Power generated

Once again my salutation to the bosses in the house, the great Builders and moderators that has made the properties section the most sanitized section on this great forum Yeah! Finally get to work with the great builder and a true professional. Thank you for the opportunity sir. |
Well done sir. ![]() |
geesampower:Mr barezzi, pls note what I said; THE RATE. The question he was asking on is if one generator would charge faster than another generator. RATE has NOTHING to do with generator size but EVERYTHING to do with the inbuilt charger or auxiliary charger you are using. Thee generator size only determines IF that power can be supplied or not. Appreciate your contribution. Can you share with use the other appliances you use with the generator sir |
Barezzi:There is nothing wrong with my maths. All inverters don't have the same charging current. What you need to do is to check the charging current of your inverter. You just said your inverter has a charging current of 55A dc, that is YOUR inverter. The example I gave above was 30A dc Max NOT 55ADC. So don't mix things up sir. The importance of my comment is in educating the reader on how to calculate this them selves. this is not a thread for one fits all, it is for education. You take the knowledge and adapt to your unique situation. If I say for every 4kva magnum inverter buy a 8kva generator. Does that mean I am making sense? Absolutely NO. Because you still have to calculate rate of charge. Would your inverter need 10hrs to charge 4 200ah batteries? Absolutely NO. But the example I gave above would need 10hrs to charge the batteries. So my maths is not wrong in anyway. Situations only differs You have to make sure you put round pegs in round holes. Buy a generator that can deliver what your charging current is And don't neglect the voltage too. The lesser you have to step down to the more current your generator can comfortably deliver. |
hahn:This is tiring, I just weak. J.K Rowling, TRR tolkin and a host of other authors have made good money from such thinking, I hope this dude does not waste his talent on nairaland. My candid advice. Wish I have such a "healthy imagination". I wld write the best fantasy movie the world has ever seen. |
johnydon22:What wirinet wrote there says it all. Existence of God may not be the real issue but what we call god. |
theAtheist101:so obvious he is one. Not seen anyone like him here. He makes no sensible point with his posts. I believe in the teachings of Christianity, especially on love and many others, just like the teachings of Buddha, but the spiritual content won't survive for long. Only the teachings and principles would live forever. |
peaceland:A very good question sir The rate of charge has NOTHING to do with a generators capacity, it has every thing to do with the charger either the inbuilt charger (inverter) or an auxiliary charger or the use of both. A typical 3.5kva inverter may not have a charger that is more than 20 to 30 amps, typically 24v, during the first stage of charging the charger uses a higher voltage to charge 28v -32v. This means the peak draw from your generator is 30amps by 32v which is 960va, so far you generator can provide this then you are ok. Does not matter if it is a 3kva generator or 100kva generator, your charger would only draw what is needed to charge the batteries and go through the whole 4 stage of charging. Real average draw would be more of 480va With a 20amp charger, charging 4 200ah batteries would take about 10 hours. For faster charging, add an auxiliary charger and you can half the charge time but double the power requirement. |

johnydon22:That is good anyway All the best |
frank317:It is just plain ridiculous. Just the other day in PH (story was on FP) a whole permanent secretary of the ministry of agriculture believed a white rabbit under his car was a witch and workers even closed early on that day to run home. Smh |
johnydon22:Well done o. You really have time for all these. But I understand, if you don't answer their questions regardless of how silly it is, it would be presumed you've been proven wrong. But honestly you don't have to. As I said earlier, this sort of argument only lead to brain drain. There is nothing to gain from it. This is not a discussion this is a "I MUST PROVE HIM WRONG" sort of argument. Explain all you want to, you are just wasting your time. One day I was burning some trash and as I stood there staring at the flames I heard a voice loud and clear. The voice told me all sinners would burn in hell. That happened when I was a kid. I've had a dream of me and jesus living happily in heaven. Lol, so what? Does my dream of a talking pencil also prove pencils talk, or my dreams of mickey mouse and I playing prove the