I was watching television with my 8 year old nephew when they showed a condom on tv. The next question he asked me was "uncle, what is that " and i became mute because i did not know how to explain the function to him because of the technicality involved. I later told him i dont know which is not really a good ansher because that would only make him want to find out more. So my question is how do you explain the meaning of a condom to an 8 year old boy without sounding raw.

In my candid opinion Machester united, Chelsea and Manchester city are clear favourite to get the first three spots in the premier league. The question is which team would be the 4th to join them in the champions league next season. Most people would agree that the three teams contending for that 4th spot are Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool. So my question is which team has the highest chance of making the top four out of these three teams considering their form and the players they have signed in the transfer window.

In my opinion this kind of match would show whether liverpool can really fight for the top 4.

i am a law student at Obafemi Awolowo University where currently in my class the population is about 350 and the qouta for my school is 250. In another class in the faculty the population is 400+. The school authority knowing that the qouta is 250 still go ahead to admit more than that amount because their family or friend did not make the cut off and wants to study law by all means due to this everyone would not go to law school at the paericular year that they are suppose to. So my brother like my school your school is facing the same problem because if they knew that the cut off is 50 then why are they admitting more than 50 students? I guess you know the ansher to that.

lolzzzzzzzzzzz cant stop laughing. What i can say is that Nigerians that use nairaland are of two types, one one hand you have the very religious or ethical nigerians and on ther hand you have jokers who would joke with any situation no matter how serious. So their responce would be decided by their values.

i think thats true for pc user but in the case of mobile fones i think google would split with facebook which also opens very fast on mobile fones.

I am a law student in a Nigerian university and i have noticed that a lot of science student always have free ebook material for their courses but its not the same in art. We rely mostly on textbooks. Just want to know if there is any site that have free ebooks for law and other art and social science related courses like philosophy, psychology, political science etc. Pls comment..

Usually when you meet someone on campus(whether male or female) you introduce yourself and that introduction includes both parties mentioning the respective course they are presently studing. Sometimes when people mention their courses to me i say to myself 'why would you be studing a course like'. For instance there is someone i know that is studing local government studies and i know even if addmission is for free i would not study a course like that because i fell its a very uninteresting field. On the other hand people that study these courses actually do like them so i guess one mans fufu is another mans bread.

i was having a conversation with someone recently and she fells that life is easy fo guys and that there is no rush to do things at a particular age. Things like giving birth and getting married. She finally said if she could choose then she would like to come back into the world as a guy knowing all the resposibilities that it entails. I would like to know if you would like to change your sex and why(both sex included).

There is this girl in my class that i had a huge crush on since we were in predegree and i tried to get into a relationship with her but she kept turning me down, eventually i found out that she is a serious relationship and that she is madly in love with the dude. i was watching a tv series recently called "suits" and the main star lied about going to law school and this put a disturbing thought to my head. The question is - is there any governmental institution free from corruption because i cant imagine someone getting into law school illegally.

There are times when the law or common human ethics are in line with what the Bible or Quran says. For example the bibke say "thou shall not kill" and the constitution of the country says the same, but there are times when the the law says something is wrong but nut necessary wrong according to the bible. So where do we draw the line.

I have a lot of friends who woud date girls for dating sake or because they just like the company of the girl. I would usually ask them if there was a possibility that they could marry their girlfriend in future but they would not give staight anshers. What do you think guys.

The story of Nigerian music group have always ended the same way. I read somewhere recently that the house of representatives have passed a bill into law that gives any judge the power to sentence someone convicted of rape to up to life in prison(the bill was sponsored by Mrs Abike dabiri), and for the first time in a long while i was actually happy that a law was being passed by the Nigerian legislature.
The reason i was so happy about this legislative enactment is not so farfetched because it is not everyday that you would read in the news that the Nigerian legislature passed a law that would actually have a positive effect on the citizens, instead you would read that a passed a law that bans gay marriage or that they are considering the ban of alcohol though these issues are also problems that Nigerians face but they are minute compared to the more devastation legislation problems that Nigeria faces.
The problem of corruption is one that has been fabricated into Nigeria's DNA . It is the no 1 enemy that Nigeria faces in its quest to attaining political stability and and economic growth and development. The fight against corruption is something i believe should start from the Nigerian legislature because if you create a stiff purnishment for corruption and take a high stand on the subject then politicians would think twice before they steal public funds but instead we have a penal code that gives the maximun of a two year jail time for someone convicted of corruption and also can be with the option of a fine depending on the judge's discretion for me this like telling the theif to steal more.
Instead of confronting issues like this, Nigerian legislators would deal with issues that would not backfire to them. I just hope and pray that more laws that helps Nigeria attain its true independence would be passed in the future.
