President Muhammadu Buhari And The Aso Rock Cabal
The conspiracy theory of the existence of cabals in Aso rock is not new to The Nigerian political atmoshere. Hitherto to this Administration there were cabals in the Aso rock. But what is bemusing and disparaging is the influence and power wielded by this present cabal in Aso rock. This cabal has succeeded in insulating and isolating the president from his comrades in the struggle to occupy the exalted seat(Presidency). Little wonder the likes of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have not been seen around the presidential villa for a very long time, even after the return of the president from his medical sojourn abroad.
What is pertinent to note is the calibre of people making allegations of exclusion from the government after given their all to enthrone this government, only for the government to be hijacked by this cabal who did little or nothing to enthrone this government. The president's wife was the first to raise an alarm only to be dismissed perfunctorily by the president as belonging to his living room, kitchen and to the ozaa room. Buba Galadima also raised similar issue of abandonment but was dismissed by the cabal as crying-wolf. Now Hamidu Ali has made another allegation while addressing members of the Buhari support organisation (BSO) that this government is run by 50% PDP loyalist at the expense of the people who worked day and night to bring president Buhari to power, Let us wait and see the response this allegation will elicit, if there is any at all.
This cabal has been enmeshed and implicated in all the scandals that have rocked this administration(The CBN/FIRS recruitment, Jude Omokre gate, MTN fine, Kachukw/Baru feud and most recently the Maina gate) since it came to power to the extent of undermining the president himself (sic) the Ibrahim Magu confirmation saga, yet the president remains adamant on sticking to this cabal at the expense of his APC comrades. This cabal has been licentious in its conduct and has left the ruling party in bitterness and a higgledy-piggledy situation. Maybe the president often dismiss these allegations as mere Newspaper reports and these newspaper reports are the information available to majority of Nigerians. Therefore if the allegations are lies concoted by "disgrunted" elements, the presidency must refute these allegations and come forth with reasonable, explicit and unambiguos explanation as keeping quiet, insulting proponents of the allegations or even joining issues amount to total disregard for Nigerians and arrogance. President Buhari needs to ratrace his steps toward running an inclusive government else he will loose whatever remains of the Goodwill and trust he enjoys with the masses as mine is already impaired and come 2019 if the president decides to go for a second term,Nigerians especially the north will shock him. We voted for Muhammadu Buhari not for Maman Daura or Abba Kyari or Even any cabal.

Much ado about the health challenges of president Muhammadu Buhari. I wonder where all this hullaballoo will get us. The media especially the social media has over bloated the issue. The president is ill and made it public, told Nigerians when he came back sometime in march this year. That he has never been that sick in his life, he cant remember ever being that sick in his entire life. He had to undergo blood transfusion and his doctors advised he get some rest and he will be going back for follow up in no distant future. The president divulged all these details himself not through his aides. Hitherto to this regime we have never had it this open, devoid of games by cabals in government.
Now the president is going back for the follow up as he had earlier intimated nigerians and transmits a letter to the National Assembly, premised on the provisions of section 145 (1) of the Nigeria 1999 constitution as amended. And went ahead to say that, the vice president shall coordinate the affairs of Government while he is away. He also via his twitter handle assured Nigerians that there will be no vacuum, the government shall function normal, that the vice president shall act on his behalf. I wonder what is so difficult to comprehend here, that the media is agog with the president's(most likely his aides) choice of language and some naysayers have tried to twist everything. Nigeria is just too sensitive and dramatic for my liking.
All we need to do is pray for God Almighty to grant mr president quick recovery, so he can come back and continue to pilot the affairs of our beloved and complicated country. In the end, the intrigues are what make us Nigerians. #TeamPMB #Getwellsoon #Onenaija #ActingPresidentOsibanjo.
