luvinhubby: Their property was confiscated without court order and destroyed, that also is vandalism by govt. Anyway, let's wait for the courts to decide. The question is on what basis was their property confiscated? In violation of their rights or in violation of the laws of the land? The Law is supreme and when it says don't do this, you don't or you face the consequences and if the law has said they will impound your vehicle, you can't object to it when the law enforcement agenst do following your violation of the law |
[b]In my opinion, the tide hasn't turned against ACN in Yoruba land. It's only turned against mediocrity and visionless leadership. Akeredolu couldn't articulate himself during the campaigns and debates. Oke did much better and Mimiko was spot on. Some people would have voted ACN with the ongoing SW regional integration at the back of their minds. However, the candidate presented by the ACN didn't clearly define a roadmap for the state which in his plan should tee off from what Mimiko has been able to achieve (or not achieve). The results only reflected the voters' perception and expectations based on the candidates' promises, plans and antecedents which I think is brilliant. The SW will be better for it as governance is now synonymous with performance in the region. If you look at the way Yorubas have been voting since 1999, you will realize that the governors that return are those that perform and this will send a clear signal to all those in elective positions in the region thereby leading to accelerated development as we've been seeing in recent years. Isn't this the way to go instead of destroying public property. I don't see them winnin anyway |
Great! RIP officers |
Great Yoruba ingenuity |
Just imagine that he kidnappers were Yoruba. This thread would have been longer with all forms of accusations. |
I can imagine what so people would have been posting if the teacher was Yoruba. It's a lesson to everyone on corporal punishment. Doesn't do any good |
Xris74: Ignoramus. All Igbos are not business people and most who are travel out very frequently. Go check the airports. In all my trips internationally, I come across more Yoruba people than any other tribe. Except your igbo peeps travel abroad by road |
Xris74: Unemployment rate in Lagos is 8.3% Hahahaha Fake NBS data. Is that for Lagos indigenes alone, or for all Yoruba indigenes in Lagos, or for all Nigerians in Lagos, regardless of their states of origin? NBS is a joker. Overall unemployment in Lagos can't be anything less than 20 % and that is being modest.Well I have a job and virtually everyone I know either works or has set up a business. Speak for your sorry ass |
Xris74: Much as the poverty in SW explains all the human rituals for money, armed robberies, certificate forgeries, corruption by every single Yoruba govt official, and gbomogbomo, right?See an Igbo man calling Yoruba a criminal. Tell me who the biggest ritualist ever in 9ja was? Tell me who the biggest fraudsters ever caught were? Tell me who tops the list for kidnappings and robberies? |
Xris74: That's what you and Geez do exactly inferring poverty from GDP which at best is paper work and does not account for skewness of the wealth to the few rich. Wealth in Igboland is evenly distributed, making IGBOLAND the least impoverished in Nigeria. Even a donkey knows that.I've been to every nuke and cranny of the east and west and I've seen poverty at its peak in the east. The stats I posted corroborate this. How come your people run away from your 'supposed' goldmines in droves and come to your Eldorado - Yoruba land |
Xris74: The stats given to Dr Kale was doctored in his office. read my links from NAPEP and others on the groundI posted GDP of states from Wikipedia, you said it was doctored, now I've posted NBS data and you still insist it was doctored. You're as pathetic as they come I must confess. I've headed regional services for a multinational covering all the SE states and 4 SS states and the SE states reek of poverty |
demmy: Provide the data thenGDP in the SE is low. The only thing that is high is their poverty rate |
Xris74: GEEZ,Dr. Kale is not a web administrator and he won't be on ground in Anambra getting those stats. And how come you're posting 2009 and 2010 reports in 2012 and besides what you posted isn't a stat |
Check the NBS website click on the map of the state http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/information The SE is far poorer and has more unemployed people than the SW Lagos Poverty Rate=48.6% Unemployment Rate= 8.3% Osun Poverty Rate=37.9% Unemployment Rate=3% Ondo Poverty Rate=45.7% Unemployment Rate= 12.5% Ekiti Poverty Rate=52.4% Unemployment Rate= 12.1% Oyo Poverty Rate=51.8% Unemployment Rate= 8.9% Ogun Poverty Rate=62.3% Unemployment Rate= 22.9% Anambra Poverty Rate=56.8% Unemployment Rate= 12.2% Enugu Poverty Rate=62.5% Unemployment Rate= 25.2% Imo Poverty Rate=50.5% Unemployment Rate= 26.1% Abia Poverty Rate=57.4% Unemployment Rate= 11.2% Ebonyi Poverty Rate=73.6% Unemployment Rate= 23.1% |
FreeGlobe: wikepedia is no link you illiterate. didnt you go to school. what of if I put up an article disproving that your bogus link on the same wikepedia will you believe it. What resources is there in yorobberland. What are you feedin on, you lazy owanbe people. The whole yorobberland is encapsulated in poverty except lagos. Why is jonathan building almajiri schools in ibadan. you guys must be grateful for eating off our sweats and resources. ungrateful pigs.Okay then check the National Bureau of Statistics and see poverty level in the states yourself Anambra is 56% while Oyo is 51%. Also unemployment rate in Oyo is 8.9% while that of Anambra is 12.2% You can compare for other states and feel sorry for your Igboland http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/information/details/Oyo http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/information/details/Anambra Even poverty and unemployment in Yoruba's poorest state of Ekiti are lower than Anambra's. now tell me I manipulated that one again. Ode You think we are as lazy and retrogressive as you Igbos |
