Stop drinking garri early in the morning, una no go gree hear. So, Selman and Suleman na the same person? May God open your eye SHIVA001: |
Founder of the Eternity Network International, Apostle Joshua Selman has revealed stern warning ahead of the Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections slated for Saturday, March 18, 2023. In the vision, he said, God showed him a dangerous light on March 17 (Friday) and told him to pray against any form of fear on election eve. Apostle Selman disclosed this in a video clip obtained by TRIBUNE ONLINE on Tuesday. His words; “I had a vision yesternight into this morning… I don’t know what it is but I just want us to pray. I was leaning quietly, not even mediating when this vision was opened up to me. “In the vision, I saw the 17th of March (Friday) and a danger light like amber light blinking on it, and I just heard the word “Pray” and that was it. “I say it not just because I have to say it but because the Holy Spirit kept pressing it in my heart that we (the congregation) pray against it corporately. https://tribuneonlineng.com/apostle-selman-reveals-shocking-details-ahead-march-18-polls/ |

Created on November 20, 2022, the G5 (Integrity Group) comprises five governors, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, and Nyesom Wike of Rivers. Before the 2023 elections, the Wike-led G5 governors have been clamouring for the PDP National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu’s resignation shortly after a northerner, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, won the party presidential ticket. The Integrity Group saw the need for the South to produce the party’s national chairman after Abubakar because the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 general election is from the North. Hence, the group was formed on equity, fairness, and justice — a maxim some analysts have faulted for lacking substance as it is more like a conglomeration of individuals with distinct interests rather than a common goal. Things fall apart Following an unholy alliance with the opposition, the G5 became a shadow of itself, as three of its members failed in their quest to move to the Senate after their two terms as governors elapsed. Recall that the leader of the group, Governor Ortom, had endorsed Peter Obi of the Labour Party a few days before the February 25 poll, while his colleagues, Wike and Makinde, according to unsolicited sources, also pledged support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, leading to the division in the group. Based on the foregoing, the G3 paid the ultimate prize for their anti-party politics with shocking defeats recorded in the just-concluded National Assembly election in their respective States. Ikpeazu Though he was said to have lost his Senatorial bid following his abysmal performance in the State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu could not ride on his incumbent power to clinch the Abia South Senatorial ticket. The outgoing governor could only garner 28,422 votes against Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ‘s 49,693. Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has reacted to allegations made by the Kogi Central Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, that he was after her. Governor Bello in a one-on-one interview on the Politics Today programme of Channels Television on Friday, said he doesn’t know why Natasha is fond of mentioning his name either rightly or wrongly. His words, “I don’t know why my name is so sweet in her mouth that she would continue to mention me. Let me tell you and other Nigerians, do you know I do not lose sleep over her mentioning my name? Either rightly or wrongly. “Do you know why? Because she knows what is paining her. Please I think Nigerians should ask Natasha, what does she really want? “Every now and then, today she is contesting for this position, whether I am contesting or not, she keeps mentioning me. Tomorrow she is contesting for another, she’s mentioning me. Please ask her, what does she want?” https://tribuneonlineng.com/yahaya-bello-on-natasha-i-dont-lose-sleep-over-her-mentioning-my-name/ |

Dr Michael Adeniran, the biological father of Whitney Adeniran, the Chrisland student that recently died has refuted claims by the school management that her daughter had “not-too-buoyant health” before passing out. In an exclusive interview with TRIBUNE ONLINE, Dr Adeniran said he has started legal process to ensure justice is being served on the matter. “Chrisland should make sure they don’t go and bribe the Pathology department of Lagos State. They are the one who is refusing and telling me not to go (for autopsy) before. Suddenly, they are coming to tell me that I should make sure autopsy is done. Meaning that they have gone to bribe their way through. But I will give them a shocker of their life,” Dr Adeniran said. “(Sobs)… I gave birth to Whitney October 30th, 2010. She slept in the hospital 11th and 12th of October 2010 and since that day till date, my daughter has never slept in the hospital. “If my child is sick who is to know she is sick? The teachers in school or the parents that gave birth to her? So, a child that is healthy, you’re telling me that my child is sick, an emotional.” He continued; “What I’m engaging with Chrisland now is a battle. Everything I need to do legally has started doing it. And one thing I can guarantee Chrisland is, they should get their lawyers ready, I will get mine ready. They are afraid of going to court because they killed my child. https://tribuneonlineng.com/chrisland-whitneys-father-clears-air-on-daughters-health-condition/

