BizLeader:You passed through school but school didn't pass through you, which is a shame. MTN is a multi national company worth trillions of Naira. Comparing their expenses with a political party is just straight stewpidity. |
PHIPEX:unless he doesn't harbor any more political ambitions after his governorship tenure elapses, that's where the people are waiting for him. He's gradually building resentment from the people who are going to form his major voting block for when he aspires for other political positions. |
Ezeama400:Soludo is probably one of the most stewpid Governor Anambra have ever elected. |
Bluna:This is the dumbest set of lawmakers we've ever had in the history of this country |
pdppower:This current labour party is not an opposition, their are another wing of the APC. Notice how they keep presenting Igbo men as presidential candidate? It's just reduce Peter Obi's Igbo block votes |
Image123:So in other words, you don't give a f∆ck what happens to those kids and their teachers. |
SmartPolician:They even have the means to contact the bandits. |
EmekaBlue:Man o war too dey do.i remember back then in Absu, my friend went to the tap to fetch water but one man o war girl came and jumped the line over my friend and wanted to fetch before him, my friend will not have that and threw her gallon out of the line. The girl went over to my friend and slapped him, my guy no even waste time in returning a thunderous slap on her face and before we know what's happening some man o war boys close by came and bundled my friend to their guard room. I wasn't there when it happened but someone alerted me and my other friends about what was happening, sharp sharp we gathered all the hostel guys to the man o war guardroom and demanded for an immediate release of my friend otherwise we will ON film for them right there. When they saw that the crowd was much and was ready to go Irate they had no choice but to release him. And we warned them against future infringment on students rights in the campus. For ABSU we no dey take bullshit. If you do anyhow men fit burst your head, we no too care whether you be man or war or not. |
Itzlinda:Anything that's not in Billions of compensation is a joke! |
FreeStuffsNG:He asked you a very simple question but because you're very dishonest individual you ignored the question with ad hominem. |
Penguin2:If we're serious on this country this is more than enough to start a nationwide protest against INEC compromise, with investigations on how that information got Lere. This is a very serious breach of trust by INEC, the opposition should take this very serious. |
FreeStuffsNG:SE has the least population? You're a joker |
Minjim:This is a serious comprehensive problem on display right here. He exonerated Peter because Peter didn't mock anyone nor did he post any pictures or mention anything about To kidnapping victims. |
Counterigbolies:What is this stewpid comment even saying? This sit at home was in solidarity to the millions who died during the Biafra war. The igbos still remember and mourn their dead, The SW however are not exactly concerned about their dead and kids still in kidnappers den. The SE people don't know how to cover evil, they speak against it no matter who is affected, whether it's Yoruba, Hausa, Igala etc, the Igbos will speak against that evil. But SW people will rather cover and to some extent protect evil just to not bring criticism to One man. |
BrickandLace:Are you people dumb? Peter Okoye did not mention any state neither did he post anyone's pics in his tweet. It's literally up there for you all to see, the pictures that were posted of the dead teacher was a reply to Peter's tweet. |
TokoEkambi:Oga try write in your native language, we manage use Google translate to translate am.. because this English is definitely not for you o |
TokoEkambi:This is where comprehension came to die. It is because of comments like this that they still demand IELTS exams from Nigerians . |
Azazyel:When was the last time you read a news of kidnapping In SE |
[quote author=seunmsg post=139564053] The entire fulani community in Ijebu should also be removed and sent back to the north. For where!!? You people must enjoy ONE NIGERIA |
Eba50:imagine o just 5 years sentence for banditry and kidnapping. This country is a disaster |
mascot87:He's not saying that it's his businessi oo. He's just saying that you people should enjoy yourselves well well.. abi you no want enjoy yourselves again? But tell the mods to stop pushing kidnapping and bandit activities on SW to the front page because it's none of our business, that's a matter the SW people to deal with. Pushing it to the front page is inviting people to comment on matters that does not concern them as you said. Sense have finally evaporated from people's heads due to bigotry and Sycophancy. Tueh!! |

