GeneralPula:what pain exactly? That AJ lost a fight? and when AJ wins the rematch nko? until you guys look beyond the hatred you got for the igbos, you will remain where you are..stop hating and live your life to achieve please. lets not divert this thread to una usual tribal e war and focus on discussion on how best AJ can ask for rematch to reclaim what is his...dont push the thread to what it is not meant for. if you want a tribal e-war,create a new thread with Igbos vs Yoruba and the arena will be open for you to vent you frustration there. |
Ugosample:don't mind the foolish tribalistic idiot who will die of frustration about the igbos..wetin concern igbos with this fight? |
Ugosample:don't mind the foolish tribalistic idiot who will die of frustration about the igbos..wetin concern igbos with this fight? |
mainman7:For Real? hmmm some will die of bitter bile, what has igbo's got to do with a global fight,do you know who Anthony Joshua is? when did you start knowing him? AJ is an athlete like every other human.I see you are born with hatred in you and should go take care of that first. With the way you are going you will die someday with this hatred rooted in you. AJ lost a fight like any other and he will come back stronger. Some days you win some days you lose and that's normal. But please take your hatred of a particular tribe to your face me i face you block and leave people who don't care about your bitterness alone. |
oluayebenz:if it is CVAC Abuja, you need to book an appointment and they send you appointment confirmation with the time you picked but for CVAC Lagos you dont need an appointment |
sharpman1:Thank you for respoding and teaching him...some commentors here don't even have passport and never traveled before to know what stamps in passports means but they will sit in Nigeria and tell you all about America. |
justwise:Bless you Justwise...Wisdom is not bought |
oriazowan:Well your choice, |
oriazowan:if you need a good advice, please apply for your mother alone for now.You are on student permit as an international student, you are allowed only to work 20hrs a week, question a visa officer will ask is can you take care of two women at a time and be responsible for thier upkeep in Canada while with you, what if one falls sick can you cope with the medical bills here. Allow one to come and go first before applying to get another one in |
Please ooo I submitted online since April 1st, biometric done on April 5, after i receive email from Vfs that same day of biometric " that my application has been processed in our office, and the tracking number they gave me , am still unable to track in on Vsf site ( saying no record found) and no update from them since then... Please am confuse at this level The agent i used has my CIC ... Anytime i ask about update/ status from him, he will just be shouting that they have not reply me..... Please i need opinion from you all [/quote in the first place you need not have used any silly agent, visa application and any type of application whatsoever are things you can do on your own as often you are better in knowledge that the so called agents ,the difference is that we are lazy to read guidelines and application procedures from visa application sites . We should start developing this attitude of DIY...here in western world everything is DIY both female and male...you have unending resources on youtube to answer any type of questions you need. So dont worry that tracking thing is a problem i dont know how CVAC wants to resolve cos they give you tracking number that is never useful. But at the end updates in your email ate the major one you should look out for. Next time dont use agent,do all yourself.its easy. |
dozieihems:Please visit www.cic.gc.ca and click on visit option. Follow all the guides as per the visa that applies to you.Its not rocket science |
Dude04:i do understand your frustration bro but and i know its quote painful. However, when it comes to Canada i don't think(my opinion though not a fact) its because of the Nigerian passport you hold though it may seem so. Canada is known for taking time in everything they, they are never in a hurry trust me. The long time processing cuts across the globe for other nationals and if you check other visa grades like permanent residence visa, student visa, work permit visa it is same thing to everyone. The exception in this are the senior citizens, they tend to grant senior citizens visiting Canada faster than younger ones and mind you some citizens do not even provide the documents you provided but are done so on their behalf by their children living in Canada. |
Sweetheart264:Correct.Please you can go for your biometric capture unless you want to withdraw the application entirely which is not necessary.Yes you are right CIC wont respond to because you are within the processing window but be rest assured the form you sent via webform will be used instead of the one you submitted on initial day of application. They know some mistakes may happen during application and created that webform to effect it before they asked. Sending a corrected application form before they asked goes a long way to prove to them it was an honest mistake because you spotted it after submission and quickly acted to correct it. |

