I started by dressing up, and going to private and government offices telling the staffs about what I do. I was also willing to teach those who wish to learn for a token, from there I start getting recommendations...I also sometimes print a black and white tracks and share them on the street.

Depends, when is offline I make the design, enquired for the printing cost depending on kinda paper quality my clients wants, collect the printing bill from them and print. when everything is done I collect my money.

while online, I only design and deliver the print ready version to them.

Though I have started freelancing on contest freelance site, it is not easy. I want to start designing for people in Nigeria and I have gotten basic info from you. I have to brush up on my design skill and create social media handles.

Greetings to all graphics designers in the house. I intend creating this thread for we to share our challenges, the challenges we face in the job either with clients, our environment or even our graphical instrument.

I as a person [freelancer] I face some challenges with clients most times with billings, there are some I did job for they end up not paying or paying half. my biggest of all is trust, I trust my clients easily believing some of them are responsible... I usually send them samples of their job without water marking them. some bad eggs will just make use of it for the purpose they needed it for and stop responding to your messages.

The one I found disturbing... I realized some clients will contact you for a job, the same job they've contacted like 5 different designers for at same, after you've might shown them your previous work they'll give you go ahead and same thing to the other designers, at end you'll exhaust your energy and time doing the job... then they'll start giving you excuses and your time wasted.

please our clients if you're awarding a job, make sure you award it to one designer, if you're not satisfy with the person job let him know, if you don't want him to continue with your job let him know. Graphics consumes a lot of time and brain work...

Over the years, we have used level of education and age to analyse the quality of a president. All these are important, but they should not be the primary criteria to examine the attribute of a president. The basic quality of a Nigerian President should be "patriotism" (Does he love his country a lot? can he sacrifice for his country?).

The patriotic level of candidate is what we should consider when we want to elect a leader. Although it cannot be explicitly seen physically, but we can examine the contributions of that candidate to the development of his society and what the person has done to make his country better to determine the patriotic level of that person.

A patriotic leader will not loot public fund knowing that millions are hungry, a patriot will be uneasy when citizens are being killed, a patriot will take immediate actions if the citizens are threatened, a patriot runs for political post for the glory of his country and not for his own personal glory.

Now, examine all the 2019 presidential aspirant, who do you think is more patriotic?

I am a Christian, but I don't support some Bullshits that our pastors do. After invading all the billboards and plastered all the walls in our streets with flyers and banners, they have finally graduated to marketing or advertising their church online. It is very annoying. The government need to start regulating some activities our clergy carry out.

Is it even logical to advertise a church? must a pastor even hold programmes, except on Sundays. Is the oil on Sundays not enough? Virtually all billboards in my state are used to advertise churches, we need job adverts or adverts of Nigerian made goods!

I have not attended all the numerous churches in my street, it is now a church I saw online i will now attend!

Bill gates has made enough money, now he has stopped investing and has appointed experts to manage his respective companies while he(bill gates) is busy tackling world diseases. But Dangote has made a lot of billions, and in spite of the poverty in his country, he has not created a foundation to fight poverty and unemployment. Dangote is busy amassing all the wealth in the country at the expense of the poor masses.
