kunletune: Pls kindly let me know how you go about the critical skill. thanks
I need advise and pointers towards getting a Critical skills Visa for S.A. Been on this journey since last year cos i needed to get SAQA and Critical Skills Visa (IITPSA) cos i am an IT Professional. Now i have gotten the required documents but i need advice on the under-listed.
1. introduction/recommendation letter from any employer. (No job in SA yet)
2. Verifiable Hotel reservation.
3. Verifiable Flight booking.
4. Written undertaken by employer accepting cost of deportation.
5. Written undertaken by employer to ensure my passport is valid.
6. How much should one have in their account to use for Proof of Funds.
I need someone that has gone via this route or know how to go about it. I will be very grateful. Thanks. If you don't av an offer from SA yet, you don't need any undertaken from letter from any employer. Simply apply with the form, radiological and medical report, certified yellow fever and passport data pages , your bank statement, a letter of self introduction, a proof of membership with Iitpsa, a proof of your critical skills issued by iitpsa, certified copies of your credentials degrees and certifications, attach your Resume, a page of the home affairs gazette that includes your named critical skill. Attach any motivation letters from any current employers or referree. You'll also need to attach saqa certificate, Nigerian police clearance. I think I have tried. Make sure your resume and degrees relate to the said critical skill. Then make the application. You'll be issued a one year critical skills visa once your documentation is valid. |

Qalifa22: Hi guys okay so I’m renewing my study visa and I have one year left on my passport tho I wanna apply for two years . Immigration says they’re gonna have to cancel my passport without prejudice because they can only renew it if it’s got 6 months left, my question is my application and school letter plus all documents are written with my passport number so if I get a new passport now would I have to redo everything? Like her new police clearance and all that? Thanks you and please it’s urgent . Home affairs will never give you a visa that extends your passport expiry. Why would you need two more years? What are you studying? Anyways, your best bet is to apply now and get a visa till your passport expires. I don't know how getting a new passport works if the old one has not expired. |

cydophobia: Guys.
Please which one is cheaper and reliable in buying South Africa ticket
Wakanow Jumia Travel Travelstart.
Thank you. Depends. Each of these travel coys av targets for airlines. Wakanow normally pushes sales for South African airways. While travelstart has slightly lower rates for Rwanda or Kenya airways. Jumia Travel is new in the business. Not sure how their rates are. But from experience, I've used both wakanow and travelsrart. Travelstart makes you pay heavily for any change to your ticket after it has been booked. Wakanow is more reasonable. Also wakanow has more coverage as they have many travel centers around especially in and out of lag. With travelstart you just have to keep calling customer care if you have issues. Rates are always slightly cheaper on travelstart tho. Especially for Rwanda and Kenya airways. |

Dayhor: Hi guys!
Is an offer of employment from a SA start-up firm valid for a critical skills permit application?
Has anyone been or know anyone who’s been in a similar scenario?
Where is it usually better to apply from, regarding approval rate and processing duration - SA or Nigeria?
@staggerlee @femiaction @samtol4 @dotcomnamename @geenosko Well, as far as you have any of the critical skills stated in the gazette, and you have the needed documentation, you can apply. If you are within SA just apply. In two weeks you will get it. If you have a valid offer you'd get a 5 year critical skills visa. Whatever you do, make sure all your documentation is valid. If you have an offer, make sure it is with a registered company. |

dominique: Are the peas and corn in your stew not canned. Looks nice sha. I need to be coming to this food section more often, I'm getting so many ideas Nope. Those are not canned peas and corn. Those were bought as fresh peas and frozen sweet corn. You can get frozen peas and corn in any of this super arts this days. There is no way canned peas and corn can stand and look fresh like that in a stew. |

Corned beef? Canned food?
Why not just use meat mince? It's tastier, better, healthier and richer. You can even spice with veggies.

I don't regret my actions, looking back now, none of the relationships were meant to be. Like I said, attimes we really can't see the future. But I'm grateful I let go at the time. I'm in a happy place now. |

If you are traveling with them why should you ask if you need to come with them to make the application? You don't av to be rude and opinionated when seeking for help. |

enoch273: Lazy South Africans, mandela go dey weep now, the only thing they're well renowned for in that HIV ridden shithole is xenophobia and armed robbery. If awards were given to ugliest niggas in Africa SA will take the lead. I was robbed in Lagos a couple of months back. No I didnt go to an eatery. I didn't even take cab. I boarded a danfo bus in Lagos by a regular bustop. And that was it. Everything was taken from me at gun point in dat bus. I went to police station to report and for 20 mins no one answered. D police man on duty was asleep in broad daylight. Nigeria is a bigger mess than what SA is. And d fact that there are no statistics doesn't mean HIV is not well spread in Nigeria. Robbery is not affiliated to any country. If it were, Nigerians would be the bigger thieves |

Beef mince sauce. This is my Go to sauce for almost anything. Yam, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta etc.
I use a mixture of mutton mince and lean beef Mince. I add mutton for its unique flavor Then added lots of fresh veggies. Sweet corn, peas, carrots and onion. Also added diced liver and kidney for extra crunch. Added some freshly ground tomato and bell peppers to loosen d sauce and give consistency . Yummy.!

"Go east go west, home is the best"
Any graduate from Nigerian university may not be the best in book but will end up being the best in common sense..
You can't tell me that those foreign mediocre universities are better than our beloved OAU, UNN, UI, UNILAG, FUTO, UNIBEN, ABU, UNIJOS, even ESUT, lai lai I no go gree.
Stop spending your money going abroad for schooling. What can they teach you that our own profs and docs can't? Will they open your head and pour book inside?
Highest is they will dash you grade you did not even merit so that others will come and patronize them.
Appreciate the Nigerian aluta struggle. E worth am.. Aluta dat cannot fetch you a reasonable job after wasting years in school on ASUU strikes and mediocre teaching. The world is your competition. Not the crappy Nigerian system. The earlier you realize it the better. The average uni in Rwanda is better than your crappy futo. |