you can raise a webform and attach the correct part of the application form and CIC will update.Google webform on CIC website and write what you just said as explaination and then attach the application form again with the correct YES as answer otherwise CIC will see it as intentional misrepresentation. Answering Yes to if you have been denied visa before does not affect the outcome of your visa approval and unfortunately thats what those ignorant agents or forum members make some believe. |
makanaky2017:Visa fee is Cad$185 which is N53k approx and you flight ticket if you chose the low cost ones is less than N600k..so do you have your answer now? |
Made4naijalove:Sad but is there justice in Nigeria? How many police men and SARS has been sentenced to death for shooting and killing innocent Nigerians? |
Sweetheart264:you didn't state what the error was for people here to know if its a minimal error that is not significant a problem to the application or an error that has weight and needs correction. Answer=stating a problem + solution but what you gave is Solution= Answer - problem |
surryade:And who told you illegal immigrants in US are free?probably you need to watch the video of Nigerians who have overstayed their visit visa in the US trekking across the border to enter Canada to claim asylum. You are not free in any country overstaying with your visit visa. If you want to trek to the US from Canada, apply for US visa in Nigeria and then when you land start your bus journey to the US and i hope you will be ready to tell people that will come to welcome you back at MMA why you were deported. Instead of you asking what best legal means to secure a permanent residence status you are talking about breaking immigration laws. Good Luck on that |
NIFES:you don't need any Canadian visit visa for your child that is a US citizen, You only need to apply for yourself as your child has free access to enter and leave Canada as she or he wishes. That is the power of blue passport against the green passport. Canadians don't need visa as well to enter the US ..both US and Canada have access to more than 172 countries visa free. |
Mizwisdom:If you really want to hear the true picture of using visit visa to work, then listen.Visit Visa is what it is and nothing more and in Canada just like you just assumed without verification it is not possible to work with visit visa if its Canada.People who you think you know and have told you they stayed back to work with visit visa are very economical with the true picture of the reality, typical of so many Nigerians abroad who wont tell you exactly how the it is until you make that regrettable move and come, then you start hearing different stories. In Canada employers wont even listen to you once they ask your status in Canada and you say Visitor,in the US you can pick under the table jobs with your visit visa which is illegal as well but because of the population of America its hard to monitor . Students in Canada who are even legal are not allowed to work beyond 20hrs a week and i am sure you read what happened to the two female Nigerian students in Vancouver that worked beyond 20hrs and were deported from Canada. The only way you can work with your visit visa in Canada is claiming asylum which i can also tell you is not an easy road for Nigerians as 99% ends up having their asylum claim rejected and sent back to Nigeria. America is even better to enter and survive without legal status than Canada. A visitor on tourism can rent Airbnb because that is what Airbnb is meant for when you dont want to spend so much in hotels. But to say you can rent a house from a landlord as a visitor is not possible and very incorrect. No landlord in Canada will even pick up your call when he learns you are a visitor ...who even rents to a visitor for three weeks or a month to now end up looking for another tenant while the house is vacant and he pays mortgage from his pocket...so its very wrong to say that. Lets learn not to say things we dont know about based on hearsay and this "people have done this and done that" when you have not experienced it yourself.Often Nigerians abroad dont tell you the real picture not until you come and then you are locked in confusion and frustration. Nothing is as sweet as being a legal immigrant but dont use your visit visa and stay back in any country, you will hear nweeeee. |
Daewang:sorry,i got a notification of your mail but could not access your message. Drop me direct message here iphyonyeabor@yahoo.com |
Daewang:No worries bro. hit me up with your email addy...send an email from here including your email and i will get back to you. if we can get as many Nigerians here that really want to make use of their life potentials why not..Indians are trooping in here in their numbers and they already have an indian taking a shot at the prime minister position..why not we? but i must warn...there is no short cut to success here where people cut corners to make money, you have to really be outstanding among the standing here and be ready to work hard to achieve it unlike the perception every one in Nigeria has that once you land here all your families problem are solved...no time here to go watch basket mouth fa |
