fairfora: No wahala but I advise you get your company registered first. Even if you need to start seeking painting job in a corporate world, your company must be registered because most of the educated fellows would feel more comfortable to business with a registered company. If anything goes wrong for instance, you cannot sue a private individual but a company.( remember the xteristics of a sole proprietorship?). I contracted my house building and painting to a company in Lagos, not because they were cheaper than all the walk-in painters around, who always write their numbers on the fence of a new site as ''If you need a painter, please call this number'' . The company offered me a service on their company letterhead, invoice too. I chose this because if anything goes wrong, I can sue them and claim my money back. In this case, I felt secure and more comfortable. Maybe you should also consider registering a company. It's just my advice to you as a brother. As a graduate, if you consider doing things differently, it could help a lot because your background will also take you a distance over and above those writing their numbers on every building site they see. Have a nice day. Nice, would put that into Consideration, but the lady that brought up Dis argument no get card, Abi n'a me never see am? |

fairfora: Maybe you need to pray to God for favour and a change of character. Your assurance of success all depends on how faithful and determined you are coupled with how you treat your customers. I have seen a shoe maker, a crippled man for that matter from his mum's womb in a town called Ibillo in Edo state where I served in 2002 engage in shoe making and has a house with a nice ride to cap it all and a beautiful family. His high quality shoes were being transported to various cities for sale. Meanwhile, there were able-bodied guys who were also she makers around, but could hardly boast of a bicycle. He makes shoes and sells shoe materials as well. You are entitled to your abuses and your manner speaks more than yourself. I have never seen a rude person make an headway because the way you treat your customers also determines how far you can keep such customers and then, succeed. What tastes do you apply into your painting which others lack? Have you ever thought of registering a company and printed fliers for distribution at strategic locations during traffic hours to motorists? No professional builder would give business to a fellow who does not have a registered company. because your oga wey teach you how to paint no get a company wey im regista no mean say , you too go do things the way he teach you. If you like, do painting job for a century,if your attitude and manners do not change, you could be in one place with nothing to show for it. You need a change of attitude. Ook. Noted, But all dese things u said about manner and character no follow at all. Do u know me? Know my xter? Just chill bross, cos If I start to talk u no go get mouth to open again, I beg no mention me again especially with people life history wey u read for book. |

fairfora: siddon there, dey look. There's more to it abi? People like you would never believe how hard some people could work legitimately to hit it big. If she could get just 10 pop job in 6 months, she could buy a much better car than the Lexus Jeep. I have a friend called Ngozi who's a graduate of law from a univ in the UK. She opened an online fashion shop, after looking for job in the UK without succeeding . She had a flair for fashion so she posited different designs on her page. The ever-busy Nigerians in the diaspora got to know about hear virtual online fashion shop and were always placing their orders. Ngozi would take their measurement and send to a tailor in Lagos. Customers were always paying her in advance. She'd make the dress and her siblings would package it and send to the countries where customers were located. Like jokes, this girl kept 2 tailors busy in Lagos to the extent that they couldn't take any job other than ngozi's. This is the girl I know very well so, don't think it was a cooked-up story. She suddenly dropped her quest for white collar job and focused fully on the fashion stuff. Recently she spoke to me that she's planning to open a fashion ship in the UK because her capacity has increased. She was always operating from her apartment on a laptop. Now she makes 3k pounds monthly. She's a busy lady. Let's assume she only makes profit of 1k pounds out of the 3k, multiply this by 508 naira. In 3 months, she could buy a good SUV of her choice...what about that, Hun? I know of a POP lady whom I met on VI the day my vehicle's battery ran down on Akin adesola road. Though it's been giving me a sign but was too busy to replace it. I parked near a building site and opened up my bonnet. One guy came out of the building site to see who was parked and volunteered to help me. She said oga, make I ask Madam if you go fit jump-start ur vehicle using her battery. In short, the lady came out , very young and pretty lady but with pop dust all over her apron. She offered to help. I gave her my card . By the time she gave me hers. I was humbled. She's the owner of the company with 3 guys working for her. Tell me, how much could it cost her to buy an ordinary SUV ? The vehicle shes driving was a Hyundai SUV . I advise you have a change of mentality cos the world is changing Lemme tell u something u don't know gee, am also a painter aside my degree, i've been painting for years now, how come I never buy even ordinary bicycle? Not to talk of my boss who taught me work? And the funny thing is these days the jobs are not forthcoming here in Abuja (and most cities too) and when they come they are filled with so many conditionallities, so na with this type conditions attached to the job she use blow, come take buy Suv ba? I just dey watch u as u dey talk nonsense wey u know Sabi. Am speaking from facts, what are. U speaking from? because u read online say na wetin she dey do be dis ba? N'a u really need to change ur believe system, no believe everything u read u hear! |

