Arkmanbuddy: Desmond Elliot is fighting against the structure that brought him to power, the same structure he used to win three times before now. If he had invested in the people, his constituents , he wouldn't be the one campaigning for himself like an activist, the people would have been the ones doing that.
I hope he survives this politically. Even if he had done well by the people, if Tinubu says he should step down, his people will align with Tinubu's wishes and abandon him. It's like you people don't understand the kind of politics they play over there. |

Magabush1: I am currently staying at elelenwo close to Kingsley chinda family house and I can say ina authority that Kingsley china doesn't even have a borehole constructed in his constituency in 12 years. Why not look for someone with developmental mindset. Most of these politicians live on road with potholes everywhere. That have no political value apart from their godfathers using money to place them in position of authority. It's a sorry state that a whole state will be mortgaged because of greedy and selfish politicians. They think they will take all the money to the grave. It's well It is not well, Rivers state should fight this with their votes. Vote a different party that is not APC and PDP in the governorship and state house of rep elections. Our docility is what emboldens these people. |

AustineE1: So Tinubu and Wike will make the choice for over 3million Rivers people, this is comical and the circle of mediocrity and bad governance continues. Nigerians have been taken for granted for too long! This country is a huge joke, all I see is criminal capture of state. If opposition parties like ADC and NDC are smart this is their golden opportunity to take the reigns in Rivers state, and If the People of Rivers state are sensible enough, they should shun both the PDP and APC candidates and vote for a different party. |

Putinofrussia: Every sane person knows that it is directed at Tinubu and his people and this is why they are fixated on attacking his people even in the North Central out of their usual domain but God always triumphs. They are being decimated in their numbers. They and their devilish cohorts shall be totally eliminated. t is a war and we shall triumph. Every sane person knows you're talking absolute nonsense! They have been attacking Benue, Plateau and some parts of North west, these places are not Tinubu's people ( Yoruba) so what the heck are you talking about? It is this Sycophancy and playing politics with the lives of the people that emboldened these terrorists to continue wrecking havoc all over the country while your president is busy gallivanting all over the globe. |

Don't mind that APC shsjisb It's that Sycophancy that brought us to this point. lawani: You come to me to say somebody is bad and I help you remove him to place you there and I allow you to have two shots. I now got there and you are going back to the same person to stop me from having two shots? And that is not enough to you for someone to fight over? Are you serious right now? So who is going to fight the war? Because in your scenario it's going to be Yoruba Vs All the rest of Nigeria. And not even all Yoruba support Tinubu, so I fail to see how this is going to lead to any war. Unless you mean that the Yoruba are going to see it as a betrayal and break away from Nigeria. Trust me if that happens then it's going to a very quick balkernisation of the country because Some other regions are waiting for that golden opportunity to pull out. The north is not going to fight on two fronts, besides they are not exactly as united as we're meant to believe, Tiv, idioma, and other minorities are not going to help them here. Everything will just scatter jeje. But I don't even think that this scenario is going to happen, but if it does, there's not going to be any war, just everyone going their separate way. |

This tribal politics of hate and division just doesn't make sense. This is rich coming from Chief tribalists. It is you people that have always brought tribalism into everything! Some times People forget this is a very powerful and rich woman a whole director of Shell for that matter. Is the crimes she's being prosecuted for commited against the UK government or the Nigerian government? If the EFCC and FG were serious they should have asked for her to be extradited to Nigeria to face the Nigerian law. Even her defence lawyers are asking the same question why she's being prosecuted in UK |

Because she is not a northerner they want to crucify her, whereas she is ijaw, her place is where all the oil and gas resource is exploited in Nigeria. Free Diezani. Why should they even try any Nigerian citizens for crimes committed in Nigeria against the Nigerian people? Are we an independent and sovereign nation or still subservient to the British crown? |

shortgun: The UK is always quick to prosecute southerners for corruption but Northerners who have stolen trillions since 1960 are never prosecuted.
The recharge card vendor, who later became Buhari's private secretary stole trillions and he's hiding in the same UK When it comes to hypocrisy and double standards no one plays it like the Brits, no one. They wrote the book on that sh!t. But my confusion in this whole trial is .... Why the hell is Alison being tried in London for the crimes she allegedly committed in Nigeria and against the Nigerian people? If this doesn't scream "neo colonialism" I don't know what does. If Nigeria is truly an independent sovereign nation then the UK have no rights whatsoever to try any of Nigerian citizens for crimes committed in Nigeria. |