shellworker:oga iphone is not the brand of celebrities...its in Nigeria its the brand of celebrities..high school kids here buy any latest iPhone released same day not with money from boyfriends or parents but from their summer jobs earning. so if high school kids can afford any latest brand of iphone then it means its based on likeness and not about celebrity...na for Nigeria everything is tagged celebrity so long as it has a high price tag.If shoprite begins to sell loaf of bread for 7k now una go tag am celebrity brand |
KingOfallOsu:Can you guys just stop this tribal e-war here and focus on what positive inference to draw from this achievement. Americans and Canadians see themselves first and last as Americans and Canadians and not which tribe you from. We as Nigerians should commend great achievement by Nigerians not which tribe and condemn negative vices by Nigerians not as a tribe...Great nations are built not on tribal bickering. we can do better than using our keyboards to initiate name checking and tribal e-warfare. |
Thegamingorca:Bro we are in this together,no man is an island of knowledge.information is key to achieving things in life and achievement mostly may not be financial even though back home that's what we see as achievement. I want to also correct an impression,no country is flowing with milk and honey, you have to work hard to succeed but the difference is the environment you are in..does it encourage you to bring out the best in you? do you have chance of succeeding in what you legally indulge in? does it give you hope of making a mark in the society as well as make you known without having to rely on a corrupt system? are you protected by security to do what you know how best to do? ..these are the reasons we say some countries flow with milk and honey unlike Nigeria where we don't have such encouraging and conducive environment to make you who you want to be. if you have time bro..go to youtube and search for "junior ATB financials" and then your eyes will open as to where Canada is heading to with kids of elementary school doing same banking job we do in Nigeria...you will be amazed then you ask if our kids back home have same opportunity of early quality learning process in a skill set in case of the future. |
davidnazee:forgive him for being happily over zealous with the information he was trying to pass across based on logistics...Could have been first Nigerian though. But the message and lesson is what matters that as Nigerians we are born to succeed anywhere the environment is conducive and not hostile like back home. |
Tantolu:God Bless you for this contribution...we are Calgarians and we will keep doing Nigerians proud in Canada without Godfatherism and without looting govt fund. |
dokie:You will be making the best decision in your life if you do find your way here trust me,and don't listen to those negative minded people who will tell you its hard over there and people start afresh..those saying that never get immigrant visa.once they have it they will be the first to leave you behind and leave. I arrived here 2015 and will tell you that what Nigeria did not offer me in my 32yrs of being a Nigerian, born Nigerian Canada has offered me more in less than 5yrs when Kaycee signified interest to run for MLA in his constituency,he came down from Edmonton to Calgary to seek the help of Nigerians to raise funds for his campaign and Nigerians in alberta did not disappoint not just the igbo community and his campaign manager is a Nigerian,an igno man. Kaycee equally told the new premier now that he will deliver Nigerian community votes to the UCP which he did. so bro stop considering about relocating put it into action...there is nothing fulfilling more than giving your self options of where to chose to live as a human being having access to the most commonest basic needs that anybody can afford not like Nigeria where with your money you are still a second class citizen in your own country. chat me personally and be sure to have doses of whatever you wish to know. i still repeat, get out of Nigeria if you want to explore your full potential as a human being and rediscover your intelligence. Nigeria is a youthful age waster...ask Regina Daniels. |
Thegamingorca:[b]Oga,Canada and other western world are not like Nigeria where you don't have right to contest for any post except in your own state. Kaycee was born and brought up in the Village of Mbaise,Only University admission took him away from his village to Unilag where he graduated in Law and went to law school in Lagos. He migrated to Canada in 2005 and settled in Edmonton Alberta. So saying he does not know route to Nigeria is ignorance cos he even knows your village more than you who has stayed put in Lagos without knowing where your village is. He need not have billions of dollars to contest for election here,he is not a second class citizen as you guys back home always say,he is respected in Canada and he even had to beat the incumbent NDP MLA candidate in his constituency mainly white dominated community and yet oyibo no send and voted him against the white man... let me end this with Nelson Mandela's quote on how a progressive nation is built which is what we lack in Nigeria..."The Mentality of retaliation destroys states but the mentality of tolerance builds a nation"..that is what Canada follows, they accomdate and tolerate every one regardless of where you originally come from and that's why you see the progress here while in Nigeria we are backward because of non tolerance, hatred and all not what..look at us where we are. |
