Better in what aspect? Going trophy less and keeping bridesmaid position every season?
No matter the progress without trophies is equal to zero, Saliba came out recently we are tired of ending the season with nothing
That should tell you no one rate them until they get something out of the season, that's why dullards like Carragher, Neville and Mikel be taking shots at us anyhow.
Arteta wants respect I have no issues with it he should earn it and shame someone like me especially me until then I see nothing special in what he's done.

Peace!!!
you talked about spending money and i talked about bringing in the money. In 2023 season no one even yourself saw us or believed we would be competing for the league, Arteta took everyone by surprise. With how bad Arsenal was when he took over and the fact that he was a rookie made everyone believe that his 5 year plan was enough to let me go on. But he did in 3 years what he expected to do after 5 years. Arteta is just a victim of his own progress and expectations. Yes trophies is important, but mention the coaches that have won trophies that you would comfortably replace him with. I just want to know, please mention like 2 names, I no need 1, 2 please.

you know, there's how people would talk about something so much you would want to experience it yourself. These are Italians that understand the importance of defence organisation and coordination. They just came to enjoy the game, and surely they did.

Which of the managers compared with him spent half of what he's spent at arsenal.
Just mention 1
of all the teams that has spent more money than Arsenal in the last 6 years, who's better than us this season mention 1.
It was obvious that the squad depth cost us the 2022/2023 epl. Injury to jesus, saliba and tomi affected us. Same with last season. Now we decide to spend after all, to strengthen the team and avoid that, you're also complaining.
Let me ask you, since we're talking numbers and money, which Arsenal manager has brought more money for the club like Arteta?? Mention just 1, like 1. So for someone who has been on a progressive run with the kind of money he brings to the club, he shouldn't be allowed to spend it in order to make the team better and bring in more money?.

Mention the names let's do the comparison.

So because you feel he spent money then he doesn't deserve praise? Are you that hardened?

Are you aware that Pep bought two marquee players this January?

Pep spent more than Arteta this season o

Germaphobe you see what I am saying? It's not about being heartbroken
just this season Liverpool spent more than us but look at where they are.
Chelsea has always been spending every single year, look at where they are.
City spent just 7 million less than us, look at them.
Someone spent money, same money that Liverpool, man city, man utd and Chelsea has also spent in the last 3 seasons but yet we're better than them. Even if Arteta wins the quadruple, he still won't regard him. It is that obvious. But ask him to mention a coach better than Arteta and watch him withdraw.

When it's all said and done, I will be expecting a shooting tribute from Nze Roland17, and Otumba Iamoyindamola
na heartbreak make dem no believe Arteta and you can't truly blame them.
But every manager that has ever been compared to Arteta, he has somehow out performed all of them. No single manager that was compared to him still stands shoulder to shoulder with him currently. Which makes me wonder, what if the management had let him go and choose one of them names, we for dey inside gutter by now.

There’s nothing big in the shoes of a player who is almost always not fit enough to see us challenge for a league . He’s always out in the most crucial stages of different seasons .

Zubi is doing more than filling Partey shoes by being available when we need him. When we eventually win the league , everyone will remember Zubi as one of the most important players along with Rice , Gabriel , Saliba and Raya who featured constantly all through the season to ensure we end our years of trophyless .

Talks like “Partey’s shoes are too big for Zubi to fit “ will have no meaning to anyone when they see him lifting the EPL trophy
you get it 💯. He's so available no matter the game. Partey sef dey ghost for some matches, makes mistakes too, even a lot of them.

It’s wierd how Kai grew on me.

He is not the most sleeky of a player, but I like the fact that he is very dangerous.

He seems like a lucky player.

Someone that can be at the right place, at the right time to kill you off.

That’s what I like about him.
Kai will give you everything you need in a striker position just that he isn't clinical enough. My problem with most people that criticised him a lot the previous seasons is that they're making excuses for Gyokeres. Gyokeres was supposed to be far better in goals than kai, and I don't take the "it's his first season" agenda. At least kai will create chances ans assist even if he doesn't score and he knows how to link up well with other players.

You get it. I think many are confusing his availability as reliability. Two different things entirely. The only excuse is it's his 1st season, but Partey arrived and began work straight up. Another difference between them. I cut him some slack but i no go dey here and see person dey do like Partey's last season naim dem go kon use summarize his overall contribution for Arteta since he arrived.

