I believe in God I believe in Jesus I have faith in the Yoruba race |
Way to go God bless the vision of Amosun The herdsmen had better not go beyond their boundaries Much as we do not enjoy what befell the Fulanis that overstepped their bounds in Oyo, I know Yoruba farmers will not hesitate to protect and safeguard their means of livelihood |
MR. WHINNIG:Whining as usual as your name suggests Was it done in the healing river? |
I could have sworn it was a theatre at John Hopkins Impressive If I say its in our DNA ... Anyway lemme just let it pass |
Bishop Magic: Drones are highly covet assets. My friend don't be silly If it was that covet, you shouldn't have announced its launch in the first place Why are warships and fighter jets' military capabilities showcased after their launch? So many of us have seen drones fly outside this country before I just have a strong feeling the drone isn't working |
I was stunned when I noticed it was launched indoors Its like commissioning a ship in the middle of the Sahara Even if we didn't get to see its surveillance pictures, we should have seen it fly |
Xmas thingz It's 13 days to the end of the year (which I also believe is their fiscal year) that you suddenly realize you've run out of cash for development Now I see why they keep running this way |
A bunch of intellectuals Brilliant Yoruba leaders I wonder why a picture of three men is giving enemies sleepless nights Well, maybe beyond the men, you see what they can achieve as a team DAWN is real. No one can stop us |
Nice job BRF We can't stop We can't slow down for others to catch up It's in our DNA Eko o ni baje |
And the begging continues In Season 4 Of The Bridge |
Native attires or agbadas are tolerable for black tie events though odd in my eyes and I don't wear them for such events. But e be like say its the same dress Obi wore doing calisthenics on his well tarred streets of Onitsha that he also wore to the event And after all the deportation threats and saga, the guy is so awed in the presence of BRF that he forgot his lines Look at him grabbing BRF's hand and looking so shyly away like he was his girlfriend. Very unmanly |
basilo101: Lol, wailing ke? Dey r already strategizing hw 2 buy all d tiles n stock it in dia 2inch shops while ur lazy ar.se rot in povertyThat's why we are industrialists and you are traders |
I toured the site with a few partners recently and we joked that the first residents of Eko Atlantic are already inhabiting the place as we saw a few sparse shanties built by homeless people on the reclaimed land I'm so excited about this project and can't wait to see every inch of the land fully built This is what is called vision as Eko Atlantic won't just serve as a land to build, work and live but also help reduce the impact of the Atlantic on the coastline God bless the city of Lagos God bless the vision of my people Later some people will scream that they and the FG are the ones developing Lagos |
While people are receiving hampers and Xmas gifts, GEJ is receiving letters this season |
superstar1: What is in Enugu apart from the mall the Yoruba man built.Guy abeg leave those illusioned people alone They will never understand Let them keep mas.tur.bat.ing themselves with those old pictures We have since moved from where we were in 1999 while they still keep groping in the dark blaming us for their woes and jealously expressing their frustrations |
odua boy: Sothwest is already the most industrialized region in the country. And recently, Ogun has displaced my Lagos to second position as the most industrialized state in the country Thumbs up Ogun but we will overtake you soon again |
When those predictions are made, money is allocated to make contingency plans So its a prediction well spent |
Next year the IGR of the state which currently stands at N3.9bn monthly, will rise again Some people will call them phantom figures All we know how to do is attract viable investments and develop and develop we will |
ak47mann: nwanne there is no evidence to counter his arguments internet have expose hausa and their slaves, they cannot regain those bogus lies stories any longerWhile you whine and gnash your teeth, we are making progress We don't have time to engage in useless debates http://www.punchng.com/business/wacl-to-build-50m-ceramic-tile-factory/ |
The West African Ceramics Limited has announced plans to invest over $50m in the establishment of a ceramic tile factory in Ogun State. The Group Executive Director of the company, Alhaji Lawal Idirisu, was quoted as saying this in a statement on Friday. He was speaking during a courtesy visit to the Honorable Commissioner, Ogun State Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru. Idirisu said the plan to establish a ceramic tile plant was necessitated by the rising demand for European standard quality tiles in Nigeria and across the West African region. He said, “The market demand for quality tiles as obtainable in European countries such as Spain and Italy is rising on an alarming rate owing to the trends in the home, property, and real estate industry” “Although the company’s factory in Ajaokuta, Kogi State is operational at full capacity, meeting both domestic