Kalulu44:Rashford is good but not very good, a very good player at £30m is a steal, so many clubs would be fighting to sign him if he was an excellent player. His attitude is not the only issue with him, he's one dimensional. Antony is doing far better than he did in United, he's a star player for Betis. Rashford didn't influence Sancho, Sancho already had attitude issues even while at man city, Dortmund complained about his attitude even before we signed him, the guy is just a Arrow. And Rash could'nt have influenced Lingard who's is way older than him, besides, Lingard's issues were strictly his footballing abilities which were very average. Our next best player at that time were Martinez, Casemiro, even Garnacho was benching Rashford for Pete's sake! Garnacho took over the LW and pushed Rashford to the RW. Amorim Also complained about his pressing and some parts of his game which was why he shifted Bruno to 10 alongside Garnacho, then tried Rashford as 9 which didn't work out. Barca not paying for him has nothing to do with his age , he is 28 and in his prime years with a lot of experience. £30m is not paying over the odds for such a player and how can you even say that he's very good and then in the same comment say that £30m is paying over the odds for the same player? It doesn't make sense. He has even agreed a 40% cut in wages still you think paying £30m is over the odds. Let me do the maths for you. Rashford Will be earning £300k in wages now that United are in the UCL next season if he agrees to a 40% cut in wages to sign for Barca that's £120k per week minus bonuses So if he signs a 3 years contract with Barca that would be: 120k X 3 years= £6, 257, 160 Now if they amortize his £30m fee based on the contract length Barca will be spending £12m on Rashford. Now compare that with Gordon who they got for £69m and reported on about 270k-300k wages on a 5 year contract: 300k X 5 years = 15, 642,900. Amortizing that 5 years contract on £69m = £15m plus. So Barca will be spending roughly £25m on Gordon. In no way is Rashford's fee over the odds especially when you compare it with what they're going to be paying for Gordon. No way! Gordon and Cunha are better at the basics, they're also more suited for teams that likes to press unlike Rashford. Gordon is actually Rashford's direct rival both at national team and club ( if he signs for Barca) You're beating your chest but statistics says otherwise, Barca, united and even Aston villa don't really care how hard anyone beats their chest, they look at the stats and Rash is found lacking. |
Goonnik:Are you people even listening to yourselves? What kind of stupidity is going on in Nigeria ![]() |
simpleseyi:The kind of dumb things I read on this site, no wonder that country is the way it is. |
Counterigbolies:is Nnamdi kanu still moving around as a freeman? What sort of dumb whataboutisim is this? |
Kalulu44:I strongly disagree with you. No one who watched Cunha can ever say he doesn't dribble or rarely dribbles, that's one of his trademark Let's check the stats: Cunha https://www.fotmob.com/players/863098/matheus-cunha Rashford https://www.fotmob.com/en-GB/players/696365/marcus-rashford Everything I spoke about the two players is revealed more when you checkout their stats. While playing in a tougher league, Cunha has 44 successful dribbles compared to Rashford 's 30, Cunha's dribble percentage is 48.4% while Rash's is 34.9%. Cunha has won 164 duels while Rash has only 67, Cunha won 28 aerial duels and Rash won just 4. Their defensive contributions are a world apart, Cunha has 212 defensive contributions while Rashford has just 27, Cunha has a 39 tackles and Rash who rarely ever Sacrifices for the team has just 8, ball recovery is another aspect where Cunha dwarves Rashford, he has 127 while Rashford has just 44 because he rarely ever tracks back. If goals are the only thing that makes a forward good in this age of football then why is Barca going for Gordon and not signing Rashford permanently? Besides, the season Cunha got all those goals he matched the record for the most goals scored by a Brazilian in a season which was shared by Firmino. Rashford scored 28 goals and not 30, and that was during a purple patch period and when he was angling for a new contract. And he got 8 assists. That performance was extraordinary for him and not the norm which is why he's been unable to replicate that record or even come anywhere close to it since then, and that was about 4 years ago. Cunha didn't have double goals and assists this season because: 1. He played mostly in the PL, united got knocked out of cup competition very early and there were no European competition unlike Barca, so Cunha played less games than Rashford. 