Babangidapikin: What is there request , if it is sensible then Governor should do something to get them out of there... If it's sensible? Really?? As in.... Really? A serious government that really wants to secure the lives of it's citizens would agree to whatever demands these people have, after they guarantee that they will not hurt any of the captives. The government would use the communication signals to map out the exact location of these people, then track or surround(depending on how mobile the terrorists are) them without giving up their own locations. Then immediately they receive whatever demands they requested and have fred the all the captives, the security operatives should swing into action neutralise these terrorists. The ones that are captured should be made to divulge every bit of information and be used to track the other groups on the Forest. A serious government would do this, but unfortunately we don't have such in Nigeria. |

professore: I never said I am okay with the police harassment and never will I encourage it, who knows who might be next?
But police harassment is real, even to those who live right. How much more those who don't? And I am not saying vibrators mean you are not living right, but my statement is a different angle entirely, that is why the second line was put there. Your statement completely ignored the real issue which is police harassment and instead attacked the victim of said harassment. In other words, you were tacitly justifying the police harassing the citizen for the possession of a vibrator. |

Namaster: EXCELLENT!
This is the WAY.
Children CANNOT go from school to TERRORISTS' den and everything will remain business as USUAL.
The WHOLE of Oyo and ALL the country should have been SHUT DOWN immediately the attack happened.
But Nigerians are too USED to calamity.
Nigeria has Airforce. Nigeria has Army. Nigeria has Navy. Nigeria has DSS. Nigeria has NSCDC. Nigeria has US Military.
Yet children remain CAPTURED by illiterate TERRORISTS who use them to create TORTURE porn on Social Media.
How hard is it to DUMP all these UNIFORMED forkers in the forest until they EMERGE with those CAPTIVES or NOT emerge at all.
The degree of INSECURITY in Nigeria right now is UNPRECEDENTED. Yet the ONLY time the President deemed it fit to declare a State of Emergency was to address Political Rascality.
MADNESS! The only time he did a security shake up was when his life was threatened. |

So the purpose of this thread is to gloat over the igbos as if they're the only ones suffering the harsh economy and insecurity problems in the country. I don't think I've ever seen a more f©®Li$h set of people in my life. Instead of you to worry about the problem bedeviling you and your entire region you're more interested about how the other people are going to cope. Don't worry about the igbos, they know themselves and are more well prepared to face anything more than any other region in Nigeria. They have survived far worse circumstances and they will breeze through whatever comes after the election. |

Chai, comments here also shows that many people here do not know too... This one is just pure ignorance. When I read the complaint it hit me how terribly ignorant a lot of people are in this country. WEAC no dey record F9; results for certificates, they should have consulted with the WEAC board before going public with their ignorance. That WEAC result sha is bad, very very Bad! How can a Yoruba person get F9 in Yoruba? |

professore: is there anyone who wishes to give birth to such? I don't patronize such, it's funny how you people generalize. If you move about with vibrators just go and get married simple, otherwise Nigeria police go just they harass you any how This is a backward mentality and all it does is to encourage the police to overstep and harass citizens out of prejudice. It's a sad thing that people like you are okay with police harassing law abiding citizens just because they do not conform to your societal standards. This is the reason why we have the kind of politicians and security operatives that we have in this country. |

God will judge all the politicians that spoilt our economy and made the lives of youths/adults miserable and frustrative (if there is any English like that). Is it a crime to not get married? How is it anyone's business whether how an adult chooses to live their lives? You people should please stop with all these archaic thinking abeg, it's getting really embarrassing. Possession of vibrator is not a crime in federal republic of Nigeria, and that policeman is overstepping. |

EmmyMaestro: These ones will be part of "Team I don't Need a Man". After playing with vibrators, they will come out and say a man cannot satisfy me.
This type of women deserve those guys that drink burantashi before the main action. That's not the bone of contention here, whether someone wants to be with a man or not shouldn't be any one's business. The main discussion here is whether possession of vibrator institutes an arrest? The police here are clearly overstepping their boundaries and should be cautioned! I don't know why a lot of Nigerian men are so archaic with their thinking and mentality. |

Amaechi is an Igbo name, Rotimi is a Yoruba name. Is Rotimi Amaechi Yoruba or Igbo?
Next time, Ned will get sense and not support unpopular causes. Ojo is an name, That's my classmate's name back in primary school, he was from Enugu. Rotimi us not an Igbo name but Amaechi is Igbo name. You can know people's ethnicity through their native names, traditions, cultures or languages. If you bare igbo names, observe Igbo traditions, and speak Igbo then you're an Igbo person. The people in Anioma check all these boxes. MEGAWATCH: Nigeria is not a country, it is a company called ROYAL NIGER COMPANY.
Nigeria police was created to protect the company and its owners, not the workers ( poor citizens).
And like former president Jonathan once said that every force in Nigeria is created to protect those in government position and the rich in Nigeria.
That's why Nigeria will never run as a country because Nigeria was created out of a company and are still operating a system that protects the owners of the company.
😭😭😭😭😭😭 That's why everyone aspiring CEO presidential candidate goes to Chatham house for job interview. Even the military was an instrument of colonial conquest. The Brits (Taubman Goldie CEO of royal Niger company, Lugard, Glover, etc) used them to conquer, massacre the locals and burn down their settlements. That's why up till today, the Nigerian military treats the civilians very poorly, brutalising and killing them at any chance they get. It's because its origin was not out of a patriotic spirit to protect the motherland but as an oppressive instrument upon the people. |
