Politics / Looking To Link With Obidient Like-minded People by Gentlerespect76: 11:25am On Jun 10, 2022
Hello everyone. Yesterday I succeeded in transferring my voting unit to one just across my house, here in Yola. I am all out to support Mr. Peter Obi. To escalate this decision, I am looking to join hands with like minded people in Adamawa to canvass support for him. I am also praying that Kwankwaso, for the sake of his love for Nigeria, would agree to be Obi's running mate.

Please link me with any Peter Obi support group in the North if you can. We moveeeee!!!

The choice we shall make come 2023 will show if we prefer to remain in darkness or not; if we love that over 100 million Nigerians are poor or not and if we wish to create a country we can be proud of or not. My advice is this: irrespective of religion or ethnicity, let's make the best choice for our country. Let's join hands and build a new nation by voting Peter Obi. Where I stand come 2023 is clear: I am "Obidient".

Politics / Re: Asiwaju Sold Us To The Fulanis. by Gentlerespect76: 6:13pm On Jun 09, 2022
cocolacec:
ASIWAJU Tinubu SOLD Yoruba Race by forming alliance with North yet:

1- He secured the number two position of Nigeria for us.

2- He secured MKO posthumous GCFR

3- He secured official Federal recognition of MKO Abiola's Presidential position as the WINNER of June 12.

4- He secured June 12 to now be called "Democracy day" in favor of a Yoruba citizen whose life was cut short.

5- He secured number 4 position for us in the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly.

6- He secured full construction and award of Lagos-Ibadan express way.

7- He secured RAIL infrastructure to South West and make Pa Obafemi Awolowo's name appear in one of the station's naming.

8- He secured ministerial positions for Yoruba citizens in the National government of Nigeria.

9- He secured the renaming of Abuja Stadium ️ to MKO Abiola's stadium.

10- He secured Ganifawehinmi posthumous national recognition.

The above among others are the reasons why Asiwaju Tinubu sold Yoruba to the North.

Now, ask the primitive folks in Yorubaland what definition of SUCCESSFUL alliance is?

I, as the president of Yoruba Liberation Movement stand firm as a reasonable individual among other Yoruba citizens that, Tinubu should SELL us again by forming alliance with the North as the PRESIDENT of Nigeria and give us:

1- TEMPLATE for a Workable Country
2- Devolution of Power for effective administration of every units of government in Nigeria
3- Creation of State Police
4- Revival of Outstanding Independent Power Supply for 24/7 electricity.
6- Decentralization of Academic council of Nigeria for effective School system.
7- Creation of Solid Security Template
8- Creation of Tempo for Robust Economy among others.

The above 8 points Among others are the reasons why I support the Northern alliance once again and Asiwaju Tinubu is our choice of PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE.

To every delegates and Yoruba delegates in particular at Eagle Square today. I urge you to see beyond the shadow of tradermoney, Quick Cash, Souvenir etc and Vote Asiwaju Tinubu as the Presidential Candidate of Nigeria for the upcoming election.

Thanking you in advance!

Politics / Re: Why Peter Obi May Become Nigeria's Next President by Gentlerespect76: 1:53pm On Jun 09, 2022
FreedomfromtheT:
Among the four major contenders for president in 2023, Peter Obi stands out:
1. He is relatively young compared to other candidates.
2. He is well educated.
3. As governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi was said to have handed over a robust economy for his succesor.
4. Peter Obi is the only Christian among the major contenders meaning that most Muslims' votes will be shared while most Christians will likely vote for him.
5. He has a national appeal mostly among the youths.
6. He is seen as a humble man of integrity.
7. Most Nigerians believe that for justice' sake and to give the Igbos a sense of belonging in the project Nigeria, it is the turn of an Igbo from the Southeast to become Nigeria's president since the Southwest and Southsouth have had their own turns. So he will likely get sympathy votes from those who share this sentiment.
8. Peter Obi is a good economist reputed to be a good manager of scarce resources, who can bail the country out of its current economic woes.
May God's will be done and may Nigeria be saved from the current poverty in the midst of plenty, hardships, insecurities, disunity, corruption and other malaise troubling this great country in Jesus' name, Amen.

Education / Re: Book Review: A Letter From Your Teacher: On The Last Day Of School By Shannon Ol by Gentlerespect76: 6:22am On Jun 07, 2022
MrQuadri:
The book “A letter from your teacher: On the last day of school” provides insight into teachers’ observations about students finally leaving school, their positive and negative behaviors, and other changes.