It was an ecstatic moment for Yusuf Alabi, as he had a one-on-one encounter with the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi. TRIBUNE ONLINE had reported the LP flag-bearer was in Lagos for the grand finale of the party’s rally on Saturday. The rally, which took place at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos, was attended by the Leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, among other celebrities including the legendary PSquare. During a road walk from Alaba International Market to TBS, Peter Obi was seen waving at the residents inside one of his convoys. It was during this moment of excitement that Alabi, an Ibadan-born stole the show to produce an internet sensational photo that has since gone viral. When interviewed, the 15-year-old could not hide his admiration for the former governor of Anambra, who according to him, is people-friendly. https://tribuneonlineng.com/yusuf-alabi-meet-teenage-boy-in-viral-obidient-lagos-rally-photo/

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Kogi First Lady Rashida Bello wanted over alleged fraud. Also, the agency on Wednesday arraigned Ali Bello, identified as a nephew to the Kogi governor before a federal high court in Abuja. In a statement by Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC spokesperson, the agency said the duo was docked alongside three other persons on an 18-count charge “bordering on criminal misappropriation and money laundering to the tune of N3,081,804,654″. “That you, Ali Bello, Abba Adaudu, Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege, Iyada Sadat, Rashida Bello (at large) sometime in June, 2020 in Abuja within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court procured E-Traders International Limited to retain the aggregate sum of N3,081,804,654.00 (Three Billion, Eighty One Million, Eight Hundred and Four Thousand, Six Hundred and Fifty Four Naira) which sum you reasonably ought to have known forms part of proceeds of unlawful activity to wit: criminal misappropriation, and you thereby committed an offence contrary to sections 18(a), 15(20)(d) of the Money Laundering Prohibition Act, 2011 as amended and punishable under section 15 (3) of the same Act,” the charge reads in part. “That you Ali Bello, Abba Adaudu Rashida Bello (at large) sometime in November 2021 in Abuja within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court procured E-Traders International Limited to transfer the aggregate sum of $570,330 (Five Hundred and Seventy Thousand, Three Hundred and Thirty United States Dollars) to account number no; 426-6644272 domiciled in TD Bank, United States of America, which sum you reasonably ought to have known forms part of proceeds of unlawful activity to with: criminal misappropriation, and you thereby committed an offence contrary to section 15(2)(d) of the Money Laundering Prohibition Act, 2011 as amended and punishable under section 15 (3) of the same Act.” The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. https://tribuneonlineng.com/kogi-first-lady-wanted-by-efcc/

The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka has berated President Muhammadu Buhari following the current hardship posed by the Naira redesign policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). TRIBUNE ONLINE had reported on January 4 that following the return of Mbaka after eight months he stayed outside the State, there was jubilation in parts of Enugu State capital. The Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev Callistus Onaga had in October 2022 posted Fr Mbaka out of Adoration Ministry Catholic Chaplaincy to Monastery following June ban of church activities in the ministry. In a recent sermon, monitored by TRIBUNE ONLINE, the outspoken cleric said though the CBN may have good intentions for introducing the Naira policy, “the timing is very wrong” adding that “Nigerians are now suffering” following the scarcity of the new notes. “People (Nigerians) are suffering. People will suffer to take their money and there is a country. And tomorrow you will say Father Mbaka says. Why do you force me to say something? I am giving both the President (Muhammadu Buhari) and the CBN Governor (Godwin Emefiele) a mandate from heaven if they don’t want to act immediately and stop this self-imposed wicked suffering on the people, they will suffer. “People are now selling money, not dollars. It easy to get dollar now than to get Naira. Parents cannot have money to buy foodstuff for their children. https://tribuneonlineng.com/father-mbaka-blasts-buhari-says-nigerians-are-suffering/

