the sender actually said there was no form of telex or receipt given after the transfer was made,,, and the only way to find out if it went through was by account statement which he will go and check on Monday, if the transfer was successful, it will show that the funds has been deducted from his account over there and sent here to Nigeria... it has been. more than 4 working days and nothing is in my account yet so probably the transfer failed. You receive wire transfer from Germany in two working days?? how do you do it?? My plan right now is to tell the sender to try and send the money again on Monday via Bank Tellex transfer because it is faster than the regular wire transfer. (note i'm to receive this money in my naira savings account not a Domiciliary account) my bank said it is possible but they will convert the Euro when the money comes and credit my account with the naira equivalent. I don't know if this also the reason the transfer is taking longer or failed. Do you receive the transfers with a domiciliary account or naira account?

You don't seem to understand my advice. Telex Is the ONLY evidence of Wire transfer. If sender cannot provide you with Telex evidence of the wire transfer, then no transfer was made to you. For some banks like GTB, your account will not be credited if you do not provide Telex copy of the wire transfer.

ok could you please shed more light on this? is the telex you are talking about here a form of receipt to prove the transaction has been made? meanwhile according to my bank (fidelity) they said the funds will be credited into my account once the transfer is successful.

thanks bro but it was not sent through bank telex transfer,, I would have done that if the sender forwarded the funds through telex.. it was done through the normal wire transfer but the mistake I made here was not telling the sender to pass it through bank telex transfer. Telex is very fast!!!! but ordinary wire always takes so long..

Going straight to the point.

I have been expecting a wire transfer from Germany for over a week now and up until now nothing has been credited into my bank account. The transfer was made on Monday and the sender said it takes 3_4 days to get to Nigeria. I went to the bank and I was told there is no problem with my account. But the money is not here yet. Does anyone have any idea on how to get this done? Apart from Moneygram or Western Union? The reason is because Moneygram and Western Union usually has a limit to the amount of Money sent to african countries especially Nigeria but the amount i'm expecting is quite above the limit so the best option is bank transfer but it is taking forever to get here and i'm freaking out already. Please help!!!!!!

First of all, I tried to recharge my airtime with 700 through my phone online banking, I made a mistake and then mistakenly entered 7,000. They debited the money from my account and credited me with 7,000 Airtime. I called Airtel to cancel the transaction and they said there is nothing they can do about it, I contacted my bank and they also said there is nothing they can do.

Right now the only choice I have is to try and sell off the credits by transferring it through the me2u service to any airtel user that is willing to buy. I initially forgot my transfer pin and entered a wrong one when I tried to make a transfer and it didn't go through. I have tried calling the customer care but they have been busy since the last 24 hours and always drop my call. I now saw where I wrote the transfer pin in my old diary but when ever I try to transfer credit to someone. I get a message saying ""Your account has been barred from using this Service""

Has anyone experienced this before?? How did you solve the problem?

I wouldn't advice you to buy iPhone 8 plus. Its a mistake of a phone hence the reason it's not selling. Don't get me wrong, it's a good phone and works well but 4.7 inch, 720p, LCD et Al aren't 2017 specs to starts with so it's not acceptable.


Secondly, it's the same design language with iPhone 6 plus with just dual camera and glass back. You fan hardly notice any difference between it and iPhone 7 plus. Apple just gave it the name 8 so gullibles will buy it. It should have been called 7s plus.


iPhone 7s plus still works well and it's quite cheaper now so you can buy that but if you feel you want a 2017 phone then buy S8, Note8 or iPhone X.

The problem has nothing to do with specs. All are great, making up the best phones in today's market.

The problem is the OS. What kind of activities do you perform most on a phone? What do you desire? Pattern of usage, etc. Ios vs android is the difficult choice here


You could opt for a note 8 since money ain't the problem. You may have to sacrifice a better battery life and extra 80k (which to me ain't worth it) but you get a bump in RAM, better camera, S-pen and a better fingerprint placement. Other options seemingly better than the s8 plus are the v30 and pixel 2 xl.

You can leave iPhone 8 plus and wait for IPhone X release.

It's up to you...

you are right. Even with the nice Airtel and glo BlackBerry subscription of 1k for 3gb I will never buy a Modem. I use my old BlackBerry classic as the source of internet connection to my PC via wifi and it is superfast.