We need him even more organized than early on cos we've entered the serious phase now, especially this UCL.
Zubi proved he can be vital for us earlier, everyone who played with him then always complemented his play and it was beautiful seeing it too, but then along the road he lost his cool. He seems scared to make some risky forward passes but always make the risky back passes. He will come good again, I hope.

We shouldn't be too haste in praising him in as much as we are pleased with the position we currently occupy both in the domestic and European competitions but he needs to win us atleast a major trophy that is when we can now start pumping champagne 🍾.
nah!! Bro. I am a certified Arteta fan boy (allegedly). So what more can you expect, and i already said it that I have 100% believe that we are winning the league. No be now i believe, right before the season started. So allow me to appreciate the good things as it is happening just as some people discredit and abuse him as e dey hot.

Let me do this.

Some of us saw the boldened early on. Me in particular have a track record here for early detection despite backlash. Iamoyin also detected it. We know he's his own player but Partey shoes are giant shoes. Without that court case and regular injuries, Partey and Eze for cook wetin no good for rivals. For now, manager don finally accept say Zubi no be am. He didn't want to until now. He still has much to contribute this season sha💯
currently i think the only thing zubi has over partey is availability. He has gone so soft than earlier in the campaign. But we will be alright.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 8:41pm On Mar 18
First time we're in ucl quarter finals for 3 straight seasons since after 2007-2010.
First time in our history that we are in carabao cup final, fa cup quarter final, ucl quarter final and have an advantage in the league title race.
Arteta already broke the highest win rate in a single season in Arsenal's history in 2023/2024 but this year he has won more games at this stage in all competition.
Big shout out to the owners and board members for standing with him.
In as much as Arteta has endured many abuses and doubts from rivals and fans, he still is the best we could have ever asked for. For someone who took this job when other prolific coaches were rejecting us, gave us a taste of trophy chase when no one expected it in 2023, I will always have his back. It's left to see how the seaon ends, but no matter what happens, Arteta deserves his flowers from each and every fan who questioned him.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 8:13pm On Mar 18
Earlier in the season my most impressive summer signing was Zubimendi, man gave his all and played so fuccking good I never missed Partey. Now, he looks average but still gets it done.
Hincapie always showed he's a raw diamond and now he's up and steady at the back.
Madueke,I believed it was a good deal for someone who's coming in as a back up, and even though he's been off and on, I still appreciate his game.
Mosquera is a beauty to watch and still has a lot to go from.
Norgaard has impressed me with the few minutes he's got, I wonder why he still doesn't get enough pkay time.
Eze is finally getting it together. Last two games has shown a great change in his game ,I wish to see more from him cus I know it's there.
Gyokeres grin cheesy cool to be honest, I didn't expect so much from him, but the hype around us needing a traditional 9 made the hopes so high. Now he ain't even scoring the type of goals everyone expected of him, nor turning up in games like the media and fans made it look like he would. I still wish he scores important goals for us. Aside from the two goals he have on Everton, he hasn't scored a winner or a game changing goal(i might be wrong tho). I feel like his first season is just mirror symmetry to kai's first season. But then kai scored more game changing goals. cool
Ps: Kai is still my favourite most not loved Arsenal player. cool
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 10:19am On Mar 18
We've reached the maximum win rate under Arteta so far and still on every competition. That's a solid from the players and the coach.
One more carabao cup win to cancel our trophyless years, 5 more epl wins to cancel the bottling noise, 5 more wins to cancel the no ucl banter too.
I can't be more proud of this team. As a fan who has always believed in Arteta, I feel much joy and anticipating greater things to come.
S/o to Bertha for making this season a joy to watch, years of injuries affecting us badly are gone.
S/o to Arteta for finding a way to navigate through the injury gate, and to the players for standing out.
Let it all work out!!!.

once a gunner always a gunner. But Walcott no get levels for my eyes again. Yes, he was our own superstar at some point but scoring against us in a title race and celebrating it in front of our own fans, that's when I started seeing him less. So he didn't see how Welbeck played against us that season, even this season against too. Make he getout.

Arteta should trust MLS and Dowman this remaining games to the end of the season. Risk it. Nothing to protect them for again abeg. Trash that excuse. They will add more and will come in to a bigger output in this depth contribution.
it was so brave of Arteta to remove a defensive midfielder and introduce Showman. But I don't think he would be automatically starting Showman in the remaining epl games. For skelly, na God hand he dey so, cus even when he's given a chance he doesn't make it worth it anymore as last season.