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has said he would be elected Nigeria's next president despite attempts by some persons to sabotage his chances in the February 25 poll. Tinubu made the assertion Wednesday during a rally at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. He also said there is a plot by some saboteurs to stop the 2023 general elections from holding. “Let fuel be expensive, only they know where they keep it. Keep petrol, keep the naira, we will vote and be elected. You may change the ink of naira notes. What you expect will not happen. We will win,” the APC flag-bearer was quoted as saying in Yoruba parlance. “They said petrol will rise to N200/litre and N500/litre, let your mind be at rest. They don’t want these forthcoming elections to hold. They want to scatter it but that won’t be possible. “They thought they could cause trouble; they sabotaged fuel but with or without fuel, with or without motorcycles and tricycles, we will vote and win. This is a superior revolution.” “We will take over government through our PVCs. Even if they say there is no fuel, we will trek to the polling units,” he added. President Muhammadu Buhari is the current minister of Petroleum and Nigerians have been lamenting over the scarcity of fuel that have since seen the price fluctuating between N180 to N500 across the country. https://tribuneonlineng.com/keep-petrol-keep-naira-ill-win-tinubu-jabs-buharis-govt/

A video showing the moment the presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, received a standing ovation and resounding cheers from congregants at The Experience 17 in Lagos, has been making the rounds on social media. The former Anambra State governor attended the Interdenominational Gospel concert founded by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, founder and senior pastor of House on the Rock on Friday, December 2, and was given a warm reception by the congregation. The Experience, which debuted in December 2006 with over 70,000 persons in attendance rapidly gained momentum at its second outing with a quantum leap in attendance of well over 700,000 people. The Experience has now become known as the largest musical concert in Africa and attendance is free. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg_6VpW9FXg In his remarks, Peter Obi thanked the organisers for the successful event while praying that God would hear the prayers of all the participants. "I greatly enjoyed God's presence at THE EXPERIENCE 17, yesterday in Lagos. "I thank the organisers of the program, and everyone who contributed in making it a huge success. To the millions of people who participated in the program, both physically and virtually, may God hear our prayers for our nation and for ourselves. -PO," he tweeted. Meanwhile, the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, has challenged the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, to the political battlefield, if he’s sure he’s physically and mentally okay. Baba-Ahmed said he’s not in the best position to say whether Tinubu is sick or not. Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, says he is the only candidate the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) discusses in their meetings. Obi spoke at an interactive session tagged #90MinutesWithPeterObi on Tuesday. No fewer than 59,000 users tuned in for the Twitter Space that focused on hot issues bordering on his plans and aspirations for 2023. The former Anambra governor while fielding questions from his supporters said his emergence as LP presidential candidate has taken his party from "zero to Number 3". "Labour Party and me as the candidate in four months has been able to at least shake the establishment (APC and PDP) from zero to Number 3. "Today, the only thing PDP and APC discusses in their meeting is Peter Obi. I can tell you with your support, we will win this election and see the difference Nigeria can be," he said. Meanwhile, Tinubu has promised to ‘recharge’ the Lake Chad if elected president next year. Tinubu made this known on Tuesday at the inauguration of the first drilling of crude oil at the Kolmani Oil Field in Bauchi. “Each time we discuss the lack of food and the challenges of terrorism, you will talk about Lake Chad. Okay, let me assure you, if I am elected the president, I will recharge Lake Chad," the APC flag-bearer was quoted as saying. https://www.thequesttimes.com/apc-pdp-cant-do-without-mentioning-my-name-in-meetings-says-peter-obi/

Ahead of the 2023 elections, Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate has been tipped as the frontrunner ahead of Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC), for the party’s ticket in a now-deleted poll conducted by Kogi Commissioner of information, Kingsley Fanwo. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar (PDP) and his counterpart Rabiu Kwankwaso (NNPP) were also listed in the poll. On his Twitter account on Saturday, November 19, the commissioner, an ardent supporter of Tinubu, held a presidential poll, ‘Dear Nigerians, who do you want as your next President?’ The tweet was deleted after 73,212 individuals voted, with Obi leading with 78 percent. Tinubu trailed him, having garnered 15 percent of the votes. Atiku had 4 percent, and Kwankwaso had 3 percent. Quest Times understands Kingsley Fanwo is one of the commissioners of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who is the National Youth Coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council. This is not the first time Peter Obi will be leading in a presidential poll. In September, a poll, commissioned by Anap Foundation and conducted by NOI Polls Limited, had placed the Labour Party candidate as the winner of the 2023 presidential race — other political parties had kicked against the poll. https://www.thequesttimes.com/fanwo-deletes-poll-after-obi-defeated-tinubu/

