I can begin to see the reason why Russia was so interested in the conflict between Nigeria and Niger to the extent of sending down machineries.

Israel responded as promised. They have made it clear that they would respond to any attack on their soil.

Looking at the way these terrorist attack without mercy, the solution by Israel is understandable but a more peaceful solution is needed now.

They spent 40 years in the wilderness because of their disobedience to God. They made false God which they worshipped.


But there was no Israel as a territory back then.

The whole area was called the land of Canaan. It comprises of many tribes and kings.

There was nothing like Israel back then. There was Isaac and his wife Rebecca who gave birth to twins (Esau and Jacob). They lived in the land of Canaan.

God renamed Jacob name to Israel. Through his son Joseph, they left the land of Canaan for Egypt where they lived for many generations (430 years) and their populations increased significantly. They were known as Israelites (from their fathers name Israel).

When they escaped Egypt, they return to the land of Canaan after spending 40 years in the wilderness.
But this land is huge, and occupied. So they attacked the City of Jericho first and took hold of the place. From there they attacked and took other cities.

The Gibeonites made peace with them so the Israelites did not attacked them, instead, they formed an alliance with them.


Later on, the land of Canaan was divided and different tribes maintained their territories.

Now, the land of Canaan comprises of Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, the West Bank and Gaza, part of Syria.

For your information, Judaism makes use of the Hebrew scriptures (Genesis to Malachi) same as Christianity. The Christians worship same God (Jehovah) as in Judaism.

The only exception is that Judaism doesn't believe Christ was the son of Jehovah. So they didn't not accept the new Testament (Mathew to revelation)



There is nothing Islamic about Judaism or Christianity. These religions were were already in practice long before Islam became a religion.

You can say Islam has something to do with Judaism and Christianity but not the other way round.


Christianity was developed out of Judaism around the first century. Islam was developed around the 7th century.


I know we can all get sentimental about religion. It is better to say the truth rather than hiding behind insults.
