padi94: Dear Caragher... your just angry and bitter cos Ronaldo came from Man Utd... He is the best was best in England, was Best in Spain will soon be best in Italy. I see you mentioned something about Baresi and Maldini:
“Listen, I don’t think of Franco Baresi and Paolo Maldini being any less of a defender because they never left AC Milan. So that’s not going to change me with Lionel Messi not leaving Barcelona. I mean, why would you leave Barcelona?"
Nobody is saying Messi is not good... he is a great player and a contender for the throne, we are just saying if he wants to be regarded as a true king let him go and conquer new lands, like Ronaldo has done... until then
...Ronaldo is the GOAT
By who's standard Since when has Ronaldo fan been FIFA or the ones that calls the shot?
Jokerman: How and where does Messi have more goals than Ronaldo??
In addition, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored a colossal 503 goals over the past 11 years – and only 18 per cent of them are penalties. Admittedly, that is a far higher ratio than that of his great rival Messi – only 12% of the Argentine’s 545 goals for Barcelona during the same period have come from the spot.
l love this piece. The writer is clearly a Penaldo fan or making a case for him but what is written every were in his article is that there is one man better.MESSI more goals, less penalty and still more assist. so may penaldo fans now end the GOAT debate
Drogba’s record in West London is presented as a rebuttal: nine cup final goals in nine finals (including four successive FA Cup deciders and three League Cup finals), the first and only African to score 100 Premier League goals, the leading Blues scorer in the Champions League with 37 goals, while his 164 Chelsea goals sees him sit fourth in the club’s all-time scorers chart. He certainly had a modest return in the league over the course of his career in West London: 10, 12, 20, 8, 5, 29, 11, 5 and 4 were the Blues legend’s tally between 2004-05 to 2011-12 and 2014-15 where he returned for a season under Jose Mourinho. Admittedly, he was past his prime in that title-winning season under the Portuguese manager, but previous returns were far from prolific, apart from 2006-07 and 2009-10, campaigns that ended with Drogba top of the league scorers chart. Indeed, it’s surprising how Yakubu Aiyegbeni, another African striker who played in the Premier League around the same time as the Chelsea man scored 95 times in the top flight, but doesn’t get anywhere near the effusive praise that’s showered on the former Ivory Coast international, despite playing for much weaker clubs. The Blues forward scored nine more goals than the Nigerian frontman, has a similar albeit slightly better scoring ratio – a goal every 2.4 games to 2.7 for the Yak – across the same number of seasons (nine each), yet Yakubu isn’t mentioned in the same breath as his fellow African.
naptu2: Has not even gotten nearly to their level.
Look at the people he mentioned below. These people are on the next level below Dibango, Masekela, Fela and Makeba.
These are the people that are on the next level.
Of all the people that you mentioned, only King Sunny Ade came close to having the kind of global impact that the 4 pioneers, Fela, Masekela, Makeba and Dibango had. Many of the people that you mentioned are not even known outside Nigeria.
I do agree that they are legends, but they are not at the level of the 4 pioneers.
We too dey hype our own fela never won anything grammy
naptu2: I consider Manu Dibango to be one of the 4 great legends of African music. The others are Fela Anikulapo-Kuti of Nigeria, Hugh Masekela of South Africa and Miriam Makeba also of South Africa.
Manu Dibango's 1972 classic, Soul Makossa, was a worldwide hit and he won a Grammy Award for it.
Michael Jackson stole a portion of the song for his hit "Startin Something" and Dibango sued him, but the matter was settled out of court. Michael Jackson then granted Rihanna the right to use that portion of the song in her hit, "Please Don't Stop The Music" and Dibango sued both Michael and Rihanna.
He has been based in Paris, France since at least the 1970s. gulique k Manu Dibango - Soul Makossa (1972).

Kylekent59: It is very simple: Stay away from crowded places. Examples : Football viewing centers, parties, Ceremonies, Convocation, Assemblies, shows, weddings, schools, etc...
Churches and mosques also, but I am afraid some people might quote me for saying the truth.
Before you quote me, everyone should pray in his /her home. God is everywhere and he answers our prayers anywhere it's said.
Churches and mosques are gathering, but because of the virus, let every one does it at home.
Also, any bus carrying passengers without nose mask should be seized. Any one walking without nose mask, should go back to his home.