Although the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo made a mistake not recognising the APC Presidential Flagbearer during protocols recognition over the weekend in Owo, the incident was greeted with good humour and courteous banters as the VP corrected himself moments after the oversight. This generated buzz over the social media space after video of the incident circulated. In the video, the Vice President, at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church [venue of the funeral] in Owo, acknowledged the presence of Kayode Fayemi, former governor of Ekiti, as well as Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dapo Abiodun, governors of Lagos and Ogun, respectively. He also recognised the presence of notable politicians and personalities present including, party chieftains, former governors, lawmakers, ministers, senators and captains of industry amongst others. Professor Osinbajo during his speech acknowledged the presence of Tinubu. “Before I go on, I have made a very big error. I have left out the presidential candidate of our great party, the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said. “The Emilokan. Asiwaju, I’m sorry. He was sitting right next to me. Not just sitting right next to me, but right in front of me, but I honour you and welcome you to this event.” Recall that Osinbajo earlier on October 26, got his audience rolling in laughter, after he jovially revisited the drama between himself and Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, that played out just before the APC presidential primary election in June. Osinbajo labeled Shettima “the Chairman and majority shareholder of his ice-cream-producing company.” An eye witness, who is a top official of the Ondo State Government, Dr. Oladoyin Odebowale, took to his Facebook account to say “I was in Owo. There is nothing like animosity. They all joked and laughed together throughout the programme. The VP was given the protocol list already prepared. Asiwaju Tinubu came after the list has been prepared. The error came from the protocol people. He quickly corrected himself. They all joked outside the church… Nobody saw a serious breach. Asiwaju came later than others.” One commentator said the buzz over the event that the whole thing was purely exaggerated. She said “The people shouting will be alright. The pictures taken at the event tell a different story. Besides, didn’t Tinubu ‘ignore’ His Excellency after the presidential primaries at Eagle Square and Gbajabiamila had to correct him? If anything, they will want this to be a distraction from the drug story making the rounds. Another commentator, Imran U. Wakili, took to Twitter to say “So Osinbajo did not mention Tinubu in his observance of protocol before his speech at an event. He was reminded and he stopped what he was saying and apologized. He even blamed himself saying ‘and you are even sitting in front of me and I was looking at you, I am sorry’”. Olayemi, another Twitter commentator, said “Pls leave Prof. Yemi Osinbajo alone. He lost the primaries to BAT and he has moved on. Lists was given to him before d arrival of Bola Tinubu. The organizers might not know BAT will be at d event. May God forgive us as we give judgement on what we know little or nothing about.” Susan Henshaw, on her part wondered why anyone will think Osinbajo would have deliberately ignored Tinubu. She tweeted “WHY would anyone believe Osinbajo would deliberately not acknowledge someone…anyone in church. Thats not who he his. No history of vindictiveness or malicious behavior, except in the hearts of those making the accusations.” https://www.thequesttimes.com/osinbajos-delayed-recognition-of-tinubu-at-akeredolus-mothers-burial-generates-humour-on-social-media/

The All Progressives Congress Campaign Council has revealed reasons its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, was absent at a live presidential debate held at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. The campaign council’s clarification is coming in the wake of Tinubu’s absence at the event organised by Democracy and Development (CDD) in collaboration with Arise TV. Tinubu’s counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, who was said to be on his way from Morocco, was, however, represented by his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, Quest Times can authoritatively report. Reacting, Festus Keyamo, the Director, Public Affairs and Spokespersons, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in a statement on Sunday, said his principal is busy at the moment. https://www.thequesttimes.com/tinubu-is-too-busy-to-attend-debates-apc-campaign-council/

