deeman001:How true is this your thing? |
blackpanthar:Which one is LIFE HACKS? |
blackpanthar:How do you mean by rare contents? I want to learn o. #Planning to set up a blog soon, that's why. |
BafanaBafana:Not as you think. Those countries which weren't represented are naturally jealous of the U.S. There are many countries that want to be world power, mind you. |

“Yes, does anyone have a question on the topic we just discussed, which is sanctification?” the man in a black suit hovered over the congregation. He was there over an hour turning over sacred pages. A neatly-dressed young man raised his hand. “Okay, bro, make it quick, time is not on our side. Please, give him the microphone.” “Praise the Lord! My question goes like this: why do we have so many churches or denominations? I just want to know. This question has been on my mind for years now” he sat down and waited for a good response. “Well, your question is not related to what we just discussed. Is there anyone else with a question connected to what we discussed?” There was a muffled murmur in the congregation as each person weighed heavy issues on their minds. Some thought the question was on point; others dismissed it as irrelevant. No one stood up to say anything anyway; to say something different was an act of disorder. During his brief but exciting earthly ministry, our Lord Jesus Christ met people who had different questions about what he was teaching at the moment. Some of the questions interrupted his teaching sessions and diverted the topic to a whole new direction. The man of Galilee was not surprised, he expected it. The Son of God saw it as an opportunity to address a matter that troubles whoever had asked the question. When people with emergency cases are brought into a hospital, doctors and nurses, by principles, must pay attention to the new case. Being the Great Physician Himself, Jesus considered it a pressing issue in the life of the people who suddenly asked some questions. From his answers, all the people present learned a lot. Even his lifelong critics, the Pharisees, and Sadducees were given answers in wisdom. From the Bible, we see that some of the most beautiful and life-giving teachings that Jesus gave were as a result of a “question not related to the topic” he was discussing. The amazing thing about the Christian life is that there is a connection between all the teachings, principles and doctrines. People are hurting in the church; people have pressing problems. A lot of issues concerning life, death, marriage, dressing and so on are really disturbing the minds of many people in the congregation. The church is a ministry to the saved and unsaved. Those who have knowledge should share their knowledge of what, how, where and why things happen. Let those who have faith help move mountains and so on. We don’t have to wait for people to get things on their own sometimes; we are called to supply the lack of others. In that way, the church grows faster and the enemy will not find a feeble soul to snatch from the household of God. Those of us who minister the word should come prepared to provide remedies to all maladies through Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Avoiding questions, except we don’t have the answers, shouldn’t be a common feature. Let love reign. Remember: Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. George Hissignet |
Each year, specifically on May 1, Nigerian workers observed a work free day to mark Workers' Day. This is one of the public holidays every Nigerian has observed for as long as we can remember. But how did we come to have Workers' Day? Who invented or initiated it? Is it Nigerian or Foreign in nature? Is there something bloody or peaceful about it? Why do some religious organizations refused to give it recognition? This is how it began... Workers around the world have always asked for increased wage and reduced working hours. The treatment and overuse workers suffer in the hands of employers brought about this struggle for better life for all workers globally. In the 1860s, workers all over the world campaigned for shorter working hours. It was a historic moment! American and Canadian workers staged a strike and rallies in demand for an 8-hour work free day. Two days later, the Chicago police attacked and killed several workers. A protest against the killing was held by the workers at the Hay Market Square. While the protest was going on, someone threw a bomb. Seven policemen lost their lives and many people in the crowd got injured. Eight leaders of the workers were arrested. Four were executed, one died in prison, and the other three were sentenced for life. Later, however, they were granted pardon. To honor a day like that, the International Workers'Congress in Paris declared May 1 an eight-hour holiday in 1889.. Many countries celebrate Workers' Day on May 1 each year. In Nigeria, the People's Redemption Party (PRP) government of Kano state was first to declare May 1 Workers' Day in 1980. May 1 became an official public holiday in 1981 in Nigeria. ~George knowledgesignet © |
Hmmm.... Going by what average Nigerians have experienced and are experiencing still, some definitions may need a review to suit what we have here in Nigeria. Our Ogas are giving us wrong sides of stories so much that we don't know who is who and what is what any longer. Soon, our teachers and students will teach and write the following definitions in WAEC examinations: 1. Who is a President? A President is a man or woman old enough to be the ancestor of a nation. 2. What is Democracy? Democracy is a government of old people by the same people and forever. 3. Explain the term Legislature. A legislature is a small group of adults who come together to behave like kids in front the camera. 4. Define elections. Elections are defined as the process whereby youths under some kind of spell elect the same people ruling us since 1960 over and over. (This one makes me cry 5. Explain the term the police? The police is a large number of men and women of different age and backgrounds, who wear faded uniforms with any kind of shoes and ignorant of what they were employed to do. 6. In your own words define the army. Oboi! This is a group of malnourished and underpaid men and women who cannot defeat civilian insurgents let alone think of winning a global war. Add yours.... No be we cause am. Nigeria go beta! Keep your PVC jeje o! |
Interesting. |
Guess this vacancy is becoming common. |
We've never felt the impact of any budgets, projects or promises, so let's not feel the words of the unadvised President. |
Who still thinks that way? |
olabrad:40 kobo per word. |
olabrad:I have someone who needs an article writer for bulk work. The pay is low though. Do you mind getting in touch with him? |
olabrad:My intention isn't to hurt you, bro. |
olabrad:My brother, whether cutting deals or cutting leads, it's not proper. With all the cutting deals and joining leads, did you get the job, Oga? |
olabrad:Please, stop this level of desperation. It doesn't help writers. |
Read the content in the link. Good, but there are wrong choice of words there, and wrong use of punctuations. |
The students are the owners of their heads, but the man is the owner of the school. If the owners of the head don't agree with the owner of the school, then let them take their heads elsewhere. While what the man did may be wrong, he still has the power to decide what happens in the university. |
Seriously? |
Okay. |
GNLD apparently. |
Interested. |

What if the person does not have links? |
You need to find a mature Christian and be accountable to him at least till your ordeal is over. Very many Christians pass through this phase; some were crushed, while some came out stronger. One thing I'm sure is that this is a passing phase: it won't last forever. |
databoy247:Okay. |
