TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by GFavor: 4:47pm On Jan 25, 2018
House, please has anyone gone through the MPNP LAA route, I am filling my forms and have some questions:

1. My spouse office will not give him reference letter on company letter head I.e from his HR, what alternative can I use.

2. For the proof of funds the requirements says bank statements and certificates of deposits, do I need to ask for letter from the bank?

3. Applicants job was through a recruiting agency say A, and got employment letter from compay A, was seconded to company B, so he has work experience in company B, who should issue the reference letter as Employment letter is also a requirement.

4. At what point will I be asked to make the CAD 500 processing fee and how do I make it.

5. Applicant is claiming a strong tie from a COUSIN but there is no place holder to input proof (1st cousins from both mothers). What other proof can be used as both does not have mothers maiden names in their birth cerificates.

Please I know nobody is obliged to answer me but please, help a sister if you have taken this route.

Thanks

Hello Gurus in the house, for the POST ITA issues, i will suggest we have a page on this thread that has the steps for Post ITA just like Zandora did with page 0 for Pre ITA. This way anyone that has a question on Post ITA will be referred to this page, then come back and ask specific questions. This Post ITA page should contain what to look out for, putting your docs together, snapshots, pdf tips etc. It should also have the meanings of all those abbreviations COPR,AOR, etc.
I know it will be time consuming but pls gurus in the house lets put heads together so people don't keep clamouring for a seperate thread Post ITA.
@ Vcole, Dupsyshoo, Elfmann, Cala, Zandora etc over to u.

Sorry i will not be able to contribute as we are still in the pool. Hubby is the PA, we have been on this since 2015. All information we needed we got from this thread. I have never asked any question because i always visit the thread and pick solutions from responses. I started from page 0. Hubby is not so keen so i have to en courage him from what i read from here. His profile is better.

Sorry for my long epistle. God will help everyone on this canadian dream. Let us keep this thread alive.

Hello House,
I just checked their site for Education eligibility and saw that there are no Engineering field for approved degree. Does that mean if your first degree is Engineering you cannot apply this year?

Note: Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy

It was not until about 21st ago I went to BE to confirm my booking that I was told I didn't need a UK visa. I was pissed. These agents sometimes are not up to their game. The initial dallas flight was about 7k cheaper. From ur experience any advice on the poe?

nefertitiram:
Nooooo! Why is your POE Chicago?! Chicago is one of the most self centred POE in US! Was in Chicago for a while till 2 weeks ago, and and all the POE stories I heard while there were all negative! I don't even know what they are feeling like! Once they hear 'have a baby' they become hostile. My cousins have a few preggie friends that have been sent back at chicago POE, even with cash and all that!
@nefertitiram

See me o, my initial booking was dallas as poe but with sleep over at Heathrow. Wakanow called me and said I could not use that since I don't have a UK visa. So I had to change to sleepover at Chicago. I had read somewhere in this thread that Chicago is a stress free poe. I will just pray for favour. Nothing God cannot do.

House, pls anyone who has had a successful poe at chicago pls advice on what to watch out for at Chicago POE.

Hello House, plus has anyone gotten Nigeria passport for the baby from el paso. How did you go about it. I learnt it is cheaper and better to get the Nigerian passport from US than going for the Visa. Kindly advice experience mums and dads from el past.

Dear House, My ticket is from Abuja to Elpaso with one day stop over at Chicago. My question is, at POE in Chicago will I have to bring out my checked in luggage at Chicago or at Elpaso.

Hello House,
I am one of the people who have benefitted from this thread. I also used Pherma's burden of proof and letter from Doctoresparati. I was granted Visa in October. My letter had a doctor and an appointment date. I guess I applied before the VOs started getting suspicious.

Please house I have a question, Can I use the letter from doctoresparati for POE or they also frown at the letter at POE. My POE is Chicago and leaving First week in January.

Pherma, Congratulations on the arrival of your LO. God bless your family.

@Malory84,

Please what hospital are you using in el paso that has a cheaper vbac than doctoresparati. Please share the details.

I had a myeomectomy in August last year and would like to try a Vbac but doctoresparati seems to be expensive, so I was opting for CS with them. But if you are using a cheaper hospital for vbac, I could explore them.

Waiting for your reply abeg.

I am elpaso bound in 2nd week January, POE is Chicago. Anyone going to elpaso in January? I need company o.

Thanks a lot. don't mind them. I am not using doctoresparati o. wanted a vbac but theirs was high. So got a more reasonable Vbac fee.