Amid the wrangling within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Quest Times runs the rule on the five (5) incumbent governors within the PDP fold who ‘have withdrawn their support’ for the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, ahead of the 2023 general elections. Recall that the PDP presidential flag-bearer on May 29, 2022, was declared winner of the keenly contested PDP presidential primary election, after polling the highest number of votes to defeat his closest rival, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, among others. Following this, some aggrieved members of the party have been unable to make peace with an Atiku candidacy, insisting that his emergence flies in the face of fair representation, equity and regional balance. According to these aggrieved members, the ticket should have been ceded to the south on a platter and not the other way around. They argue that it is unfair and an aberration for the standard-bearer and Chairman of the party to hail from the same northern region. Below are the five (5) PDP governors who have through speeches, body language, actions or inactions, inferred that they are working against Atiku’s presidential ambition: 1. Nyesom Wike Fondly called “Emperor” by his admirers, the Rivers State Governor has on numerous occasions kicked against the emergence of Atiku as PDP standard-bearer. He is also one of the leading voices against an Atiku presidency. He has been particularly loud about his disdain for Atiku. Wike has even gone as far as removing photographs of the PDP presidential candidate from campaign materials in his state; and emphatically stated his reasons for doing so during an interaction with journalists recently. 2. Okezie Ikpeazu Abia State Governor Ikpeazu is one of a handful of PDP governors who have fallen out with their party in the aftermath of the primary election which produced Atiku as the presidential candidate. These governors were supporters of Governor Wike of Rivers who polled second in the primary election. They have since demanded the resignation of party Chairman Iyorchia Ayu for allegedly helping Atiku to nick the presidential ticket. Even though Ikpeazu has affirmed that Atiku is his presidential candidate, there are strong indications that he has been going the Wike way by refusing to align with the PDP presidential candidate since the commencement of the 2023 political campaigns. 3. Seyi Makinde Makinde is an unalloyed Wike loyalist and a member of the Wike group. Despite openly declaring that he would rally behind anyone who eventually emerged as the party’s presidential candidate, Makinde is one of the PDP governors believed to be working against the candidacy of Atiku, on the heels of the internal crisis rocking the party. The Oyo governor is also among the PDP governors calling for the removal of Ayu as the party’s chairman. 4. Udom Emmanuel Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom is not exempt from the list of incumbent PDP governors working against the candidacy of the former vice president. Recall that Udom, in the run up to the PDP presidential primary contest, purportedly denied Atiku access to delegates in his state. Though he refuted the rumours at the time, Udom hasn’t come out to throw his weight behind an Atiku presidency like most party heavyweights have done. 5. Samuel Ortom Just like Wike, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State says Atiku did not consult him when picking representatives from his state into the campaign council, a development he considers disrespectful to his office and status. He has therefore withdrawn his support for Atiku, stating tongue-in-cheek this week that “when the election comes, we’d do the election according to the election.” https://www.thequesttimes.com/5-pdp-governors-working-against-atikus-presidential-bid/ |
A Nigerian lady, identified simply as Dr. Ola Sandra Ndukwe, has called out Zenith Bank, after a sum of N450,000 was allegedly debited from her account in less than a day. According to her, her Zenith App was hacked a couple of weeks ago and all efforts to rectify the issue proved abortive, following negligence on the part of the bank. In a tweet thread that has garnered massive reactions, Ola narrated her ordeal, while calling on Nigerians to be wary of the bank: If you’re still banking with Zenith Bank…you better think twice. I never wanted to post this, but for the sake of “innocent” people that may fall victim… I did. Some days back, my Zenith App was hacked into. I lost a sum of 450k (my daily limit is 500k). Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Patrick Fakoya, better known as Rico Swavey, died in the early hours of Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Evercare Hospital, Quest Times can now report. The easygoing artist had been involved in a ghastly accident earlier in the day, fell into a coma and never came out of it. But the publication of a video made by apparent nurses in one of the hospitals he was taken to, has caused outrage among Nigerians because of the irresponsible behaviour of the health workers seen in the video and the very publication of the video. (Quest Times will not publish the video, as such is considered unethical). Quest Times reports that the artist was first rushed to a hospital in Ajah, possibly Doreen, but for some yet-to-be-disclosed reasons was soon taken away and taken to Evercare. https://www.thequesttimes.com/unauthorised-video-rico-swavey-died-at-evercare-hospital/

Cracks within the ranks of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are beginning to show as some key ministers and party chieftains have refused to endorse the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, ahead of the 2023 elections. While appearing as a guest on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, craftily avoided endorsing Tinubu for the 2023 presidency, leading to wild speculations that many party chieftains were not supporting his ambition. Dr. Ngige himself attempted contesting to become the party’s standard bearer but later pulled out after President Muhammadu Buhari directed his appointees who were aspirants to resign in line with section 84(12) of the Electoral Act. Ngige could not publicly confirm his choice between Tinubu and the candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