demands and export to the West African market, we are being proactive based on consumer and industry insight, and research to establish another production plant.” “Apart from the availability of raw materials in quite enormous quantity, Ogun State is a viable commercial hub for industries with enabling climate and good governance and this will only improve our distribution system as well.” According to him, West African Ceramics has been manufacturing tiles in Nigeria since 1995 with the name- Royal Ceramics and since 2009 as West African Ceramics Limited. The company is the producer of Porcelain, Vitrified and Glazed tiles in West Africa. In his response, Ashiru, commended the initiative and the choice of the state. He said that the ministry welcomed the initiative and would provide constitutional support in ensuring the investment is realised as the economic benefits to the state and people of the state is enormous. He said, “This will imply job creation for our people in good numbers and generally impact the state positively.” Reacting to the issue of smuggled products and importation of products into the market, the Commissioner said, “Substandard products will naturally find their way out of the market and the vendors eventually close shop as they cannot be sustained competitively.” Ashiru urged the visiting team to remain determined in the expansion plan and assured them of all necessary support the state can possibly accord. |
ngozievergreen: In the face of the mass poverty in osun, aregbe is building Intl airport?Only Abia in the SE generates more than Osun The rest are unviable economic failures Can any SE government build an Airport without going cap in hand to Abuja? Osun State has the lowest poverty rate while after the North, the SE comes next in the ladder of poor people It's easy to understand why your people flee the face of poverty like refugees from a war torn country And I keep wondering why you claim to develop other peoples' lands while your home is in shambles Meanwhile the topic is about the Niger Bridge which you've all been whining over generation after generation Even Amosun has built enough bridges to traverse the Niger four times over |
This is amusing OBJ is the most detribalized Nigerian ever |
And the military just recruited another 5,890 soldiers Could it be that they've been losing men at the war front? This is simply a civil war from all indications. RIP to the dead |
ChinoElects: You can claim those rural areas as ibadan, ado ekiti, abeokuta, oshogbo etc, we do not give a fvck, but as for lagos it is not owned by yorobass because FG put in place 98% of what is lagos today. So how can you claim it? Igbos invested in lagos as former capital of Nigeria, the same way Igbos has bought choice places in Abuja.Since the deportation of your people, what has the FG done since it is their territory? The FG built the Niger Bridge and Federal Highways in Anambra so the state is what it is because of the FG The FG built the Enugu Airport so Enugu is what it is because of the FG In every state of the SE, there are FG projects and the state of the Niger Bridge just shows that without the FG, you can't make progress The Oyo and Ogun you mentioned have bigger economies than any state in the SE. They also have higher IGRs. Only Abia has a higher IGR than Osun I've been to every state in the SE and can understand why many of them can't live there

Sloan: Really? There is a part of Nigeria where what you see exists in naked form. Why not move to anywhere from Anambra, Abia, Imo, Ebonyi or Imo?? If you can't stop talking nonsense because one day, the population of those areas would be much larger and then need a 4 lane express, then you'd prefer the state to pay twice more in compensation and destroy the billions of investment just to add another lane? Some of you are really stupid! In front of my office here is one of the roads in one of the business districts of a major city in North America and it is a 3 lane road which is completely overwhelmed in rush hours or friday! In fact I have to leave the office soon otherwise, the traffic will be at almost a stand still and that is not because people are cutting corners but there is way too many cars + bus (dedicated lane) and lots of street lights at many intersections! It is 3 lane today, what if 1 lane is designated for buses and bikes at rush hours in the future or after completion? Then you will complain that the single lane is too small right?? Some of you are too stupid to be Yorubas or even human! So apt I doubt if the guy is Yoruba Yorubas are visionaries |
ChinoElects: Lasgidi working..Lasgidi is messed up since the capital moved But since the capital moved, millions of your people have moved into the messed up state to mess it up further You don't know how many of markets where you trade that have been shut down for dirtiness When searching for greener pastures, we relocate to the UK, US and Canada but when searching for greener pastures, you move to Lagos For the ones that can speak Yoruba among your folks, it's like speaking with an American accent to them It's the only evidence they have that they've lived in the SW and can boast of being exposed |