luvinhubby: What percentage of that GDP was generated by which tribe. which tribe contributes most to other states GDPYou tell me. Tell me which tribe controls banks, telcos, oil and gas marketing, insurance and manufacturing in Lagos where over 80% of the taxes come from. Don't even mention trading because if it was that good, it should have reflected in Anambra's GDP with your Onitsha market. Tell me which tribe makes Oyo State's GDP higher than that of any state in the south east. Tell me which tribe makes Ondo and Osun states' GDPs very decent. Argue intellectually and not sentimentally |
pazienza: And this is coming from someone whose source of statistics is from wikipedia, ochiatogbugom. What silly question? I have an LED, a plasma and 3 LCD TVs in my house. My folks and brothers and sisters watch LED, LCD and plasma TVs in their homes. Growing up, we had a National color TV as far back as 1982 with a Betamax VCR. Even my grandparents owned colored TVs while they were alive. And I don't understand what you freaking mean by Yorubas like mud houses and black and white TVs. So sad when those mud houses were built, your backward ancestors were still living in caves and trees And tell me where in the world someone has questioned facts posted by Wikipedia which is more reliable than any news or history archive in Nigeria. Once again your stupidity is on display |
pazienza: Fake GDP that doesn't reflect on the lives of common people is useless. Statistics has it that the SE has the lowest rate of poverty in Nigeria, while the SW is poverty stricken. Nairaland is littered with threads on that, just search for them,i don't have time. And until you post those statistics, just confine yourself to the walls of your stupidity. It's just so clear that you are a race of incoherent noisemakers |
pazienza: SW is a poverty stricken zone,i have statistics to show that, heck! I don't even need any statistics for that,i have once been to Ogbomosho and it's surrounding villages. You have stats. Oya post it. From my stats, Oyo State is richer than any South Eastern state. The poorest Yoruba state is Ekiti and its even richer than Ebonyi. And all the SW states minus Lagos have a higher GDP than all the SE states put together. To add Lagos will be overkilling it as that would mean the GDP of the SW is more than double that of the SE. Until you have stats to disprove that just quit being stupid here and anywhere else. Here we go again: Find below the GDP of states in Nigeria http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nigerian_states_by_GDP From the GDP of states, the total GDP of the SW is $78.8bn and that of the SE is $36.9bn. If you take the GDP of Lagos away from that of the SW, the GDP of the region will be $45.1bn. Still way higher than the GDP of the whole of the SE. I will discuss economics and not mere fantasies and illusions For your info, working with 6 different multinationals has taken me around this country and after the north, the SE reeks of poverty |
victorezekielc: I'm a yoruba, I strongly believe that the Igbo's will solve the problem of Nigeria one day. Igbos are blessed people. Nigerians should give them more room to develop this countryLair!just looking at your display name tells us otherwise. So sick |
FreeGlobe: what a joker you are. Its like you people concoct these facts from your anus. You reason from your butts. If you don't have facts just shut up and stop splashing your low intelligence all over the internet. I just posted a link dumbie |
iwanchop: D reason y more Yorubas r in private multinational companies is not far- fetched;most of dis coys r headquartered in Lagos(a Yoruba land)&so conduct their tests nd interviews in Lag hence more Yorubas apply, write tests nd get d jobs.Dis is d case wher i work,21 Engrs;16 Yorub,2 Igbos,2Edos,1Igala.Our Boss is frm Markudi nd others r foreigners. For govt jobs give it to d Hausas they r everywher.Fine that explains Lagos but how come Oyo State has a higher GDP than any state in the SE? |
FreeGlobe: only a clown like you will lift an article posted by an Adekunle on wikepedia and post it here as authoritative. Apart from lagos, only aba and onitsha gdp's will double the gdp's of the entire south west. Ekiti and Osun are the poorest states in west africa.Oya you post the one posted by Nkechi. Besides it wasn't posted by a Yoruba man. Eediot If you don't have facts contrary to the one posted, just keep your tail between your legs and go hang. Even take the GDP away and check the IGR of the states, the SE is still woefully behind the SW |
jt2010: You sound like someone that has lost touch with reality with your statement of which SW states is better that SE states!!!Find below the GDP of states in Nigeria http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nigerian_states_by_GDP From the GDP of states, the total GDP of the SW is $78.8bn and that of the SE is $36.9bn. If you take the GDP of Lagos away from that of the SW, the GDP of the region will be $45.1bn. Still way higher than the GDP of the whole of the SE. I will discuss economics and not mere fantasies and illusions |
ichidodo: IGBOS OWN LAGOS,TAKE THAT TO THE BANK.Okay you own Lagos and claim your taxes have built Lagos through trading. How come your so called biggest commercial capital of Onitsha doesn't generate a tenth of Lagos's taxes for Anambra? |
Seriously this is getting out of hands. These guys are so into crime and criminality wherever they are. |
Okija_juju: Why are they delaying?!!Can't you post without mentioning Yoruba? Always craving for the bold and intelligent Yorubas to take the lead |
bashr8: heendiot and you didnt see where i mentioned we produce and export, holdo thats how you people lack comprehension skills. That came like 4 posts later in a separate argument. You're a drop out pretending to be smart on google. You can't even put together two lines without bullets and seriously everyone has described your posts as the dumbest tonight. Check pages 6 and 7 just in case you missed it |
Real-Mccoy:We clean with water and wash our hands with soap. Still the most hygenic ever. Ask your doctor...if you have one |
bashr8: hahahha another product of hawolwo fake education , olwole certificateYou had to google that up right? Well just in case you're still too dumb to realize, trading is not a sector. Even your definition says 'produces tradable good' not 'trades produced goods' You're too dumb. I swear my 7 year old niece reasons better |
