I am sorry to say boss but your people (moderators) are seriously making the Frontpage a joke...

Though they are trying their best but you should have noticed people aren't really impressed with it. The reason why i had to create this thread was:
I introduced Nairaland to my uncle few weeks ago though he has been visiting as a guest and seem to enjoy the topics discussed especially some that made it to FP.

But recently he started asking me what kind of "irrelevant" stuffs were being updated recently. I couldn't give a good response to that all i could do was smile...

Mr seun, i aren't "jealous" or anything but i noticed some mods have also taken over the celebrity section...their post(s) are always making fp..is this an example of how things are suppose to run around here??

I am sorry if i have stepped on toes i just feel i should let out my mind. We all love Nairaland..no where else can remind us of Home

Now as crazy as this may sound, i am inlove with my boss. Now that's not the crazy part....the crazy part is that she is the daughter to the C.E.O

Yeah, i know you might be thinking "he is trying to get promotion" or "he wanna use her" but that's not right...i'v gat some couple of questions

1.Do we love people by class? (Like why can't i just love anybody i want without looking at her background and wealthy father)

2.How do i make her realise i have a thing for her making a fool of myself?

3.Hope i aren't working into a hell hole? (You might feel i am but what if we are truly meant to be together?
What if she's felling same thing for me and i aren't making any move?)

We'v heard about the word "forgive and forget" which is commonly used when you get hurt by someone you love or when you are trying to plead your way through another person's heart.

But let's take a close look at those words "forgive" (pardon the accused for their wrong doings) "forget" (let the past go and start all over again).

I thought about these words but i don't really think its easy for humans to forget people that hurt them one time or the other. Though we might sometimes think about it, but not making those thoughts active means we are trying to forget and move on.

But people nowadays kind of keep records and use them against you later in future Especially Nigerians, mehn, we keep records of people who hurt us a lot even more than a computer
if you think i am lying, just wait till you hurt a girl that loves you, she will keep reminding you of what you did to her 3years ago(lol)

So what do you guys think Do people really forget the past and move on?

Most churches invites some comedians to "crack" Jokes during services making their service "more lively"

I was just pondering on it...is it a bad thing to date another youth from your church?

Looking at the some aspects of it, you get to see her during service and might not be free to do stuffs(i.e play, gist) with other girls(she might not be cool about it). And wouldn't that be a sin?