MIKOLOWISKA: i double dare you ,triple, fourple dare you to give me example of where demand and supply fails, just one if you cannot then there is no need to debate since you've made up your mind blindly
market
no it says if demend is higher THAN SUPPLY(you think you're smart by leaving SUPPLY out of the equation(only lazy ppl forget about supply)
how many times will i say it it is the market, the market, the market(demand and supply or you don't know what a market is,buyer and seller)
yes chain of laziness
same thing i've been saying they supplied you an education that is better(clothes cars phones salt mirror) and you demanded it now you are ""better educated abi"" why are you not supplying your own version of education(laziness,do nothing but blame white man for all your problems), and see who will demand it in marketplace of ideas instead you're here consoling yourself instead of getting out and competing fortunately nature gets rid of the lazy
i'm still waiting for your example of failure of free market system À hypothetical example would the case of fuel increase during festivity period within Nigeria. It's a very obvious that during this period transportation activities would be on d high side, why would dere b Scarcity when there's high need for fuel? Why would d price increase cos of high demand and the quantity of supply? if truly we operate a free market economy? Lemme tell you a simple logic, free market economy is only effective in most third world economy because of their dependence on the Global south. You talked about dem Giving us education and civilization, when actually we brought civilization to dis earth. If u r opportune to read How Europe underdeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney (whom d Europeans assassinated), or Wretched of the Earth by Franz Fanon who did most of his study in Europe u would understand better the plight of Africa and Africans. Mind you am not blaming the Europeans for our under development? All am saying is Dat they are the cause of it, cos they started what they couldn't finish. And most states (Country) these imperialist Europeans Created were just to satisfy their home economy. For instance in the Case of Nigeria the British Government paid the royal Niger company a certain amount of pounds just to take over the territory. U think the money was just for the fun of it? |

MIKOLOWISKA: World market price? Yes Who are the determinants of the price? Did you not take economics in school Supply and demand determines price The same price they buy all over the world You cannot determine price yourself Only market can How com they didn't use their people when they needed the human resources to build their industrial base? Why didn't they give their people the works in their farms? They saw dumb ppl to do it for less cost
Howhow much is oil all over the world abi do they pay you less for it
Do they not pay world market price for whatever they get from you Abi you expect them to add value when their own ppl need jobs? We where not, we were very hard working, that was why slave trade boomed in Africa than any other continent. Very lazy They built ships and guns and mirrors You were still running around naked So they thought you were monkeys so they enslaved you
Every one is greedy even African . Africans are just lazy waiting for mamma to fall from heaven These System was developed by who? Nobody It just is Supply and demand is a natural law We had a well built System, our educational system was one of the best, where we talk about the Uni in Tumbukutu, Egypt was also another country that had a sound system and it was on record that civilization started from there. African economic System was centered around communal belongings. And yet look where it got you, failure CommunalIsm doesn't work Ppl natural selfishness will always win That is why some kings captured other tribes and sold as slaves to collect mirror and salt Europeans had individual pattern as their predominant system. ( I recommend you read "wretched of the earth. By Franz Fanon)
All men are born individual It is lazy ppl that created communalism so that they can do less work and get the magas to do more
There are only two systems of economy, capitalism and socialism (which one is foreign, which one is African)
Communalism, the European devise all these economic system in other to just keep siphoning africa's resources. Which African reps was present at the Berlin Conference where African territory was shared among Erupeans? Have you ever seen a lazy coward sharing with the hunters or the farmers They conquered us because we refused to defend ourselves because we were forming commune instead of dealing with real world that's out to get you Animals adapt or die We refused to adapt
What are our values besides socialism and capitalism? The change in the world order brought about the new phase of followism. And the hunger wave brought that into foresight. Africa was never liked this, and we that read history back then in School knows that better, that's why they are trying to erase history from our curriculum they don't want us to know how in-human and greedy the Europeans are. They are greedy and human agreed But we are greedy and lazy Laziness is our problem See today ppl are being killed in their farms and are still afraid to defend themselves and their families Nature has away of getting rid of lazy creatures
what about the followers that vote for rice and useless civil servants Go back and read ur history book. The so called demand and Supply techniques dosen't work in all scenario. Who are the determinant of the demands? And that same economics talk about the idea of higher demands and higher price. In other words if the demand is high the price would be increased. The demand for our natural resources is high but the price is heavily controlled by the white Bourgeois. Africa is in Chain. A very long one that started since the invasion of Europeans. Digest this picture quote below and lemme know what you think
