admit that Igbos are the Lords of trading in Lagos but the question is, how much does trading as a business generate in these days of e-commerce with online banking making international trade more seamless than ever? How is buying and selling an intellectual bragging right? Anyway like Prof. Achebe admitted, they are a bunch of arrogant, loud, conceited and I must add illusioned set of people. I've met some Igbo people that have proved otherwise but majority of the ones I come across are just an exact replica of these ones online. |
solomonkane: The highlighted quote above, ladies and gentlemen is a classical example of why we must come together and fight the twin evils of free education and free browsing, it produces mentally challenged people like this. How is free education evil? You're the deranged person here now |
Some of us travel and return without getting hounded or robbed. If you have family, let them come for you at the airport and carry as little cash as you possibly can. There are ATM terminals that work pretty well here or you can send the money you wanna spend here to a trusted relative who will make whithdrawals for you whenever you desire. Even loads of non Nigerians fly in for business and a whole lot of other things so what's the big deal? |
Now of you were that girl, what would you do? |
Posted by Roti in Home » General, News, World news on October 19, 2012 - Leave Your Comment This is the true life story of Sandeep Singh, a 22-year-old Massachusetts man nicknamed “Sunny,” who has been working two jobs to help support his family and was recently dumped by his girlfriend. Hardly able to take in reality of his situation yet, Singh continually takes deep breaths while answering questions from reporters during most of the press conferences; he acknowledged that he was feeling “overwhelmed”. He also shared the touching story of how he has worked two jobs from the age of 14 to help his mother and sister pay the bills after his father passed away. When he found out he had won, he said: “I was in my sister’s room on the computer reading the numbers… I didn’t know what to do. I dropped the ticket.” Asked if he had any children, spouse or girlfriend, Singh noted his girlfriend had just left him: “She broke up with me, but right now, I’m not really worried about it… I was heartbroken at first, but now I’m getting over it.” Of what he plans to do with his winnings Singh said, “Helping my mom with the mortgage, helping my family and, like, donating some money to the community; aside from that, nothing that I want to do, really.” Sing had initially won $4 on a lotto scratch ticket and used the winnings to purchase four quick-pick Mega Millions tickets. He’s decided to take the $30.5 million in a lump sum, which the Boston Globe says will equal about $16.1 million after taxes. |
Feel so sorry for her. If the Aluu 4 culprits will be charged for murder, these guys too should be charged for what they truly deserve. Couldn't they have handed her over to the police. In my own opinion she was stripped because she is female but if it was a guy, he would have been mobbed to death but if she truly was guilty, I'm so certain she will never steal again |
