I also got admission to Seneca and centennial. I picked Seneca because it’s cheaper.

And also I checked their website it’s a 2 years course.

Comfyski:
Hello Gurus,
Please help my sister.

"Please I need help in making a decision, I have 2 offers 1 from Seneca College and one from Centennial College..

Seneca is a bit cheaper but it says 8 months on their letter. Centinneial says 1 year minimum.
I'm just wondering which one will give me an edge for study permit"

If you’ve started the form A process. You can contact your school show them proof and ask for deadline extension.

Like me my deadline was 22nd of this month. I contacted my school. They couldn’t extend the date but they reserved my seat. So hopefully by first week of next month AccessBank suppose don TURNUP

BenedictStinson:
If you have a deposit deadline how are you expected to wait for Form A
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 11:55am On Jul 25, 2022

Confirm the account name from the school.

It depends on the bank.

Like AccessBank told me 30 days. Still waiting on them.

Hermes119:
First I want to pay tuition for Brandon University,I already have the school's account details except account name
I think the account name should be Brandon University but I want to confirm that
Then I would like to know how long it takes to complete the payment and get a receipt
Thanks

Hello Good Morning.
I emailed my school explaining how I won’t be able to make tuition deposit before the due date because of Nigeria banking delay. Also with proof of my form A in process.

So I contacted the school via call as well and explained my situation. And immediately they checked the mail and saw I sent proof that my payment is in process. The representative said though they can’t give extension but since they saw my payment is processing they’ve reserved a seat for me.

Also I received a mail this morning saying this below. And I know that form A is still processing.

“We can see you have been matriculated”

Can anyone explain?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 4:06pm On Jul 21, 2022
I heard that AccessBank don’t process FormA for colleges.

How true is this?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 8:40am On Jul 19, 2022
Do they use official bank rate?

Samtob4life:
Use africhange

Find someone in Canada to create an account with them and fund the ngn wallet (they'll generate naija bank account for you to deposit)

Then convert the Money (naira) to cad on the website/app

Withdraw the funds into the person's canada bank account

Then pay your school fees through the bank app

Tested and confirmed (I paid 2300cad through africhange)
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 9:51pm On Jul 15, 2022
Okay thanks. I even check for the payment with local currency on Flywire but it’s no longer available.

Like they stopped it due to the current high Exchange rate?

Because when I was filing for international bank transfer in Canadian dollar as at 1st of this month the local transfer option was there.

Fativivimat:
Just keep praying and hoping for the best. You can request for an extension as planned. But if nothing changes after the extension you can pay via local currency transfer on flywire to save you time and stress. But the exchange rate might be on a high side...

All the best Champ!
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 7:18pm On Jul 15, 2022
Okay thanks.

I even messaged them on their official Twitter handle and they gave me an email to use in requesting for the extension.

Inshaa Allah all will go in my favor.

johnstan:
If the deadline is from your school and not from the invoice you used to apply for the form A, simply send a mail to the admission department of your school and ask for extension i.e if they offer such.

There's no official format, just introduce your self, Include your admission number and course and they will respond.

Good luck.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 7:16pm On Jul 15, 2022
Since on the 4th of this month. Due date is 22nd Of this month as well.

Yes I’m paying through Flywire. Seneca college.

I have been going to bank back to back. Also calling and sending mails to customer care.

Fativivimat:
It's just doesn't make why Form A should be taking too long for approval. God help us in Nigeria. I will advise you to go to your bank and disturb them small, it might not make any visible difference but it's something just explain things to them if they can call them in Abuja or something. The effort alone will give you a little hope.

For how long have you been processing this Form A?
Are you paying through flywire?

I know you must have been stressed. All the best!

It'll end in praise!
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 7:09pm On Jul 15, 2022
Okay thanks.

Anon123:
There is no specific format.

All you need to do is write an official letter asking for an extension on your tuition payment as a result of delays in Form A approvals by CBN. You can attach evidence to show when you submitted the form a.

I will also advise you seek another means of paying because schools don't give more than 2weeks for an extension and form A might take longer than that.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 7:07pm On Jul 15, 2022

hayoBams:
Good day everyone,

I got a mail from flywire stating that they received my payment but the previous payment instruction i generated has expired, I was now told to send in a new payment id, of which I already have with me.
But i was also asked to include a proof of payment, this exactly is what I'm confused about.
Do better understanding of my question, please view the below screenshot.

I submitted FormA on the 4th of this month. AccessBank

My question is can I start mounting pressure on them immediately?. because I don sha go bank yesterday o lol.

