On top their money? Did they tell you that they paid for the pilgrim? That's government money, in other words, OUR money.

This is not a political post oh,I am just a simple car guy
This is what I've noticed too. Cars that were selling for 8-10m are now going for 6m and below, I'm seeing cars of 2m that were priced at 5m just two years ago.

There's no other better indicator of a tanked economy than the purchasing power of the middle class.

I agree with this analysis except you were silent on NDC and South South votes or assumed Peter Obí would hold his votes in the South South.

I genuinely don't see a Peter Obi ticket getting that 25% anywhere apart from Delta state this time round. I can't see him winning any South South state either.
He strands more likely to win more states in the SS compared to last time. Delta state will definitely go to Obi in the upcoming election.
Tinubu got those SS votes because people weren't exactly against his candidacy, he was untested and relatively unknown. But now everyone knows what Tinubu is made of and they don't like it, his economic policies are his greatest undoing, it has reduced a lot of people to beggars and they're itching to vote against him.
Do not downplay the suffering that people are going through and don't underestimate the anger in people's hearts towards Tinubu's government.

This can not happen in Nigeria. There's too much tension, division for this to happen. The country's existence is constantly sitting on a keg of gunpowder, anyone too ambitious to try this will set it off and that would be the end.

Where did God say so? Can you quote it?
22 “Set aside a tithe—a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Then go to the one place where the Lord your God has chosen to be worshiped; and there in his presence eat the tithes of your grain, wine, and olive oil, and the first-born of your cattle and sheep. Do this so that you may learn to honor the Lord your God always. 24 If the place of worship is too far from your home for you to carry there the tithe of the produce that the Lord has blessed you with, then do this: 25 Sell your produce and take the money with you to the one place of worship. 26 Spend it on whatever you want—beef, lamb, wine, beer—and there, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families are to eat and enjoy yourselves.

Again, I don't know this man and I don't care but I disagree with you about manmade this or that. I don't believe in sheeple. There are those guys who wear aprons while their oga is using bodyguards, if they choose to be like that, all the best to them. What I won't accept is that certain places don't have rules. I don't believe in that.

If the rule in your house is that you must call me before coming, I should respect that. I won't call you a charlatan for that rule neither will I insult those who go there if I prefer surprise visits. There is freewill and because of people like this, there are consequences too. Have you seen someone heckling a comedian or panelist while they are speaking to an audience? It's freewill but there are rules to these places. Indiscipline is when you cannot obey rules or regulate yourself with other people.

You're not getting it. Asking people to not nourish themselves in your presence is shows you're an egoistic control freak, which is what most of these MOGs are. Not even God has ever asked that of any man.

The freedom to go out and drink water is when it's absolutely necessary, things we couldn't do in the presence of ordinary governor let alone president,we are comfortably doing it in the presence of God.
So if it's not necessary then you don't have the freedom to go and do whatever? And who determines when it's necessary, the pastor or you?

You can go on and about in the presence of God because God doesn't see that as a problem, he instructed the Hebrews to eat, drink wine and enjoy themselves in His presence.

Discipline refers to training that produces obedience, self-control, or order, often involving rules and, sometimes, punishment for violations. It encompasses both internal self-regulation (the ability to act in spite of distractions) and external regulation (enforced rules).

It is free will to not obey the rules by not attending. Don't you think so?
It is also free will to choose not to obey such rules in the church.

Here's the thing, if people start obeying such man made rules by walking out of the church auditorium to eat or drink, this same charlatan will order them to not leave because they in the presence of God and claim that it's disrespectful to leave their seats during worship.

Muslims don't drink water, eat or chew gum n mosques during their prayers...By so doing, they show by example how others should respect their religion and Prophet

If Christians choose not to respect their own Jesus by behaving anyhow in Church, then what basis do they have to demand such respect from others?

If these same Christians are before even a Local Government Chairman, they won't be eating, drinking and chewing gum in his presence undecided

I don't like Pastor Ibiyeomie, but but he is right on this one..
God ordered the Hebrews to eat and enjoy themselves in his presence, Jesus fed thousands of people during a sermon.

Eating in the presence of God is not disrespect, neither is it a sin. Humans are just pilling on man-made laws and doctrines on people. Pastors will come to the pulpit with a bottle water and occasionally drink it to wet his throat but then tell the congregation to not drink or eat? That's hypocrisy

He is 100% right on this one.
Most Nigerians are not disciplined.
Unless on medical ground, it disgust me when I see people come to church with snacks and drinks for a church program thsts less than 3 hours.
Even of you're coming with a toddler, as long as the were fed before coming out, they should be able to hold on for 3 hours and this practice of coming to church with food is common amongst poor people (no disrespect intended).
As a Catholic, I know I won't stay in church for more than 3 hours.
Sometime last year, my family and I went to a church program and during prayer my husband and I go distracted for few minutes.
In less than 2 minutes i notice that my baby (a toddler) was holding cheese balls.
I asked the woman behind us and she confirmed that she was the one that gave her (i almost ran mad) when she said she gave my child snacks because first of all, you don't know the feeding program of a parent on their child so how dare you give my baby food without my permission.
Secondly, it shows how undiscipline you're as a parent if your child (if not sick) can't stay for 3 hours without putting something in their mouth and it even more disgusting if it's an adult that's eating in the church.
My baby was once crying and a woman asked me to go and buy her biscuits (she comes to church with snacks and carbonated drinks every Sunday) i no just answer am, pamper my pikin to stop cry.
This is because you really don't understand the religion yourself. There's absolutely nothing wrong in eating in church. I challenge you to show me one passage where people were told not to eat or drink in church. In fact, if we're going by the old testament, God himself ordered the Hebrews to eat, drink and enjoy themselves right in his presence. Jesus in the new testament fed thousands of people during a sermon, but here we have charlatans preaching false gospels to people who don't know there left and right.

Irrespective of my personal opinion about the man...

He is right on this matter. Many Nigerians are not disciplined and don't know how to behave in public.

He is absolutely right on this one!
So how does this really work? In the morning you say feel free and be lively in the presence of God, then before noon you're ordering people to be disciplined in the presence of God. But then in the bible jesus fed thousands of people during a sermon.
I believe a lot of Christians have not really read the bible extensively and majority of Christians don't even understand the religion they're into.

There's nothing wrong with eating and drinking in the church and neither is there anything wrong with operating your device in church. It's not indiscipline, it is free will. You worship God the way you want to, as long as it's in truth and spirit.

The refereeing in England are so blatant with their corruption. Some people call it incompetence but I disagree with that, they're just very corrupt and biased. Michael Oliver and co are always fair decent in Europe, with little to no controversial calls. But when they come to the EPL you start seeing all sorts of nonsense.

If Anioma is created it will 100% be zoned to the South East region. That's the entire essence of the campaign for it's creation.

We can't deny it bro, yes I want Anioma state but don't want to be in southeast for personal reasons but it is what it is. I advised Ned people to not force it but instead ask for a referendum in 2027 alongside the general elections as it will also show people the government is taking the state creation seriously and will also drive support and turnout for Ned in the general elections but they were insulting me. Now Okowa, with a 1.5 trillion naira efccc allegation hanging on his neck is coming to displace him and all he has done.
If Anioma is created it will 100% be added to the South East region, that's the entire essence of the campaign to create it. If it's not going to be added to South east then it will not be created. There were campaigns to create a sixth state within the South east region but this was abandoned for the sake of Anioma which if created will become the sixth state and reunite the igbos across the Niger with Their kin in SE.
