The said girl is just 24 years old but graduated as second best in the dept of economic then..his father even helped her secure a lecturing job 5months before his demise..he stated that his wife will only be an important signitory for transaction worth a million and above.

He added a clause that his son can join the management of the firms and estate only when he graduates from any University with at least a pass and record less than 7police cases before he turns 28..

Even at that he can eventually take over the firm after joining management for minimum 4years...

All those points are irrelevant .Government does not have infinite funds. They borrowed money to pay for this facility so



The money to pay back has to come EITHER from the fares or somewherelse

So you need to be clear where you stand

If 250 does not cover the loan repayments where do you propose government gets the money to pay the loans

Its a long term project,sensible government won’t act what you just stated, to Luxembourg , they operate on free transportation and if Lagos state that boast to be the 3rd largest economy in west Africa can’t reduce its train fare other than #250, maybe you are impressed but sorry i am not

If the service is to be operated as a going concern then expenses should not exceed revenues .There must be money for maintenance and replacement of coaches when they reach their life span

So the question of whether 250 is too much must be based on something and also an idea of what is the right price
All this must be based on some data/figures
This service is a government offering isn't it ? It cannot be free. I believe that there is some borrowed money involved. How will that be paid back?

The issue of Government is technical especially in this part of the world where government are shy of their responsibilities,you talk about loans and stuffs but you forget that other countries take loans too even America but the difference is that what they use their Monies for are visible even to the least man in the bush, so i ask you , what have you gained from the government since 1960 cos am sure they didn’t sponsor your education and am sure you can not even travel by land right now. so my point is that# 250 is still too much if they (government) really listen to the yernings of the people,do you know that some families can’t even boast of a #100 ?the train is a long term investment and not otherwise it will be a bad business if all they see as a government is to drain the people haba!! na..within lagos, inside lagos per head #250,if i carry luggage that means na better billing o

There is this particular guy that I met on Facebook about two month ago in Facebook, we have been talking and he calls me almost everytime, he has tried to invite me to his house in osun state on different occasions but due to security issue I had to decline his invitation..

We planned to meet on Wednesday and he told me he was coming from osun state, so I told him to drop at Mr Biggs in Iwo Road Ibadan..

I stay at challenge so I had to #200 cab from there down to Iwo road, I was having about #1300 with me before leaving the house, I was already waiting for him for about 40minute before he showed up, he told me his car has fault and that he had to call his mechanic to fix the car for him, we sat down and talked.

During our discussion, he told me to please give him 1k to get something to drink, that he had forgotten his wallet in the car and his phone is off to make a transfer, I gave him and he ordered for soft drinks and meat pie..

Along the line, he told me he needed to make a call and requested for my phone so that he can direct the mechanic bringing down his car, I heard him calling and was directing the man down to Iwo road, all of a sudden he just went outside and before I could know it this guy has dissapeared with my phone and was just looking at him from afar..

I couldn't shout as I was just looking like a fool because I don't know what's happening, I waited for about 1hr thinking he has gone to pick the mechanic, I tried calling my number but was switched off, he has gone with my phone and I don't know his number off hand.
I had use the #100 left with me to buy recharge card and was left with nothing..
It was a bitter experience for me as I had to trek all the way from Iwo road to Olorunsogo, When I couldn't continue with trekking I had to approach a lady to please help me out
with #100 after explaining my situation to her and she gave me #500 and wished me well.

I thank God it was not more than this, he only went away with my phone, what if he had used me for ritual?

Please ladies be careful about the kind of guy you hang out with, always take your time to know the person you are moving out with..

I had learnt my lesson, and have handed him over to God .