existence of mickey mouse? All these I tell you are true, but they don't prove anything. Dreams and "voices" in our heard are all products or our thoughts, which are products of what we hear, read etc. I used to have sleep paralysis some 6 years ago, when ever it happens I feel I am struggling with a demon, a female demon to be precise. I stopped believing in demons and all these bull crap about 5yrs ago. I researched sleep paralysis and got to know the cause (has nothing to do with demons of cos) I realized it happens when ever I sleep very late and I try to wake up before having enough sleep. Since then I sleep on time so I don't have to force my self to wake up before having adequate sleep (which my body fights and caused the sleep paralysis). That was the end, no prayers, no deliverance. I got the impression they were demons cos of what I hear in church, people giving testimonies about demons pressing them in their sleep and how "God" saved them from the demon. Our minds can be very funny, tell a kid there is "ojuju" in a dark empty room and his mind would create the image of the "ojuju" vividly to the extent he would believe he can see it physically. You can even influence how the "ojuju" would look like. Tell the kid it has horns and he would see one with horns, tell the kid it has a tail and he would see it with a tail. This works for ANY kid. Just don't look like you are playing. Tell the kid with all seriousness and he would see whatever you describe. Leave such a kid with this impressed on him and his mind would create more demons of different shapes and sizes. Reason why I laugh at the so called cockville miracle many are excited about. An impressionable mind only needs suggestions and the mind would do the rest. |
Remilekun101:So why does it not work when users are blindfolded. Please stop beating a dead horse. I am sure the inventor if alive would be amused at your kind who took his TOY so serious. This thread would only lead to brain drain. Seems like a discussion of desperate primary school pupils. I apologize for commenting on your thread, I just cldnt help it. I am really bewildered at how primitive and disjointed the arguments presented in favor of afterlife are. At the beginning I was excited, thought you had a ground breaking discovery to share. But here we are with TOYS as proof of after life. Again I apologize for commenting. Off I go |
Remilekun101:Gone through the thread. It was interesting, but equally annoying. So many red herring tactics. You fail to keep the conversation in line. From ouija boards to your "inner" eyes seeing a spirit to micro organisms. Why don't you follow any of your analogies to a logical conclusion before jumping to another. You seem desperate to say the least. John asked a very good question; you saw a spirit in clothing, so does this mean cloths have spirits too? Why was the spirit or soul or what ever you saw, why did it not have a mobile phone too? Can you see the white skeleton in your body? But you know you have a skeletal frame, you know you must have a kidney, same with the microbes. They are physical entities that can be verified at any time. You don't need analogies or inferences to prove them. They are proves of them selves. You want to prove the existence of your femur right now, just take a knife and cut deep into your thigh. You will find your femur right there as proof of it's own existence. As a kid shadows, flares and reflection of lights in my peripheral vision were perceived as ghosts and demons. Ask any kid that has been exposed to movies with ghosts and stuff, they would strongly believe in their existence and claim they have seen ghosts too. I have claimed to see ghosts many times as a kid. I was 100% sure of their validity. I believe we all passed through that stage in our lives. Growing up, you either outgrow this or you give credence to your paranoia. Same goes for the ouija board, it is nothing more than a mirror to your mind, you see what you wanna see, just like looking at the clouds and making sense of random shapes the cloud forms, you will always make sense of the random pattern the cloud makes if you open your mind to it. |
Hehehehehehe
This is very interesting |
KingEbukasBlog:Ok It is very possible that matter and energy has always existed (eternal). There can't be anti matter without matter and there can't be dark energy without energy. There can't be life as we know it without all these 4 components. No one knows the beginning of matter, it cannot be dated. Scientists can only attempt to date the age of the universe, that is the order it has, not the actual age of matter. Even the bible saying in the beginning the world existed tho it had no form. So even if we would believe the biblical account, it also agree's that matter has always existed. If we would believe in God, then it's prove that energy has always existed. The substance of creation is eternal. So plain to see. energy and matter has always existed obviously. |