Shannon Olsen and Sandie Sonke talk about how teachers feel when student(s) graduate, their good wishes, opinion on other learners, colleagues, and the entire school society as a family.

It is a farewell message to every student. Also, it provides a bit about life expectations, tips to attain success, remembering school memories, challenges, and various approaches to tackle challenges.

In other words, it is like hand-written letters to students on farewell notes, good wishes, ideas, and others. You should consider buying this book from a bookstore or e-commerce site soon.

The Author
Shannon Olsen
During a recent interview, Shannon expressed that being a mother, author, wife, and entrepreneur is the best role. Her first book also doubles as the most selling, “Our Class is a Family,” ranks among the Top 20 books on the Amazon chart.

The book list in the Publisher’s Weekly for Top Children’s Picture Books. Amazon listing Shannon’s title on a billboard in New York City increased the demand for her books as more readers began ordering in bulk sets with considerable discounts.

Shannon earned her Bachelor(B.A English) and Master(Teaching) from California University, Irvine, and taught for a decade and a half. She is a perfect example of the term “teacherprenuer”.
Most elementary class instructors get some of her materials on her website or bookstore. With the effective use of the internet, she created a prominent brand as people ordered her resources through the Teachers Pay Teachers website or other platforms.

Sandie serves as an illustrator and holds other important roles in the successful publication of “A Letter From Your Teacher.” Other educational materials she has worked on include; Our Class is a Family, What Makes A Family?, Nuestra Clase es Una Familia, The Mighty Silent e! and others.

Most of her books are for learners below the age of 15 years. Also, some of her partnered authors include; Kimberlee Gard, Ashley Wheelock, Shannon Olsen, Hannah Bruner, Heather Leah, Annemarie Riley Guertin, Melissa Stoller, and Gillian King-Cargile, among others.
Sandie Sonke is also an excellent mother and a great entrepreneur who believes in educating young ones to attain their full potential. With more than a decade of elementary teaching experience, she ranks among the top prominent women in her profession.

Pros
* The writer portrays the teacher’s role in building a school community.
* It’s a perfect memory of the school year ending.
* The book helps build healthy teacher-student relationships.
* It makes students feel important and their role in building society.
* The material is available in numerous e-commerce stores.
* It’s a perfect gift for learners about to begin a new life phase.
* It is available in both soft and hard copies.

Cons
* Some readers consider the book price expensive.
* Some express the book is more of letter writing instead of including more reports about student experiences.

Content
It is a meaningful piece for every learner about to leave school. The author pictures school as a community of individuals with similar objectives, and a person decides to move to another location. In other words, the book is a read-aloud farewell note from a teacher to students.

Most of the points from the material are from a teacher’s viewpoint, memories, challenges, connections, and success tips. The class instructor explains how missing students will be a burden. However, they should make themselves proud and come out as the best in whatever challenges they face in the future.

Teachers’ support and affection for students can serve as motivation in different instances. At the bookend, there is enough space for the respective teacher’s name, so the student knows where the letter comes from.

Most individuals have a general misconception that the book is for elementary students. Well, underage learners can read the book, but there is no age restriction to learning from this piece.

Students excel from one class to another and face different life challenges. The material teacher’s letter on the last day can guide you to start on track whenever you need motivation.

Conclusion
So far, most readers have given positive reviews about this book. After reading “A Letter From Your Teacher,” there is more to learn. Also, the words are understandable for every learner.

Kindly drop your inquiries/ recommendations about this book below;

Politics / Re: 22 Aspirants (99%) Agree To Consensus "Step Down" For Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Gentlerespect76: 11:48am On Jun 04, 2022
Vixlot:

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress’ screening committee, John Odigie-Oyegun, says except for one unnamed aspirant, 22 presidential hopefuls pledged to support the party if it embraces consensus ahead of the primary.

Odigie-Oyegun made the revelation during the submission of his report to the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, on Friday.

He had told the party to further trim down the list of 13 successful presidential aspirants drastically.

According to him, the screening committee engaged every aspirant on the issue of consensus.

“It is a pleasant surprise that 98 to 99 per cent agreed that the party is supreme and that whatever the party finally decides through proper consultations, they will likely to accept.

“We have only one exemption, who said that he will accept consensus so long as it is bid on me. I think it is a point that needs to be made and emphasised.

“That gives you leeway in the hours ahead to trim down even more drastically. Finally, we should not be afraid to contest the primary if anybody insists on the contest,” he said.
