If you have Visa you are also allowed.

If you don't have Visa at hand due to the destruction in Ukraine but have done Visa registration b4, a biometric verification will be carried out and they will be offered Visa after that.

Note: UK is not part of EU. That's why they are not following EU order to open the border form All

Back to the issue:
For your information, UK is not part of EU. The main reason they left was because of this Visa issue for people coming into their territory.

Other EU countries are giving 1 to three years Visas to Ukraine refugees. People are asking UK to do the same. They said they will only do so to those who they can verify.

Now, UK is not closing it's border to Ukrainian refugees. Not alll of them as the headline portrays. Those with Visa are allowed, those without Visa (lost or forgotten etc) will have to undergo some form of biometric verification before they can be given Visa.

I don't know if most of you here just like arguing pointlessly. The headline states that all the refugees have been denied entry into UK. But it's not actually all the refugees. It's is those has never had Visa (I.e no means of verification).

I get your point. But you still don't get mine. "Fixed matches" you hear about does not exist. Not in this modern age of technology. People talk about it now because it has happened in the past.

What we have close to fixed matches now are matches whose results are manipulated by match officials to prevent the bookmarkers and related figures from losing too much money to bettors (people that play bets).

For instance if alot of people bet on a certain game. Let's say there are billions of dollars (not naira) on that game. Some shady bookmarkers or their sponsors will do all they can to make sure such match is influenced. This has been found to take place in Germany lower division match and Algeria in the past but not enough evidence to prosecute the parties involved.

The punishment for "match fixing" is so great that no one will have a real fixed match and even speak of it talk less of broadcasting it on the internet. Everyday people are losing money due to fixed match scams. It is just sad.

That's one of the many reasons people think betting is harmful. U get promised that something is sure (fixed) and you put all money thinking it's true...only to find out the hard way.