Even the ADB lady that did the ADB_REVIEW said I should wait…

Because I don’t know how fast AccessBank is currently when it comes to FORM A
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 11:30am On Jul 05, 2022
You can use flywire with form A

Ejosb:
It's like form A doesn't work at Norquest college. Its fly wire i saw and the exchange rate na die
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 9:09pm On Jul 04, 2022
Okay, how long does that take??

amila20042001:
This is normal with access bank. The first level approval is done in the branch you selected while filling the form a, then the next level approval is rerouted to the head office for their consummation.

Hello house good evening everyone. I did my form A payment today and it’s already on ADB_DISBURSEMENT_REVIEWER

So what next from here?

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 10:25pm On Jul 02, 2022
Hello house Good evening. From the image below how or where do I indicate that transfer fees are covered by me on FORM A??

To ensure that your payment is credited in full to
your institution, all transfer fees must be covered by
the payer. For SWIFT wire transfers, please select
'OUR' for the details of charges.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Ghazali34(m): 7:58am On Jul 02, 2022
Hello Good Morning please I will like to have a conversation with you. I also got admitted to Seneca college as well…

I sent you a email request already. Hoping I get a response.

highburygonner:
God did it. I give him all the praise. This would have been impossible without Him.

My journey to Canada began in 2014, when I submitted an application for the Federal Skilled Workers program. I sent my documents to Canada in December of 2014, and in April of 2015, I called to inquire about the status of my application, only to be informed that it had been returned to my address because the NOC that I applied for was full. I never received those documents back.

I was devastated, having invested time, effort, and money. My then agent requested that I reapply immediately through the newly introduced express entry program, as I met all of the requirements but was too emotionally exhausted to undergo the process again. I basically gave up on the Canadian dream.

Life goes on.

In 2017, my wife and I made the decision to try again. In 2018, I entered the pool, but my points were just too low to get an invitation to apply. I also applied for PNP in some provinces, but I wasn't selected.

This time, however, we resolved not to give up. We will keep trying.

Going to Canada through study was never appealing to me.

All that changed last year, when we decided to try the study route. I came here to learn the requirements and the process involved. I was astounded by the quantity of information I received. I read parts 18–20 to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire process. I discovered that I could do it myself after receiving loads of information here.

I applied and got admitted to some schools, but decided to settle for Seneca College (1 year program PG).

After paying the 1st semester tuition fees in February, I realized that the available funds would not be enough to show proof of funds. We then decided to sell one of our properties. From the proceeds of the sales, I was able to pay the second semester tuition fees and send some money to my spouse's account for family upkeep (I did all these things to demonstrate that the lump sum was not intended for demonstration purposes).

Timeline:
Application submitted May 11th, 2022.
Biometric was done on the 16th of May, 2022 and was updated the same day.
I booked June 20, 2022 for an upfront medical at IOM.
Medical request in the early hours of June 18th. Omo I was excited.
Medical done: 20th of June
Medical updated: 22nd of June.
BVL: 30 June 2022
PPR: 30 June 2022

Documents submitted:
SOP
LOE (extensively explaining lump sum, breaking down proof of funds, etc.)
LOA
Tuition fees receipt (full year payment)
Attestation of Birth certificate
MBS (5 different accounts)
Police Character Certificate
NIN
Offer of appointment letter
Confirmation of offer of appointment letter
Salary increment letter
Recommendation letter from CEO
Reference letter from my immediate boss
Study leave approval letter
4 months payslips
4 months MBS salary acc.
Staff ID Card
Marriage certificate
Consent letter from spouse
Family pictures
Spouse's NIN and Birth certificate
Children' s NIN and Birth certificate

ND/ HND Certificate

Résumé
Professional certificates
NYSC certificate
Properties (Valuation Reports)
Deed of assignment and power of Attorney of property sold
Cars (proof of ownership certificates)

A guy I did medical with on the 20th had his medical updated on the 23rd and received PPR on the 24th, so I was concerned when I didn't receive PPR after my medical was updated to pass. Due to this, anxiety nearly killed me.I was wondering why I had not yet received PPR and what could have caused the delay.
Yesterday at 4 p.m., I began sending emails to a number of email addresses found on this page. I submitted a web form to Nairobi as well.
Then, I received the golden mail this morning.
I believe that the email and web form did the trick.

A big shout out to Justmellow for writing an outstanding SOP and for reviewing my final documents.I emailed him a lengthy draft. He shortened it into a 3-page study plan, and it made a lot of sense, though I had to write an elaborate LOE.
Thanks to Frank for providing me with advice that altered the entirety of my application.
I am grateful to Anon for reviewing my documents at a very short notice.
God bless you all.
A special shout out to @ACTIVATEOLUWASE, a brother I met here. When I needed assistance with my Form A, he graciously walked me through the steps. Thanks brother. I eagerly anticipate your good news.
Thanks to all contributors, you are all doing a yoeman' s job. God bless you all.
God will certainly remember all PPR hopefuls.

I apologize for the long post.