2. EPL is a much tougher league compared to La Liga, there are more spaces and more time on the ball and less physical. So attacking players get to shine better than in the EPL... Antony went to Betis and immediately became a star. If Rashford was our best player after Bruno the club wouldn't have let him go on loan, and if he was that valuable they wouldn't have let him go to another loan at Barca, and united would have been asking for more money instead of the meagre £30m they're demanding. United is not missing Rashford, our football didn't turn worse, it became better after he left. That says a lot about how not so good he is. A player with 14 goals and 14 assists for £30m is a steal, yet Barca are dragging their feet here and instead going for Gordon and potentially Bernardo Silva. It says a lot. Rash is probably more skillful than Cunha but Cunha is a better footballer than Rashford. Quaresma was more skillful than Beckham, but Beckham was a superior footballer than quaresma. I don't know if you understand where I'm going, having skills is one thing, but if you're not good with the basics then that skill is just nothing. Rashford might have a few good games like against PSG and so but those are one or two games against teams that allow him space to shine. PSG plays an open football, an attacking player with pace will do well against them, we saw that in their game against Bayern in the semi this season. Olise and Diaz were having fun. And lol.. Rashford is shít as a 9, Ten Hagg tried him there in his second season and he was just poor at it, he couldn't read the game well, can't create space for himself and has no striker instincts, I mean even Rashford himself said he prefers playing from the wings than as a striker. Rashford is just overhyped. If he was that good, united wouldn't have let him go on loan twice. If he was any good, Barca would have signed him by now especially since he agreed a 40% cut in wages. |
Angelfrost:Cunha and it's not even debatable. One would think that Barca going for a player like Gordon should have made that abundantly obvious for anyone. Rash is just a one trick pony. Give him space and he shines, deny him that space he becomes ineffective because he doesn't read the game well and operates solely based on instincts, he doesn't carry the ball well nor protect it well which leads to him losing the ball under minimal pressure. He doesn't press, so when he loses the ball he just stands there or jogs while the team is being counter attacked. Rashford has a tunnel vision, he dribbles with his face down, that's why he only cuts and shoots while ignoring a teammate in a better position, this affected Hojlund so much and made him look worse than he was, it didn't help the Garnacho was of the same archetype as Rashford. Compare that with Cunha who reads the game well, carries the ball better and with better conviction, ball control and wider vision able to pick out players in better positions, presses well and tries to recover the ball when disposed, he also comes back to help the defence unlike Rash who doesn't like tracking back. How many times this season did we see Cunha covering for Luke Shaw and dribbling from deep in his own half? We rarely saw that from Rashford. If Rashford was any good, Barca would have signed him immediately, but they went for Gordon and are currently looking to sign Bernando Silva. That says a lot. |
frankson1:Yes o na him. He nearly give everyone for our house high blood pressure during that Sydney Olympics. |
Kalulu44:No. His state of mind is not the only issue with Rashford, his footballing ability is questionable. He doesn't read the game well and relies on mostly instincts, which sometimes could be a great quality to have but most of the time it's a liability especially for a player with tunnel vision like Rash. He needs space to operate, deny him that space and he becomes ineffective and neutralised, and with his poor dribbling at close quarters he runs into players and loses the ball easily and when that happens he just stands there, rarely making any attempt to win the ball back, just jogging while his team gets countered. He doesn't like pressing and that's why Barca bought Gordon who's a lower quality player. Compare that with Cunha who although not being a natural winger, has a far superior footballing ability than Rash. He reads the game well, presses, carries the ball far better than Rash, protects the ball and has a wide range of vision. Cunha raises his head and finds players inside the box unlike Rash who's always faced down, ignores his teammates in a better position and just cuts in and shot. Cunha is more vasatile, he can play in the 10, LW and upfront. Rash can only play in the LW despite starting his Career as a striker. Manchester United's attack looks far more effective and dynamic with Cunha than with Rash. |
Seunpapa65:He's coming back to Old Trafford by 15th June, we go use am do auction for transfer market. Over hyped Pius Ikedia |
