No high BP boss, just undue and needless argument. Uber is not the best thing to happen to men, neither is level 10. That same 300k is what some spree on a girl at Cubana the other night. Person salary... have you been to Cubana GRA at Friday and Saturday night? Nah human being like us put that empire down. If as a oil and gas dealer you are able to land a vsl, no how you won't see 300m as profit, imagine being able to do 3 vsl in a year.

Let's just strife to grow in this world, I am not satisfied or even close. Many rivers to cross (jimmy cliff), plenty talk no deh fI'll basket.
Wow. You remind of Emoney: The 5 star shipping company, I heard the dude makes #100 million per trip wayback 2018, government agencies and private businesses uses his vessels for exportation and importation of commodities. He had 2 vessels when I was told this, only God knows how many vessels that guy go get now.

I think one of the ways to outsmart them in their game is to go for apps with lesser commissions than theirs....or is their any other way?...
Offline trips will increase, drivers will prefer do offline trips to avoid paying Bolt 25% commission.

I am not a fan offline for safety reasons

To every driver, if this is the new Bolt tariff, if you drive on Bolt, you will run @ a loss. Bolt has done nothing so far.

Let's look at the numbers.

Average fuel per full work day- 25 litres. @ 185- #4,625

Average fuel- @ 488 - #12,200.

Diff in fuel cost- # 7,575.

7,575
-------- * 100% = 163.7%
4,625

That means your fuel cost has increased by 163.7%

Let's look @ fare increase.

Bolt old price - 104/km. Not sure
Bolt new price - 130/km

130 -104 = 26 naira increase in fares

26
---- * 100 = 25% increase in fares.
104

163.7% increase in cost to driver but only 25% increase on fares.

163.7% of driver versus 25% of Bolt.

Bolt cares only about their 25%. At the former old price template,Bolt's business objectives will be met. So there's no real motivation to increase fares. Driving does not make you dumb.

Be guided.
The New pricing on Bolt, Uber, Indrive and Rida should be 150 to 200 percent increase. Anything lower than that is cheating and enslavement.

Bolt will rather tell drivers that they can now be using cars of 1980 model than reducing their commission.
That bolt commission una dey see, it will never come down below than.
Much respect, boss.
grin cheesy grin. They are holding on tight to their commission. Trust me alot of drivers will outsmart them this time. N490/per litre no be beans

This is my second day of buying fuel. Same thing. Opinion no change. I changed work time. I now leave home 11-12pm get home 11-1am.

I can't lose.

Have done only 6hrs today. 6 to go
Odogwu wey dey cash out at #480/per litre. I am impressed, but I cant try this with my car at the moment. I would be working for Bolt, Mechanic and filling stations. Infact I will be doing charity driving for riders.

If 200k salary is offered to all ehailing drivers today, 99.9% will QUIT! I have been on both SIDE...The type of energy expended..No driver on rental or HP will stay, anyone that will stay would probably owned his car and have other sources of income....Do you see how driver looks or appear physically, when you order a ride, they appear drained, tired, sorrowful!! Anytime I open my app, a driver is looking for bat3 to jumpstart, another one needs wheel spanner. Even my bro that owned few cars on the platform, always looks tired and drained...I spoke to him recently to take things easy and he said for him it's not about just driving alone but do you know the amount of energy he uses to PURSUE his driver for delivery, one wahala after another. Don't let anyone drive you to your death!!!
Bro nah true talk you talk. The stress is real !

Reality hasn't dawn on alot of pilots yet, 1 week - 2weeks to come, they will know what it takes to run ehailing at N480 per litre on peanuts prices they are accepting.

May be drivers that are still accepting these rubbish are the ones that bought fuel before Jagaban remove subsidy

Just bought fuel at N490 this morning

5K fuel used to be half tank of my car before the subsidy removal.

Now 5k no even reach quarter tank. And Bolt expect me to drive low prices and still pay 25% commission. They must be joking

Nigeria is funny. How can you spend more on fuel than average income of ndi "office"
Kai ! 390k on fuel monthly. Ehailing drivers are in deep shiit, if prices are not adjusted to suit the current reality on ground.

See how car parts will skyrocket.
My brother high inflation indeed, the ripple effect will start showing up on prices of goods and services soon.

Why are you surprised? Someone here has been reminding us of the outcome of subsidy removal. He has been harmering on it and we all know that very soon subsidy will be removed!

I only pity delivery guys, but then I guess they should join the telegram group, so they can make enough profit even if fuel sells for 1k per litre.

Asides the abracadabra ∆, to be candid I think bolt is better to use now.....though a lot of riders have started complaining bitterly, only God knows how long bolt will hold this down, cos some have started using commercial buses.

Indrive and Rida are still sleeping. Opened Rida this morning and the prices are almost the same....just a slight increase, same as Indrive.

I've not worked for 3 weeks now though. I've been seriously ill. Wanted to start yesterday but couldn't get fuel. Now that it has increased to 488, na to reason wetin to use my life do remain!

God go help us!
Japa is the only good option now. This government is hell bent in making the masses poor, so that they can control them

Right now, normal fares on indrive, no indication that fuel is scarce @ all. Indrive has made riders used to dictating fares, I don't know how they will correct that, Bolt put surge, but can it be sustainable day in day out?. Cos eventually fuel will leave 185/l and approach towards 400 ish/l.

Fuel is a major cost input. Infact, fuel takes @ least 20% of the gross income, that's really significant
Indrive and rida are the wrongest apps to use now. 2 trips this morning I don make 22k on bolt, I am at home resting. By 5pm we hit the road and target 18k. Making 40,k

If the new price is 750? Nah to go park car till everything is back to shape. Else rides will treat ehailling strictly as necessity. I've been on queue for like an hour now on empty tank and it does seem like these guys will sell at all
Baba I will suggest you get fuel by all means, some filling station will still sell at #184 or at reasonable price. Because these week nah opportunity to cash out.