fabyom:if Canadian leaders have been greedy and useless and idiots like your Naija politicians do you think youths will want to leave Nigeria? Do you think you remaining back home in Nigeria will develop Nigeria? what has been your own contribution to develop the Nigeria you wan to stay put at. If you must know, Nigeria is a youthful age waster, remain in Nigeria at your own risk. Here in Canada and western world 25yrs are already professors...and at 25yrs in Nigeria some youths are still writing JAMB without hope of when they will gain the admission. Where to work after graduation is not yet in the equation...Nigeria will be develop and all the leaders have all their kids abroad. Stay there and be deceiving yourself talking about if Canada didn't develop their country where will Nigeria's run to... come to think of it even in Nigeria why are you not in your village. Why did you run to Lagos or Abuja or port Harcourt..why didn't you remain in your village to develop it like Lagos or Abuja? Buhari still flies to abroad for medical treatment why didn't he develop or build hospitals in Nigeria that meets world standard. if you don't know let me educate you...Nigeria is richer than most developed countries and yet Nigeria is the capital of world poverty. Why do you think Nigerians excel the moment they leave Nigeria in innovation, technology and academia?.. stay back in Nigeria and rot with any potentials you may have and that's if SARS no remember you. is there anything to even be happy about Nigeria? any one still staying back in Nigeria never get opportunity to leave. who told you about being second class citizen? have you lived in Canada? what do you know about second class citizen? let me paint a picture for you to know that even in Nigeria you are not a second class citizen, you are third class citizen in your own country. do you have any right at all as a Nigerian in NIGERIA? can you get justice when you have a fight with a rich politician? can you ask for anything without bribing your way tru it? do you have access to free medicals and right to education ? why do you have to beg for visa in Nigeria to travel to common south Africa, tanzania as a Nigerian? what kind of citizen are you with your Nigerian passport that with it in your hands embassies give don't flag you? Gambia citizens have 10yrs US visas without begging for it,as a Nigeria you beg for 1yr sef and you wont be issued. Now Nigerians with American or Canadian passports are treated first as humans anywhere they go better than you same Nigerians with Nigerian passport...what are you? second class citizen or third class? judge yourself...Nigerians with American or Canadian passports travel to more than 172 countries without visa...can you say of same thing with your Nigerian passport..Nigerians in America or Canada that are skilled like you in Nigeria get jobs without being asked which state and tribe they are from..but you have to include your local govt, village name, village chief and hope to have a politician refer you to even get a call up for interview in Nigeria...is that second class citizen or first class...you guys stay back in Nigeria and talk what you don't know. |
ahiboilandgas:You are very correct and up to date with the right information. I read when the Op said that after the interviewer asked him some questions visa was stamped on his passport. That was ridiculous. First which country at their embassy even stamps visa on your passport in your presence on day of interview while you are there looking at him...very funny ..is visa now an office stamp or traders invoice stamp of PAID? I don't think the op is here to really educate people on the right thing to do.. Canada does not conduct face to face interviews please Canadian embassy visa issuance starting from Visit visa to permanent residence visa to student visa all are paper based or online application which only your biometrics is done in any vfs you chose in your country of residence, passport request for visa issuance could come from any of Canada's visa office scattered globally and you send your passport by courier or through vfs for visa issuance and you get notification that your visa is ready for pick up either via courier services or via vfs which every one you chose... Note: Canadian visas are not issued right on the spot of visa interview and there is nothing like visa interview with Canada, no face to face interview ,you can only be invited for face to face interview in their Accra office for those applying for permanent residence via express entry if they found something fishy with your application where you have either told lies or misrepresented some facts and they want to clarify. |
salford1:Very apt and on point @Salford1...all what you said are nothing but the facts..i mean everything.International students from Nigeria without even the PR and still on work permit after school don't look for jobs...they are the first to be absorbed even before the back home experienced loaded Nigerian PR holders...so true. |
well done.
