ELIGIBILITY - failed, simply implies that your study Visa application has been denied by the responsible immigration officer. You've to wait until the final verdict has been uploaded on your MyCIC account. In the meantime, you may want to share your profile and the list of documents you submitted with your application.

if yes, we cant say much cos theres nothing to refer to. Some gcms notes dont have the vos statement, i dont know why. You can send a mail to inquire why.

Good day All, i just got my GCMS notes, their is no notes from the VO, i just saw eligibilty -failed, then new incoming correspondence mail i forwarded to them about my scholarship award letter, status is still showing -in progrss and no NOTES, can someone help me review this please.
I also saw incoming correspondense on one note - LOA, seriously dont understand these stuffs.

Can someone help me explain it, quite ambigous, dont know which to post.

I still don't understand why prospective applicants have this sense of entitlement on this thread. Exactly my point, no one is paying for anyone's time and advices given here. For the fact that this is a faceless platform, one should be very mindful of their choice of words especially when replying to others. There should be some level of respect and composure on this platform. Let us learn to hide our dirty linen in public discussions and always exhibit the act of tolerance at any slightest provocation. I believe we are all matured and If one is not satisfied with any advice given by a fellow group member, you're free make your personal research without using harsh comments to express our opinions.

I can barely count how many people that I have personally assisted from scratch in this Canadian Visa process which after a few months on arrival in Canada deleted my number LOL .. i.e after sharing their testimonies on this thread. They didn't even recall back then when there were at my beck and call and the tremendous impact I have instilled in them as at the time of their application. . Nigerians we strong o. . How do you think we can grow?. In spite of everything, the discreditable lack of gratitude by these set of people doesn't change my motives nor stop me from helping others reach their Canadian goals faster and easily as well as solving their problems faster and efficiently on this thread. That's why my signature on my profile reads "BE GOOD TO PEOPLE, FOR NO REASON"

Why am I saying all this? I'm urging everyone to try as much as possible to tolerate others and most times overlook certain things. We shouldn't make it look as if we are fighting for something special or in competition with others on this thread. I believe everyone on this thread is here for a purpose which is to acquire relevant informations that will be helpful in their applications. Please let's stick to that narrative as we progress in achieving success.

Good day all. Got masters of Business Administration offer at University Canada West, tuition fee of $35100 for 2 years. At the moment I can only afford half of this tuition but I plan to work along side my studies. My question now is this , I was told by the school that I can’t work more than 20 hours a week during the semester, is it possible to beat this ? Moreover when I take the semester off , do I pay tuition for the semester as well ?

If you're using a mutual funds investment to support your financial strength, endeavour to have sufficient amount in your BA to cover your LE expenses and maybe your first semester tuition fees. If not, liquidate part of the investment funds into your BA with cogent explanatory backing. The true authenticity of the mutual funds investment is gradually been pondered upon because there has been ongoing illicit conspiracy/arrangement between the investment organization and their clients (the applicants). This has continually raised suspiciousness.

So endeavour to show much part of your funds in liquidated form. This gives better display of your available funds. You may decide not to liquidate your investment funds if you can show sufficient liquid funds in your BA.

@GucciOluwa, Please see the comments below as per your enquiry.

1. You can submit the normal account which has adequate funds in it. There is no need submitting your salary account since there is little or no funds saved in there. Pay stubs plays a pivotal role for applicant's who are gainfully employed, it gives the visa officer an overview of your salary structure and tax deductions. So include it as well


2. Speaking from my vast experiences in handling study permit, PNP's and PR applications. I have colleagues that applied for permanent residency, and reading from the GCMS notes they shared with me, I find out that most often the visa officers are not satisfied with mutual funds statement for POF. The mutual funds statement were tagged as RR (Review Required) in their notes. This is simply because the Visa officer thought that the funds in the investment statement is encumbered by debt or other obligations and thus might not be readily accessible by the applicants.

So, I had to advise them (PR applicants) to liquidate the funds in their investment account and deposit it into their account, then raise a CSE to the processing visa centre. Having done what I told them their application moved from Review Required to ELIGIBILITY passed as evidenced in the subsequent GCMS notes they ordered. In view of this and from the wisdom of my experiences, I would suggest you liquidate this investment and provide a brief explanation as to the LIQUIDATION of the investment before the time of application.


3. I don't think it's very necessary to provide explanation to the 10M that will be coming in 3M trenches into your husband's account considering that there have been history of 3M in the account in the last 4-6 months. You only provide explanation if there haven't been any traces of such amount in his account statement.

4. This is a critical situation for you. How do you intend to cope without your husband when you've successfully put to bed in Canada. At this point, it's best you co-apply with your husband but your reasons for applying together shouldn't reflect or talk about your pregnancy. The visa officer might have a wrong impression that you're using study permit as a means to facilitate entry into Canada in order to give birth rather than educational advancement. Ideally, I would prefer you travel to Canada for the winter term. My reasons being that it will be very difficult and so demanding for you as a pregnant woman to adapt with the stringent educational system of Canada considering that you're heavily pregnant and due for delivery in October. More so, given that you're pregnant as at the time of application, you will not be able to undergo an X-ray test during your medical examination, as it can be very dangerous to the unborn baby.

5. You're a resident and a citizen of Nigeria. So, CUAC Ghana office is not applicable to you. I would suggest you use your home country as the country of citizenship and where you're applying from for your study permit.
