It sounds Igbo and also sounds Delta — urhobo or Edo. She's definitely from one of these three ethnicity. |

How long ago this happened? Ọsọ ahia ( literal translation is "market run" . These people don't have or own any shop in the market but they know where everything is sold. They meet customers, ask them what they want and take them to the shops where the items are sold. And when the transactions are finalised between the customer and the vendor, they collect their commission from the shop owner. The practical translation is market hustlers, they're in every single market in Nigeria. |

Image123: Recall that your Jonathan was clueless and even in denial. He lacked awareness and was being convinced of realities. He cut the picture of a lost man. Even till date, he complains about how stressed out he was and how he couldn't sleep more than 2hours some days. On the other hand, the Jagaban and his NSA are working and engaging. They've even allowed your American saviours as you suggested. The way you guys hyped American intervention with guns ablazing. One would assume that all terrorists would have surrendered their lives to God by now. You're being smart by half. Jonathan engaged the terrorists by bringing in mercenaries who in cooperation with the military almost wiped out Boko Haram in 2015, he was so brutal in tackling the terrorists to the point that your APC people and Northerners, including Buhari accused him and ihejirika of taking revenge on the events of the Biafran war, they even reported him to the ICC and claimed that a Fight against Boko Haram is a fight against the north , according to the APC and Northerners then, "Boko Haram were freedom fighters". These mercenaries were so effective against Boko Haram, But when your APC government came into power, they disengaged the services of the mercenaries and allowed Boko Haram to regroup and regain their strength. Under the APC government, Boko Haram birthed the ISWAP, Lukuwara or whatever it's called, and other terrorist groups. Under Jonathan They were only in the north east, but under your APC they're now spread across the entire north, Middle belt and even in Southwest. So tell me again who the failure is? |

DeLaRue: What I don't understand is why Nigeria can't procure a long range reconisance drones or heat seeking jet that can identify the locations of massed terrorists.
I know these military grade equipment are not easy to buy since countries that manufacture them often restrict their sale, but that is not an excuse.
I am sure South African defense companies will produce drones that can do 300 km round trips if they have a contract.
Also, why can't Nigerian university scientists do any practical thing to help in the production of long range drones
Nigeria's matter is tiring. the issue at the bolded is Funding. These kind of projects require funding from the federal government. The government is more concerned in buying cars and funding election campaigns than sinking funds into anything meaningful . Have you seen the budget for the year? Over 10 billion for cars and just 200 million or thereabouts for healthcare, education. |

Politics › Re: If My People Want Me To Join APC, I Have No Choice – Adamawa Gov, Fintiri by GeneralOuki: 1:49pm On Feb 13 |
Putindbutt: His soul is already in APC, just a matter of time. Remember this is Atiku's state and this Governor is really dealing with him. He has stripped Atiku off the title of Waziri. Atiku is no longer Waziri of Adamawa, if you addressed him as Waziri, you're committing a crime.
This coming election, Atiku is going to lose in Adamawa state 100%. Fintiri is cutting him down to size. He did not join Atiku in ADC and also took all PDP structures in the state away from Atiku long before Atiku ran away to ADC.
Atiku, Kwankwaso, Elrufai, these were once the godfathers in their state but today, they have been rendered irrelevant by their godsons. They believe if you want to work against Tinubu, you're our enemy because no godfather has been able to give us the kind of moral, political and financial support and freedom of Governance like Tinubu.
Tinubu sees all the Governors as friends and partners unlike OBJ who bullied and harassed them. Even till date, Tinubu extends hands of fellowship to his old class of 99 and invite them over to Aso rock for dinner and brainstorming.
Why do you think two major political allies of Peter Obi refused to join him in ADC?. Obi has nothing to offer them, not even leadership. Gov Otti did not follow Obi and his body language supports Tinubu for second term. You also heard him support the President tax reforms.
Obi's former VP candidate also refused to follow him and his body language is gradually tilting towards Tinubu. This same Datti Ahmed was one of the biggest critics of Tinubu. He was on TV inciting the judiciary against swearing in Tinubu. He has also on several occasions violently attacked the President. And recently, the President approved Baze Aviation University for him. I believed he was shocked, he couldn't believe it.
Then he came out this week to say no opposition leader has the common sense like President Tinubu!.
Bro, Tinubu is a different breed, he doesn't play politics of bitterness and vendetta. As long as you don't incite the people in a violent and bloody revolution in your criticism, you're good to say whatever you want.
And this is why Bitter people and election losers do not understand why people from all walks if life love Tinubu and are gravitating towards him. They think hate and bitterness is the key to victory but they don't know that Success does not mix with hate and bitterness. And that's why their defeat in 2027 will be a special day for me and all lovers of Nigeria. All of these and yet you people are scared of realtime electronic transmission of results. Do you know Why APC are scared of realtime electronic transmission of results? Because it will render all these defections totally useless. |

Yemmysworld91: Let me respond to the second paragraph only and I will do that with a question.
Why do you think the North decided that a Yoruba man must be president in 1999? Two of the major parties then had Yoruba men as presidential candidates.. The north knew the country will be hot if they don't pacify the Yorubas following the death of Abiola.. What you people call cowardice by the Yorubas is diplomatic warfare. Whereas your constant chant of wars from the pre-civil war till date is seen as barking dogs. Note that I'm not in support of Peter Fayose, that's his opinion but you don't have to come for his whole tribe Which kind cut and join history is this bayi? It was not the North that chose Yoruba in 1999, it was Alex Ekwueme. Ekwueme was handed the PDP presidential ticket but he rejected it and instead handpicked OBJ to be the party flag bearer in order to pacify the Yoruba after the June 12 wahala. Obj became party flag bearer because Alex Ekwueme, an Igbo man, chose him over his own ambitions. |

Sports › Re: Eniola Aluko Attacks Ian Wright By Accusing Him Of Disrespect As War Continues by GeneralOuki: 4:45pm On Feb 10 |
OLAADEGBU: Ian Wright should cut his teeth managing a football team like the likes of Gary Neville and Thierry Henry before claiming to be a good pundit. If managing a football team especially at the highest level was easy all pundits would have been managers. Let Ian Wright go and manage the Jamaican National team and then come back as a pundit for real football fans to take him serious instead of dragging punditry in the women’s game. You be.... Why are Nigerians like this? Why do we like to talk authoritatively on matters we have zero knowledge/understanding of? Who told you that one has to be a coach to be a good pundit? The people you even mentioned ( Henry and Neville) terrible terrible coaches in Monaco and Valencia respectively. And only Henry is a good pundit, Neville is terrible in that field too, he's only good in commentary. The guys at CBS, Kate Scot and Carragher are good pundits, Big Meeks is just there as comic relief... But none of these guys ever coached a team let alone a big one. What makes you a good pundit is your general understanding of the game and ability to break it down and analyse a game of football in a way that is relatively easy for a layman (viewers at home)to understand. You don't have to be a coach to do this, just have a good grasp of the game and articulate enough to break it down. |