wirinet:That is just it. It's funny to see nairalanders try to be physicists without proper research into what they post. Explaining science to a determined religious minded person is a waste. Even the bible agrees that the wise cannot understand the things of God, because faith in God is only by faith. Even without knowing of E=mc2 I independently arrived at the conclusion that matter is equal to energy even as a little child cos I think a lot about life and whatever tickles my imagination. Excite matter enough and it breaks up unleashing energy and losing mass. Seriously this arguments here are ridiculous. I have seen religious people even say scientific break through and inventions are all white men's witchcraft. Are these the kind of shallow minded people you are wasting your time replying? |
KingEbukasBlog:Honestly, your posts and questions are all ridiculous. I am not an atheist, but you are taking this too far. If we are to go into details of proving relationship of matter and energy then we would turn this thread to a physics thread which in no way helps to prove the existence of God. Believe in God is simply believe in God, faith based, personal experience you can attribute to none other but the almighty. Don't make a fool of your self here saying matter is not energy. I hope you have heard of the hadron collider? Where atoms which is the building block of matter are smashed together to break them further down. One of the product of this collision is energy, immense energy. Same principle is responsible for the operation of atomic bombs. It's obvious you don't know that elements can be converted from one to another. For example you can canvert helium with atomic number 2 to hydrogen with atomic number 1. This is how the hydrogen bomb works, this is how nuclear weapons work. There is left over mater which wld be lesser in mass cos the missing mass was converted to energy. Stop this display of illiteracy online. This is the internet your post would be read all over the world. You don't have to struggle to prove God. Believing in Him and serve Him how best you can. Preach his word and not make a fool of yourself driving at nothing. Science can't yet explain the beginning of everything, neither can any religion prove the beginning. So what is exciting you here? You are asking silly questions and you are feeling funky. People replying you must really have time. I don't post on religious threads cos we throw reason out of the window just to uphold our believe. Be a christain and stop being uncomfortable with scientific findings. I am not interested in conversing with you. You can quote me but I don't reply people like you. I am a christain by the way. |
Bossforeva:Pls is the outfit in Nigeria, kindly share address or link where their paint jobs can be viewed. Thanks boss |
biyibd:I sincerely apologize for my late reply. Absolutely yes. But when you say round the clock, then that would require a battery back up, charge controller and extra solar panels that would cater for the backup charging. There are grundfos, sunpumps, lorentz pumps that would get the job done |
donmajor2:Absolutely. And it can use just 200watts, but would only deliver about 500 to 1000 liter in an hour. If you are on wattsapp, you can contact me I can send the pump to you. |
biyibd:I am really sorry sir. There is no pump either dc or ac that can deliver that flowrate at that wattage. And very few pumps use ac and dc interchangeably, so this highly limits your options. To get that flow-rate you need a pump of at least 2hp and that would require about 2500watts of electricity or more if the pump is not using a BLDC motor. |
targus:Can see someone posted a cost of N10m above. Hope he is just kidding. |
Ishilove:All a matter of time. You will see the bigger picture |
samplegirl:The number of panels depends on how quick you want it to charge. Use 2 140watts panel and you will have your battery 100% full within 4 to 6 hrs depending on the weather guaranteed. That is for charging alone. A 30A pwm is ok. I am asking u to use pwm cos it is just 1 battery, u don't need to buy an expensive MPPT charge controller to charge a 200ah battery |
We will be Renovating this. Stay tuned. A big learning experience for me.

Good job Femi! Keep delivering. Many still believe there are straight forward and reliable people like you here on Nairaland. |
Engrr:Hehehehe Nice observation. I challenge the op to take a picture of himself standing in front of the car with today's newspaper. |
Seun! We got one here. Pls ban this thief |
