We have to exercise more patience guys, the recruitment process is ongoing, as I've been informed.

Those that applied for Superintendent roles got interviewed 2 - 3 weeks ago. I know a friend who attended the interview in Abuja.

Three things are currently a clog in the wheels of our progress in this NNPC recruitment:

1. The new management in place...
2. The court case
3. The issue with Pengassan / contract staffers

I may not know how these issues will be resolved or when APL will start dropping, but the certainty is...This Recruitment has NOT been cancelled.

The truth is they are not in real need of new staff. They are fond of doing that, starting a recruitment and behaving like someone forced them to do it. And once a new management comes in by mistake, then the termination of the process is an absolute certainty. But what I often wonder is why contract staff will not be absorbed to meet any need for additional staff. Why should so much money be spent on personnel training which will not be so necessary if experienced contract staff are taken? Why is Nigeria so wickedly wasteful?

They are in their fathers house chilling and sipping wine
They might even reject it after it has been issued, just to go abroad and chill some more

The main reason for the delay is bcoz of this new management. They have their own plans different from the old management.

Chukkkz:
Experienced hires ought to give a month notice for resignation after apl release before induction starts which should take three weeks. Except if they dont permit them. They may also want to shorten the induction to two weeks.

Worst case is that the notifications come in anytime this year while the induction is moved to next year.

I see no reason why they should not go ahead and release apl if status quo is being maintained. The real delay to me is coming from them. The lawyer filed his suit since april and NNPC filed their counter on the 15th of October and their lawyer said he was sick and did not even regularise his counter before the court prompting adjournment. Lets watch and see sha.29th is almost here
