Coolsperm:Can't you simply make a statement without using foul language? Anyway, the word is "cursed", not "coursed". Just because you pronounce it that way doesn't mean you should mislead us with wrong spellings. ![]() |
hassan4:It's funny how highly you esteem those players of yours. Upon all the hype, Osimhen has only scored 11 goals this season. I wonder if that's impressive to you. Your complaint about a goalkeeping error is baseless. I wonder if your team could have scored without a penalty. Black as charcoal? You might as well say "Black as Nigeria when NEPA" does the usual. And falling about big... You just showed the world how shallow minded you are. Probably hasn't set foot outside Nigeria. |
hassan4:We will make Africa proud, as usual. Use this time to prepare for the next AFCON. |
bigjoe1000:I'm surprised you didn't see that coming. No matter how high the Eagle, it can never go beyond the Stars |
ashawopikin:We pray for blessings and peace. |
derico:Overconfidence caused your team and the entire supporters to lack concentration. Your team wasn't organised. Had it not been for the penalty, your best chance would have been the offside goal. |
ashawopikin:I'm surprised you didn't see this coming. I wonder why some people even put their faith in the Please serve yourself some tea while you put your ego aside to congratulate the winning and well deserving team. |
derico:Please that decision was taken by your entire coaching staff. The players you are referring to are old and rusty. Did you recognise any player in our team, beside Jordan Ayew? If a player is old, he's old... There's no other word for that! ![]() |
Can you just put your ego aside and congratulate the winning team already? |
Nova1988:I'm here to feed you with accurate information; I wonder if your presence here is making any difference. Most of your players are old and weak; with every little shove from our players, they cower to the ground. And you could visibly see that your players were very tired because we kept them running. Your "super hero", Ohimhen, is only good in the air. He was nothing without the ball on his head. Your midfield is as weak as your entire team and coaching staff put together. I know the next excuse you would make -- Ndidi didn't play! Nigerians and excuses are like... |
derico:Please the great players you are referring to are old and rusty. Ighalo plays in Saudi Arabia -- such a great talent your have ![]() |
A big congratulations to the "super chickens" for salvaging a draw. For all the loud mouth supporters who had put patriotism above talent, I congratulate you for having so much faith in the "chickens" who couldn't score a goal from open play but rely on VAR to dash them a penalty they didn't really deserve. At least, you can take solace in the fact that you can watch the "BIG BOYS" in Qatar on your television sets, and if NEPA doesn't show you any mercy, then I don't know what to say. |
mofedamijo:UEFA, not FIFA. Away rule counts here. |
Unfair penalty! |
And it's a goooooaaaaaalllllll!!! |
godwon01:No one is here to disturb your peace, mate. If you find issues with my comments, you can let it slide, rather than pass unfortunate remarks. If you would have noticed, I only signed up few days ago to weigh into the discussions concerning the upcoming match. I might as well delete my account after the match so you can "have your peace of mind". Good luck tomorrow! |
Our Nigerian brothers can worry! Anyway, it will be a great way to loose against the Black Stars.
|
YinkaOlusesi16:The Accra Sports Stadium (our biggest stadium) is under maintenance for the upcoming All African Games. The Cape Coast Stadium, which was meant to host this game was the venue for this year's Independence Anniversary parade few weeks before this match, so the pitch had some issues from the match pass. The match had to be shifted to Kumasi instead. But we do have other stadiums in other regions of the country. The pitch wasn't as bad as people had exaggerated it to look like. I guess it was watered before the match that's why it seem that way. Who plays football these days on dry pitch? Also, it is unfair to compare your new stadium in Abuja to Kumasi Stadium who last major renovation was decades ago. At least, you can appreciate our efforts of maintenance. |
morrisono111:Nigerians can talk! Enough of it already! You guys made so much noise about how you were going to slaughter us at our backyard. After a disappointed and a much disintegrated performance, the excuse now was "Oh, Ndidi didn't start". Like seriously? What you should be concerned about is that, you are playing a relatively younger Ghanaian side that have very good players. Your players couldn't match our speed and energy level. Our hopes is to get the first goal at Abuja, then the rest will be history. |
promzy555:I think you need more colour on your television . Pitch was okay — inspected and approved by CAF officials. |
Bouncing2:Lol. You guys never ran out of excuses. Your midfielders need to learn how to keep possession of the ball and give good passes. Prior to this match, I was wondering what you guys thought of our players. Were you thinking that they played for Enyimba Stars or Enugu Rangers? ![]() We can't wait for the second leg. |
Badbunny:That is what your people said before good first leg. Ghana still has the advantage — for any goal that the Black Stars scores in Abuja, the "Super" Eagles would have to score two to win — away goal rule. |
Frakintayo:Try this instead and thank me later: Full time score (Ghana 3 - 1 Nigeria) Goal scorers: M. Kudus (GH), A. Gyan (GH), K. Kyere (GH) Sadiq (NG) |
Obagofixxy:No problem bro, I understand. |
Obagofixxy:Seem quite unfortunate that you take some delight in saying this. Many years later, we now have millions of Nigeria living in Ghana. |
Remman:You seem to have so much faith in the "Super" Eagles. I will be back on this thread after the match tomorrow to hear your excuses for loosing the first leg, and also to read your hopes for the second leg in Abuja. |
Remman:So you really think this is possible? SMH |
Kick off is just tomorrow, so I would urge my Naija brothers and sisters to reduce the noise. Football is played on the field, with legs, not with wishes and words of mouth. Just so you know, Ghana rarely looses any match at home. Check your records. You might have noticed that Ghanaians have remained a bit silent, but my Naija friends are all over the place proclaiming victory for a match that is not even in their favour. We did same to Egypt, in the same stadium. If I should recollect, the scoreline was 6-1. We may have flopped at the just ended AFCON, but a game against the "Super" Eagles in Kumasi is something that we WILL NEVER loose! |
