Religion / Re: 70 Virgins In Paradise by ghettochyk(f): 4:20am On Feb 10, 2010
I've recently started being around muslims a lot, and the more I see and hear (from them) about some of their practices, the more it becomes evident that something just isn't right. I've asked questions and see it just doesn't seem right.  I wont be going into detail now, but it seems so systematic and like a "checklist" religion. I feel so sorry for all those that devoutly practice a false teachings of Mohammed. I pray for all our muslim brothers and sisters that they'll find the Truth in time.

Good for him/her if it's true. But he/she needs to close down that myspace page and start a new one with all dem demonic "friends.
Abu-Zola, you have anti-Christ tendencies, deterring people from the Truth (Jesus). ZI pray that you'll become a Christian so you can divert all that energy to the good of bringing others to also see the Truth of Jesus.   I pray for your soul and that you find the truth before it's too late. Lemme give u a hint: It's towards Jesus: the Light, Truth, and ONLY Way. Good luck on your journey. wink

@OP
either join in the celibacy (best option for u, whether u decide to stay with her or not) or walk.
TO everyone else questioning her decision:
She has the right to become celibate, besides, (if any of are Christians), then you'd know that having sex with someone u aint married to is sin. Y'all don't have to be together, if you can't respect that, then find someone else to commit sin with. She's probably realized she doesnt wanna be living in sin anymore.

Celebrities / Re: Revealed! Real Reason Nollywood Producers Use Ghanaian Stars by ghettochyk(f): 12:40am On Jan 14, 2010
Many of them are bad actors, especially Nadia. I couldn't watch or buy a Ghanaian movie, but I'll keep it on if I don't have anything better to do. In a movie, at least 3 different girls will have da same hip-length hair style, (what da heck, did they get a 3 for 1 discount?) And now that they're merging with Naija movies, these annoying Ghanaians wanna start claiming movies. This lil girl started arguing with my sister that Tonto Dike is Ghanaian. lol!
Of all da Ghanaian movies my eyes have come across, I've hardly seen any done in a village setting, or have "regular" people in it. Everything is in "Accra". None of them talk with a regular Ghanaian accent. And when they really wanna act African "hood", they start speaking Nigerian pidgin with Naija words in it. Dang, be ur self.  cool

baeyy:

To be truthful am tired of seeing ghanaian actors in our movies with their fakeness and attitude, you can imagine that yvone girl saying that Nollywood and Gollywood is on the same level, just that Nigeria has a bigger market, and that why they seek after gollywood actors and that similar to what Jackie said to. They better be paying taxes, truthfully the only one i think is managable is Majid thats all.
I know. Ghanaians always think they're competing with Nigerians, lmao! Before, they were acting Nigerian in there movies, saying "Chineke mee"? wtf? That's Igbo not even pidgin. Now, they think acting American in there movies makes them a hit. WTF? Before it's only mixed people in their movies and Jackie Appiah, now, they got like 3 other regular Ghanaians along with tha mixed folks, since they started merging with Nigerians. They over -do the sex and sexy scenes, and it's irritating, you can't even watch African movies with ur lil kids anymore cus u dont know when someone's gonna whip out a butt cheek. Always showing grocery store scenes so we can see they have shopping carts. WTF? If I wanna watch an American movie, I'll got to da damn AMC and watch it.

ChinenyeN, why are u arguing with Sugabelly about the Igbo word for metal/jewelry? Like who really cares? Just ignore her , cus obviously she either enjoying keyboard arguments or she aint smart enough to realize that there's many different Igbo dialects. I've understood the Igbo language for over 15 years and always have understood "ola" to mean "jewelry". Ola nti=ear jewerly=earring, ola aka=arm jewerly=bracelet. So, Sugabelly, why are u arguing like you know every damn thing in the Igbo language? I've never even heard of "akolo" for jewelry. Maybe it's YOUR dialect, cus there's many Igbo dialects and ola could mean "jewelry" in another part of Igboland. You seem to be the type to like arguing. Just calm down, alright hun, cus it will never that THAT serious. wink
