There was no inflated prices The impact of rise in exchange rate is yet to affect all commodities in Nigeria. It will take time for prices of all goods and services to go up |

IFSHR: Market is not a place again..
I earn in pounds and I know what I am saying....
Your investment makes sense...and the sense is selling it at the right time....and not overstating the profit....saying your profit is 500k is overstating it....
And hope you know some banks naira card now works for foreign payment ...wema 500$ Sterling Bank 1000$ Selling now wouldn't make sense, I want to accumulate as much as #1 million naira before I sell. I have done my analysis and projections. As for the bank cards its cool if they are actually working now. It cant be compared to wired transfers, most people will want to do large volume transaction. Card is limited |

Itsrm: I'm not wrong. Someone who bought a land for 1.9m in 2018 if in a strategic location can sell it much higher than 4.2m today.
However you look at it, whatever product you decide to use as an example, you arrive at the same result.
How much was a plot of land selling in your area in 2018? How much is it now?
Again, only idiots put money in bank accounts. I don't know why you guys keep bringing that up as if its evidence of anything.
I'm not asking you not to buy dollar and keep, I'm just letting you know you're not actually making money if you have to convert it to naira to spend. The money you think you have made is just paper money. All you did is keep up with inflation
End of discussion You re pained and bitter. More screenshot of heavy money sitting in my bank account will be posted on this thread soon Watch out |

Pearl1910: Emphasis on passive income. It was a good choice.
Although actions like this is the reason the dollar keeps going up. Imagine 1,000 other people buying dollars, just to keep. demand will keep increasing and naira will keep crashing against the dollar and our economy continues to get hurt. for Naija wey we dey nobody send each other. 1. Many stocks have returned more in the last 6 weeks.
2. Buy a fast moving product from China, sell for double or even tripple of your buying cost on Jumia. . Do you have your proofs. Pearl1910: Still better off than someone who had the 1.8m and kept it in Naira. However u want to twist and turn it. It's still a better way to keep your money if the exchange rate will keep going up. Aside from driving Uber. I have been a serial entrepreneur. I have delved into so many businesses, some of the business I embarked on succeeded and some failed. A staunch risk taker when it comes to getting what I want. The worst business advice one can take is from someone who is not a business man. |

Itsrm: Of course, only an idiot will keep money in the bank in today's Nigeria. I hardly have any serious money in cash just lying around in the bank.
Once you make money, tie it down with something that can either keep up with inflation or beat it.
I'm just letting him realise he's not actually making as much money as he thinks he is. Jealousy and Envy. Which business you wan do in today's Nigeria wey go give you 500k profit in less than 6weeks ? |

IFSHR: Bro you are a seller not a buyer....you can only sell to aboki and they won't buy from you at prevailing market rate....I didn't say it won't surge, it will and we in the surge period ...very soon those high demand caused by student who needs it for one payment or other will subdue by end of August and mid September....let's talk about the rate again ....your bought at 750...as at today you can only sell at 800, or 790...aboki will want to make profit and will only buy less than the BM rate.....your investment make sense and will make more sense when you sell during the peak surge period.....just don't sleep on it....ensure you sell when it will give you great return. Have you been to the market lately ? |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by GeneralZodd(m): 5:53pm On Jul 20, 2023 |
Itsrm: This only makes sense if you'll eventually spend the foreign currency you're keeping.
Make the mistake of converting it to naira to spend and inflation has eaten up all your "gains".
E.g, If you had converted 1.9m to dollar and kept in a domiciliary account in 2018 when it was 360 naira to a dollar, you convert it at 800 today and make 4.2m naira, the only thing it will buy is the same 2005 foreign used corolla it would have bought in 2018.
The best you'll do is keep up with inflation. You're not making any money in actual terms. You are very wrong on this one. Your analysis is false. Using a car as yardstick and parameters to measure inflation in Dollar in correlation with Naira is a very big mistake. Everybody knows that auto trade is heavily depended on foreign exchange, but that's not where i will channel my money to when I eventually sell off. I dey go to put my money into real estate. That's another sure banker any investor can rely on. Money saved in Dollar and Naira can never be the same interms of inflation. Lai Lai !!! The difference is clear. Person put #4.2 million naira for bank come get #500k in less than 2 months is better than some one who put such amount in Naira account. I am 500k richer now. Mind you if I decide to convert the money into naira now now. I can buy what 4.2 million couldn't buy before because I have extra 500k on it. The ripple effect of inflation take time to affect all sector of economy |

There is an African proverb that goes: “What an old man can see sitting down, the young chaps cannot see standing up.” . Investment of $5,700 has given me #500,000 naira profit in 1month and few weeks without sweating and working for it. Mega passive income !!!No bank or Ponzi scheme can give such interest. Thank God I sticked to my decision. Alot of peeps here wanted to discourage me, but I remained adamant and resolute. |
